Beautiful campground set back in a grove of pine trees. Spacious sites, and clean facilities. The trail leading to the river is a great added bonus. We’ll definitely be back!

We had asked to stay close to our friends, and we were only a few sites away so thank you for that! Our site was right up front by the office, and we were concerned about noise traffic etc. Not a problem, and it was actually nice to be so close to store showers etc. Campground is very well run, everything is clean & well maintained. Can't wait to stay again!

Friendly staff, nice accommodations. The only thing is a wish the website would have been more updated. We were expecting to be able to get pizza at the KOA but apparently that was only for summer

Very nice campground. The one big thing we had an issue with was that the trail to the dog park was in desperate need of woodchips or rocks to cover the many tree roots. It was a tripping hazard and muddy. Our dogs really enjoyed the dog park though. It’s a beautiful park and very quiet.

We love this KOA it's about our 7th year and have recommended to a bunch of people. We have used cabins and camp sites. Only suggestion, please add more hooks and a shelf in the showers please. Such a nice KOA with nice size of sites, lots of trees. Love this camp ground!!! We are already planning more trips! Everyone is so helpful and friendly! See ya soon!

Because we were on just electric/water site, we used the bath houses. They were nice and clean. We try to come to High Peaks region twice a year and will definitely stay here again.

A little pricey, but very nice.

Excellent experience. Josh was very helpful. Two members of my party stayed in T03. The cabins are over priced compared to amenities. 178/day they need to be much better. The knives weren't sharp, upstairs wasn't clean.etc. I wouldn't call it deluxe. Someone should go and check a cabin in smokey mountains for comp. Overall good time. Pleasant staff and Josh the best.

Non existent bandwidth on Wi-Fi, very spotty cell on att and Verizon. (Great spot if u want digital isolation). Camp is pretty and in a beautiful area. I moved to a park in town. I needed internet for my work.

Beautiful location, campsite fine, K-9 park with obstacles were great. Unfortunately, no poop bags were available, mentioned to staff, finally on the third day there were bags in only one area. Mini-golf was not kept free of pine needles, unable to enjoy. Laundry facility near our site had 1 each w&d, unfortunately the dryer didn’t work, had to carry wet clothes to another area, coin box was ful

The atmosphere was great, as usual, and the cabin was relatively clean. All of the staff was friendly and easy to contact if we had a question. We will definitely come back like we do every year:)

The first night there, I discovered many hairs in the bed. Housekeeping did come the next morning and put fresh sheets on the bed. I was disappointed in how small the cabin was for the price of over $200 per night. It was a plus that each bedroom had its own heat and A/C controls. There were also TV's in each room.

Everything was clean and organized, staff was friendly. Love the fact you have sites that are wooded and somewhat spacious and don't try and cram too many campers in. One improvement would be the cable TV we paid for, it plays the same shows over and over again...

Great staff, very helpful! I had low tire pressure and maintenance staff were very helpful with filling tires to correct my poor planning....much appreciated! Many things to do in the area. Campground is close to Lake Plaid, Whiteface Mountain, Ausable Chasm and many other adventures! Recommended.

Very nice midweek stay in late September. We found the site in excellent condition and the facilities all well kept. The only drawback was the WiFi connection was slow and as advertised, only appropriate for checking email. Even browsing websites often took too long. On the other hand, there is cell service and we were able to complete tasks with data turned on.

Love this place, but need to turn off the tennis court lights or point in another direction. Light blasted our tent all night

I preface this by saying we showed up a month early(I requested oct instead of Sept). Our cabins fireplace didn’t work but there was a very small heater. The cabins lighting was very minimal and the garbage canon porch was full of garbage. The kitchen was well stocked and nice. The park itself was well kept and the staff helpful and accommodating.

Great campground with large wooded sites. Good location also if like to hike.

great location with easy access to all the important attractions in the area ... campground is large with lots of trees and decent facilities ... the only downside is site we had was not level, but the positives far outweighs the negatives ... would definitely stay here again!

Only thing that needs improvement is the campgound's WIFI. Otherwise a perfect place to stay.

LP/Whiteface KOA is our happy place!!

This was my first stay at a KOA, I plan to be visiting many more in the coming years. The amount of thought put into total customer satisfaction and care if appreciated.

The cabin we booked was nice and quaint. We did find a bottle of water and wrapper from the previous renters, which did make me question how clean it was. The staff was nice and friendly for the most part. The game room and playground closed extremely early which was very unfortunate. It's a family friendly park they should be open later or at least until quiet time is enforced.

This has become a yearly vacation spot for our family. The camp is clean and peaceful. Friendly people and close to trails. We have toddlers and love the cabins.

After the first stay last October, we stayed 3 more times. Two of the times were in a double queen deluxe cabin which were very nice (much smaller and totally different inside than the 3 queen cabin we booked before). They were located toward the back of the park, but still a quick walk to the front where the pool, store, and playground are located. Friends went with us one of the times and stayed in the deluxe cabin with a bunk room. I was surprised at how comfortable the bunk mats were. We just returned from a trip where we stayed in the glamping tent. There's 4 tents located down a steep hill, along with with group camping sites, 2 camping cabins, and a lean -to. It's definitely not as accessible walking to the front of the park when staying down there so we had to drive each time. The upside is you're more isolated and right near the river, it was nice falling asleep to the sound of the ausable each night and waking up to the view each morning. There are 2 tents located right near the bathroom and the other 2 are down a small, but still kind of steep, hill (just something to keep in mind when hauling gear). There was 1 other group there in a glamping tent when we went and they up and left randomly 1 night around 9pm…we weren't really sure why. The next night we returned to find a raccoon inside the tent eating our raisins (which is probably the reason the other group left). Staff chased him out, but he returned several times in the middle of the night and we had to keep chasing him out. There is no real good way to keep out the critters because they can still sneak under the tent. Bathroom and shower facilities in that area were clean. It was 4 individual bathrooms, each with a shower. Hot water was great. The only thing I didn't like is the shower head was positioned kind of low. I'm only 5'7” and had to bend down to wash my hair. Overall the glamping tent was enjoyable, but I think I will stick with the deluxe cabins from now on.
