Up front there were men's and women's bathrooms, and they were very clean which I appreciate. There were also women's showers in a separate room. (Not men's.) In the middle of the campground (where most people were) there were 3 bathrooms with a shower in each. One was closed. Men could only shower in the other 2 room/stalls, leaving those bathrooms always full. 30+ min waits for a bathroom!!!

We are so sorry for the confusion. There is an additional shower room for men around the corner from the women's shower room. We will be sure to order some more signage for this area. Thank you for staying with us!

Water leak coming up from the ground at our campsite, told when we noticed it, they new about it the day before we were leaving and didn't fix it. Went to empty rv tanks, and couldn't because the Seward system was backing up the Seward pipe with sewage. Took 2.5 hrs to dump the tanks. Very dissatisfied, I needed to leave for prior engagement. Please reimburse me 1/2 my costs. Blake Verbel.

Been my favorite place for years before KOA took it over. Now more money and less amenities. And terrible roads, especially when it rains. The sites (formally 100 acre woods) seem to be more crowded now with the addition of all the cabins. It had a more 'woodsy' feel in the past. Maybe in future years when they get the other side of the road completed it will be better. Staff was great.

We enjoyed our stay at the Lake Placid/Whiteface Mtn. KOA. The sites were large with great shade coverage. The campsite is well located, close to hikes, tourist attractions and Lake Placid. We will definitely stay again!

The KOA is in a great location. Clean and with spacious sites, friendly staff. We had quite a bit of privacy. The only issue was the amount of bathrooms. If you are towards the rear of the campground there were only 2 toilets and each had showers in them. There was a lot of waiting and frustration from the campers. Please solve this problem. A dedicated toilet would be very useful.

Overpriced and dishonest, the old website that showed a beautiful pool should be removed from the internet. $125 for RV site with no pool, or private water or other amenities. Positive side employees were professional, friendly and kind.

Had a great stay, place was clean, the staff was wonderful. Only issue was that site 30 had a horrible sewer smell that would come and go, and several times we noted the fire pit would fill up with water, drain, and fill up again. This was not during rain storms. I know it sounds strange, but that's what happened. I suspect it is sewage. Check that fire ring everyday and see/smell for yourself.

Bathroom & showers were clean, water was warm. Some bathrooms were locked/no one in them, which meant fewer for campers to use. Overall, very pleased with campground.

We loved our stay here. Every interaction with staff was exceptional - very very friendly staff. Also, the campground is super clean and nicely wooded with large sites. We will for sure be coming here again!

Nicest cabin we’ve ever been in! Was a little concerned with road closures duel to Ironman, but staff was helpful quitting us us out. Great 35th wedding anniversary weekend!

We loved our stay at the Lake Placid/Whiteface KOA! Our site was very clean and relatively private with lots of trees around. The common area with fire pits, corn hole and Adirondack chairs was so nice as well. We will definitely be back for another stay ���

We stayed in a deluxe cabin which was perfect for our family of 4 with a young baby. The campground itself didn’t have much to offer as far as things to do on site. We had to drive everywhere which was difficult with a baby. Staff was extremely friendly and tentative and we will definitely be back soon.

The staff were wonderful. The cabin was clean but the grounds were far below expectations, so much so, within a few hours I secured another room elsewhere.

Great people working there. They were able to upgrade our cabin and were very flexible. We do miss the old location though. I hope the rumors of a Terramor going in there are true. We would definitely book it. We rented kayaks and SUPs which was fun and staff was helpful with that. I do wish the store had longer hours.

Big shout out to Sam and Connor who helped us get set up with everything we needed. We got lucky with our camp cabin - was great. The campground in general is not nearly as beautiful as previous site, sad it’s gone. Our kids (4&7) loved it. Wlmtn Beach was nice to have, pool would be better. More bathrooms needed. Shower houses near entrance were dark, very hot water. Staff were so so kind. thx!

Il manquait d'électricité dans le bâtiment de la laverie / toilettes et douches. Et personne pour rebrancher l'électricité sans accès au bâtiment principal qui ferme trop tôt (17h!). Donc on se retrouve dans le noir au milieu de sa douche et le linge en cours de lavage peut rester une heure bloqué dans les machines. Très désagréable. Reste du camping sympa, activité et emplaceme

Super clean bathrooms! So nice to have a dish washing sink which was unexpected. Very friendly and helpful staff. Firewood was delivered right away. I made the suggestion thT the fireplace be moved closer to the middle of the site near the picnic table rather than right next to the road.

Only 3 bathrooms in lower camping area and only 2 were ever unlocked. Long walk up to the restrooms and shower. Water pressure was horrible more like showering under a garden hose that is only a little tired on. But they did have hot water. No place to set you things and only 2 hooks to hang everything. Kids wanted to play in the game room and lost about $4.00 in quarters due to broken games.

This KOA location is basically operating at a bare bones level. They are rebuilding sites at the moment. So, no pool. The arcade (if you can call it that) was a disaster. Nothing worked. It’s was dusty and terribly outdated. The game room is a potential cash cow guys. Pay attention!!! Make sure the machines work and are modern! DVDs? Really? The staff is very friendly and helpful.

This campground needs lots work,it lakes quality bathrooms, 100 Campsites with just 3 washing machines. . Wifi real good. Not worth $90.00 night

We greatly enjoyed our time at the KOA campground. We like the setting because it's near the Wilmington town beach and a only a short walk to downtown Wilmington.

The staff was super friendly, helpful, and enthusiastic about their job! The bathrooms were exceptionally clean ALL DAY! Loved all the activities they had for the kids/campers on the weekends. The cabin site we stayed at was clean. Loved that we had wooded area around our outdoor space and only a tent site on the other side of our cabin. Perfect for our anxious dog's seclusion. We'll be back!

We stayed for 1 night in a deluxe cabin - everything was great. The weather put a damper on some of our activities (campfire/swimming), but that is not anything the campground could foresee or fix. I hope to come back again with my family instead of my girl scout troop!

Your staff was great very helpful and I enjoyed my stay I have stayed here before it was a KOA they had cable TV now you have internet that was supposed to be as good but the streaming w was mostly buffering it was raining when we were in our camper it was hard to watch tv

We enjoyed our stay at this site... check-in was very efficient and the sites were nice and large. There is lots of great outdoor activities in the area (hiking, swimming, exploring). We look forward to see what you do the the original location!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Wit that said the facility was extremely sub par for a KOA camping spot. There were only two bathrooms working so you had to wait in a line everytime you needed to use it. The restroom/showers were extremely filthy. The cabins I stayed in were not very clean. The floors were covered in sand as soon as we opened the doors. That said I will never stay agIN!!!

Suck a beautiful ride up there and the Scenery is breathtaking, during winter and every other season....so peaceful and relaxing I love it
