The staff were nice & very helpful. Sites are small but there are trees. The campground is not wheelchair accessible, but the staff were helpful & accommodating.

Great campground. It was well maintained and quiet. Excellent location - close to Lake Placid and Whiteface Mt. We hope to come back soon with more family members.

Tree cover campground which did not allow for any satellite usage. With saying that the WIFI was super great. Plenty of band width to stream movies or sports events. Tight roads for a Class A motorhome.

A nice campground which is getting a face lift when we stayed in June but would stay again. Fairly close to everything in the area. Nice campsites, walking trails, and clean bathrooms.

Spent 3 nights in the updated campground. Power, water and WiFi were all perfect and it's clear that there's a lot of investment going into the property in terms of new cabins, gathering areas etc. Checkin was after hours and really well set up, including directions to my site. Staff were friendly and helpful as needed and it's well located near great hiking and the Ausable River. Will be back!

Bathrooms were clean. Staff were attentive. Site was clean and level. Location is not convenient to groceries, liquor store or recreation.

We stayed in our trailer in a pull through full hook up site. The sites are large and tree covered. Very quiet and very clean!! We very much enjoyed the trails out behind the campground.

Property is in transition from privately owned to a KOA. Pros: FHU RV sites were level, good location. CONS: no amenities of a KOA Holiday (pool, cableTV) were not available-price was 65-70$ per night. A disturbing practice we saw - after people paid 9$ per firewood bundle, upon checkout staff would collect unused wood and re-bundle it for sale instead of leave it for the next camper to use.

The campground was well maintained. However, sites were very close to one another. A neighbor’s children woke me at 6am by them pounding an axe on the ground. Too close for comfort.

From the check in experience to the drive out, never felt welcome. 2 out of 10 for the check in and really never saw anyone from the camp after that. Guide was OK getting us to the site and wood, but nothing after that. Last exchange was us leaving a day early, giving back unused bundle of dry firewood. Getting a text that smores was canceled, strange seeing we had left around 8:30 am.

Pleasant staff however our site (37) felt a little dirty. No obvious maps provided to understand the walking trails. Would recommend spot 95 for any class A folks.

Well located. We were able to see everything we came to the area to see. Campsites we’re nicely scattered, which means no straight roads leading you past RVs parked side by side, parking lot style. Woodsy atmosphere/views. Trash not picked up as promised. Dumpster not marked on map, so I went on a dumpster hunt (hunt: it’s behind a maintenance building near the entrance).

Rated 3 because a new campground, no pool and a bit too much dog barking not under control. Very beautiful place and sites are spacious and pretty intimate in the way they are constructed. We love the woods and we’ll served. We were at site 102. I hope eventually the place will grow larger and you will continue with designed sites that offer intimacy.

We had a great site! Spacious and no one right on top of us! Quiet during day and quiet hours. Bathrooms generally clean. The ones that were close to the majority of campers and cottages could have used a cleaning after 8pm..we purchased wood at campground did get some that was green would not burn...overall we enjoyed our stay.next time may stay after black fly season!!

The showers only stay on a max of 5 seconds and the water does not get hot. The location is great for exploring the region. The campsites are large and spaced out well.

This campground is beautiful. The sites are large, with woods between sites providing privacy. Bathrooms were up-to-date, clean and well-functioning, with private showers. Newly improved Wi-Fi was excellent. Staff was great. We had stayed at the previous KOA site for years, so we were a little skeptical, but this was great!! We'll be back.

I was very doubtful about staying at the new KOA. We had stayed at the other KOA in Lake Placid for years. I was pleasantly surprised. I really enjoyed the new KOA in Wilmington. The RV lots were large. You were not right up against your neighbor. There were many walking trails, and of course the workers at the KOA were friendly and helpful. This will become one of my favorite places.

We loved it!! Friendly, helpful staff. Clean and spacious campsites. Firewood was a little pricey, but the convenience of having it deliver to our site with the click of a button made it worth every penny!!

The activities were nice although it seems unnecessary to charge fees for everything. $2 for a scoop of ice cream felt a bit unfair, especially when staff acknowledged that the campground is currently lacking in amenities. Playground is bad, campground needs a pool and basketball court at least. On the plus side, sites were spacious, fire pit area is nice, service is good.

We were disappointed to find out the original Lake Placid/Holiday KOA had closed but gave this KOA a chance. It seemed "older"and more crowded, and a lot less amenities, than the other KOA but it was clean and relaxing. We were once again charged a $20 site request fee, even though we never requested a specific site, but the staff in the office refunded it for us. The staff were very pleasant.

As always, our stay was exceptional! The campground is so well maintained, clean & everyone who works there goes above & beyond to their customers. We especially enjoyed the pancake breakfast. We have 3 more trips planned at this, our favorite KOA during the next few months.

It felt like a bait and switch. The sign for the old koa is still there but the sign is on another old campground. There’s no WiFi or any tv reception of any kind. Along with no cable. The shower room was very old. And the washers and dryers are old and worn out. I expect a level of standard at a koa, this place didn’t even scratch the surface. On the positive, the site was nice.

Nice place but not as spectacular as the other lake placid koa. While i like the campground I struggled with the cost ratio. Also being advised where to out recycling at end and-or on the map would have saved a hassle at check out.

Suck a beautiful ride up there and the Scenery is breathtaking, during winter and every other season....so peaceful and relaxing I love it
