Nice location and was easy to find. Off the Interstate but far enough away so the noise wasn't noticeable. Our site was level and good sized. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice store and have a small Cafe were you can get breakfast in the morning. Enjoyed our stay and wished we could have stayed longer.

Self checkin notification on office door. Good map of site location. Site was clean and level. Several long term residents. Did not use amenities.

Stayed two different days, one on our way to Elephant Butte, one night on our way out. The owner Charlie is great! Helped us find our site in the dark and even lent us a space heater when our furnace wouldn’t stay lit in 35 degree weather. Campsite is clean, organized, and has well maintained showers and bathrooms. Staff is friendly and the homemade breakfast offered is great! We’ll be back!

Nice place with very friendly owners. Great breakfast in the morning, that will make you feel like everyone staying there is family! It was so nice not to have to worry about cooking, since it was just a quick overnight stay. Also, we ended up arriving after hours, so the owner called us to tell us where to find our info, and said to just relax, go ahead and stop for dinner and take our time.

Nice quiet park, great breakfast, friendly helpful staff, level site, good selection of items in the store, clean facilities. Close to town and the National Wildlife Refuge. Good for a stop over or a few days.

Beautiful location surrounded by cedar and piñon trees. Staff helpful and friendly. Clean, well-kept restrooms. Outdoor wash sink. Only drawbacks - stickers grassy areas our dogs would get in their paws and fur. Also site had a strong cat urine smell when we went outside. This wasn’t case at the other pull thru location we had last year.

Called ahead for reservation, document pkg was waiting for us in outside box. Great site, level, plenty of room for our rv & tow dinghy. Sites are spaced well apart, very pleasant stay. We'll be back any time we travel that way. Host was very congenial and anxious to please.

Wonderful place to stay!! We will be staying at this location at the end of March as annual get away. The desk help, breakfast and maintenance man were exceptional!! Thank you again for a clean wonderful place to stay.

We always stay at the Las Vegas when traveling back and forth between Mesa, AZ and Denver. We always look forward to the amazing breakfast and the clean restrooms. The staff are super friendly and helpful.

Conveniently located off the highway. Nicely maintained. We just stayed overnight, but could see staying here for a few days to explore the area.

Bathrooms clean. And warm. We were just there overnight and didn’t even use showers but all looked well kept. Only complaint would be the puddle directly between the electrical hookup and the trailer door. Guessing that will be addressed in spring.

Very nice and helpful folks! Our Truck broke down near hwy 25 and 84 and it had to be towed to the mechanic in Las Vegas, NM. We called the KOA Campground nearby and they were very accommodating. We had our 5th wheel towed to the KOA and they met us and led us to the site. everything worked as it should, and we were thankful we had a spot while our truck was being fixed...thanks so much!!

No propane even though the campground map shows it. Pull through site not close to level. Office kitty is great!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We do not advertise that we sell propane. We will sell propane as soon as we have someone that is licensed. It is just a visual markers on our site map. We will be leveling all sites when winter is over. If you would have told us while you were here, we would have moved you to a different site.

Stayed 2 nights. Came in a day later than planned due to winter storm warning. Everyone was very accommodating. It's a beautiful campground which I'm sure is very active in warmer weather. Thanks again.

Self checkin with well executed site directions on map. Park had a good "camp" feel with lots of trees and various levels. Did not use amenities.

This is a great place to stay! The owner was super helpful when a neighbor complained about the electric - turned out the service was fine & his "not-name-brand" surge connector was wrong! Close enough to interstate to be convenient, but far enough away there was not traffic noise. Lots of trees, a decent dog run as well as a good breakfast for $8.00. A hidden gem worth checking out.
