Great area, clean sites, and friendly employees. Had a good time with our friends there. Only complaint is I paid extra for my site but there wasn't anything different about it from the ones right next to it.

We came in the dark and had a terrible time finding our spot. Even with a map. It would help to have signage saying which spot numbers are on each row.

The place is NOT a “holiday” or family environment. The trees are dead. The roads are filled with cracks. The “catch and release” pond is poop brown. The “jumpy pad” is a danger to anyone that jumps on it. The basketball court is a shame and had four deflated balls. Ant piles were everywhere. It’s just not anyplace we ever want to go again.

We basically got there after 8pm and left at 8am, so we didn’t get to use the area at all. The site was just as described easy in and easy out. I do feel like a larger sign at the entrance to direct you to the back, where the actual office is, would have been helpful since we arrived after dark. Other than that it was neat, clean and accommodating.

The KOA was beautiful, however it would have been nice if the grass would have been cut for our arrival. Also, the bathrooms (blue building) had not been cleaned in days, according to the cleaning log by the door. Garbage in the men's bathroom was overflowing. Thant did not take away from the beauty of the campground.

Staff was outstanding and accommodating Bathrooms - Blue were outdated could use interior investment Bridge across pond picturesque however when you walk on the bridge they are covered with webs and duck feces The Farmers Market was a great event The sites were clean and spacious

Enjoyed our stay. Had a back in site on the pond with fountain. There’s a wooden walkway with Gaza o across the pond. Staff were accommodating as we needed to extend our stay for repairs.

Well the personnel and staff are great however the park infastructure is laking. Had to move int he middle of our stay, Power Pedestal was not working correctly and the low voltage distroyed my Power Converter in my RV, So I had to get a Moble Tech out and he diagmosed the issue, no AC on a Hot Day and night. Won't be staying here again, maybe a cabin but not my RV. Costing me over $300.00 bucks.

Though the campgrounds very nice, the people are exceptional I felt it was in kind of a sketchy and unsafe area. But I do have to complement the staff as they go out of their way to compensate and be really helpful.

We spent one night here. Friendly staff. The shower house was filled with sewer gas and was unusable. The brightly-colored cabins were a cheerful sight.

Great short stay. Huge KOA. Nice showers. Hot water! Good pressure. Super clean. Nice pull through spots. Good spacing. Great walkway over the lake. Didn't use the pool but it looked nice. Definitely will come back.

The place was clean and a nice place to stay. The staff were very flexible with scheduling when my wife has an unexpected health crisis. Brooke was wonderful.

Stayed at the Lake Conroe KOA for about 5 months in my fifth wheel RV while working in Houston. Great location with plenty of restaurants/shopping just a short walk or drive away. Very spacious sites through the park compared to other KOA's. All sites are paved and mostly level, definitely big rig friendly. Staff was great! Very responsive to inquiries and requests for maintenance (had an electrical pedestal issue early during my stay that was quickly resolved). As the weather started warming up, the maintenance team got busy with lots of little things around the park… repainting site numbers, fixing water leaks, etc… Only downside is that they don't really have a “Store” like other large KOA's. They have a few items but with the large office they have, there could be so much more. I'd definitely stay there again if I was in the area.

I recently stayed at this campground and overall had a pleasant experience. The place is very well-maintained with great amenities, and the sites are spacious and well spread out. The customer service and employees were excellent, providing a welcoming atmosphere. However, the only downfall for us was the presence of unsupervised children. While there are multiple families living there full-time, their children roam freely around the campground. Our lakefront site seemed to be a popular hangout spot for them, leading to some inconvenience as they left their bikes, scooters, and toys near our RV. I even had to politely ask a child to refrain from climbing the ladder on my RV. If you're considering booking a lakefront site, I recommend requesting one on the south side of the park to avoid the children's high traffic area, particularly site 192, which seems to be a pathway for them to the lake. 25 feet to the right of this site there are no rv spots or cabins and community lake access. Unfortunately the children prefer cutting through occupied sites and hanging out in the driveways of the sites. Overall, it's a lovely campground with some minor considerations regarding children's supervision.
