We stayed for the first time in May. Playground and other outdoor areas were not well kept and in my opinion overgrown with weeds. Could use some updating. Site was decent but had leaky water spigot causing puddles around setup area. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Store was nice and had a variety of items. Close to town for convenience.

We stayed on the lake in a tent and loved the view. There were two pools but the one on the tent side was closed so we had to go to the pool on the other side of the grounds to swim. Our tent site did not have a grill but instead a 2 inch metal pole sticking out of the ground where it should have been. We had fun but make sure to bring your own cooking equipment and be prepared to improvise.

Although the campground was nice, the office people were not. We pulled in right at 5 o'clock, when apparently the office closes. They ran to close and lock the door so we couldn't check in, in person.

Beautiful location and the views were phenomenal. Staff were very polite and the facilities were very clean. Definitely a must stay.

There was a dirty sweater and dirty depends in the bedroom with poop on it. The air conditioner did not work. It was 82 in the cabin. One of the guys had us turn it off for a day.

We cannot say enough about this amazing park!!! Absolutely breathtaking views, amazing landscaping and super clean! The staff are so friendly and accommodating. The manager is awesome and will go above and beyond to help. I swear she worked 24/7 the entire time we were there and she was everywhere through out the park. Our next stay will be in a caboose!! Thank you KOA!!

This place ROCKS! Lots to do. Gorgeous lake and looks like they have pontoon boats too, didn't use, but will next time I come back. Cabin was very clean and tv works off internet, so I simply log in and continue my stream. Georgia is a pretty state itself, and this campground adds to the Southern Charm associated. Very relaxing and friendly staff. Whole place looks like it is well cared.

We love this campground. Everyone has always been helpful and friendly. There a variety of choices when it comes to "where you want to be located" within the campground area. Great place.

The area where this KOA is located has a train next to it that sounds the horn at night, also close to highway. There was no cable and it has Wifi. For a 1 to 2 nights it is ok. We stayed in a patio site and it was very nice and well maintained with great views to the lake. This KOA also has a very nice pool and beach area.

We had a beautiful spot right on the lake. Absolutely wonderful. We want to come back when it is warmer and enjoy the lake and also the pool. Love the grading of the property so that you get a view of the lake from many different levels.

Very friendly staff. The grounds are well taken care of. The old railroad cars are cool. The park is very hilly. I know that's not your fault, but just an observation. Not very bicycle friendly. The water pressure was quite low and our 30amp breaker tripped right after we got there, but that was the only time.

Too far from the Interstate, difficult to back into sites with such narrow roads, no trash receptacles nearby (only at entrance).

The sites are hard to get in and out of. Roads are in very bad shape. The campground it’s self is very pretty.

Only thing to say is you need to cut the grass around campers more.Use the weed eater more.

The staff were great. We didn't like our 50 amp site. It was so far from level that we had to put 6inch blocks under the front jacks and it still wasn't level. A staff member fount a step for us so the wife could even get in the motorhome. And the surge protector kicked out our last day leaving us running on coach batteries. It doesn't kick out at home with both a/c units running.

Very nice park & beautiful lake. The site we were in was so generic based on the other sites & the exits are so tight it was hard to get a 40 ft out. They seem to have had more resident parking than anything else. Probably would stay there again based on convience.

Beautiful location. Only negative was the 30 amp plug at the post was upside down and I had to tie in/up my surge protector to keep my plug from falling out. Quiet, serene and beautiful location.

Water pressure was a little low. Beautiful setting with the lake at your doorstep. Very clean and employees very eager to help and answer any questions. We will definitely make this a regular stop on our winter trips to and from Florida. Our only regret we only planned our trip staying one night. Next year we will stay 4 - 5 nights.

What a beautiful campground. Our site was lakefront. The grey heron came to visit us. What a beautiful bird. Only stayed one night but loved every minute of it. Great staff too.

We went camping last weekend (04/15/2022-04/17/2022) The bathrooms were incredibly clean, campsites were well taken care of! My wife and I will definitely be back, we have already booked for this coming up weekend. I think we have found our new spot for camping! Absolutely no complaints!

It was good. Apparently there was a storm The night before so our site was covered with sand, rocks, debris but luckily we had a leaf blower with us that took most of it away. The railing around the deck was loose, someone must have hit it backing in. Nice campground.

We had a great time over our weekend stay. Very nice campground and well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful and they had a lot of fun activities for the kids. We are looking forward to our next trip in warmer weather.

The night guard- fantastic. The office women- perfection. The site after midnight, ugh. We had a guy drive his golf cart through the site at midnight, the neighbors were outside with their dog at 12,2, 4, 5, 7 am. I know because he yelled at the dog instead of using a leash. Time and again; we have had better sleep in Detroit city. If the neighbor were gone, it’s a 10. Most guests are full time.

We had a wonderful time staying in a train car at the KOA Lake Oconee Campground! The train car was very clean well-stocked and fun to stay in! The staff at the front office was so friendly and helpful! I would highly recommend this glamping experience!

I stayed in one of the caboose rentals and loved it! Quaint and equipped with everything I needed! While at the park I quickly made new friends and had so much fun at karaoke. One of my favorite things to see was the nature center, I got to help feed the critters & learn about them too! This park is amazing and really close to some nice restaurants & a large grocery. The lake was beautiful, bonus!

Pulled a travel trailer and had a late check-in. There was a worker waiting for me and took me to my site and helped me direct my trailer in the dark and rain. Great service.
