Two of the 4 spots did not have power so they split us up. Not sure why they don't check before people arrive we were there for a weeding and was split up due to this.Bathrooms ran out of toilet paper.The grass at the RV spots was high.This was a holiday weekend not sure why they did not prepare for it.Pool water was dirty/not clear. Staff was friendly and tried to accommodate us best they could.

Not doing this park again, we should have been warned when we called to make our reservation that there was a convention staying there. We weren’t able to take our grandkids to the pool, or any other events. They were playing vulgar music and drinking until all hours of the night. There was probably 200-300 of them there and they did what ever they wanted. It was an awful weekend.

grounds were really nice, and staff was very friendly and helpful. Only complaint is that cottages need some serious TLC- our bedroom door had a huge crack in it and toilet was very badly stained. still, we had a very nice stay overall

It was very quiet and peaceful, but nothing do really do unless you left the Koa. This koa didn't compare to the San Antonio one which is what I expected. Restrooms were beyond disgusting. Bugs flying at your face as you try to wash your hands. They weren't cleaned the entire time we were there since 9-1. I got pics as proof. Staff was friendly. Likley will return only if we have no choice. Ty

Super people under new management . Working on lots of plans to improve everything . It’s a slow process but will be worth the wait. New lawn company finally keeping the grounds , mowed , weed whacked & edged ! We will return and look forward to the upcoming improvements . Kids find this a nice place , pool , jump pad & train rides .

What a Terrific little RV Park! It's a little off the Beatin' Track. A Great place and I was disappointed to see so few RV'ers There. Check it out.

Very Clean cabins and restrooms. Very nice/friendly people. Miscommunication about tent space area but manager corrected and apologized. We had a Great Time and would definitely visit again. Activities for younger children on Saturday left amazing memories for them. We had ALOT of FUN!

We took our grand daughters with us for the first time. They had a great time swimming and playing.. The staff was wonderful and the campsites were awesome. We will definitely be back.

Cabin floor needed a mop desperately. A few light bulbs were out in the kitchen area and on the porch. Air filter hadn't been changed since December and was so dirty that air couldn't flow. Bedrooms could use a ceiling fan. Some sheet pans for the kitchen would have been nice. Pool had sand in the bottom and needed vacuuming. Cable TV was static-y. Park was quite - overall decent stay.

Could be a really nice place to stay. We typically stay at KOA because we know what to expect, clean level sites, well stocked store, and helpful professional staff. The site was level. Fire pits and area around site were littered with trash, and the dumpster area was revolting. Store was a big disappointment. Pool was nice, but not the cleanest, and the deck chairs were moldy. Not up to KOA

We were not happy with the location of our site. We were backed up the closest to the highway you could be, there were no trees at all, no shade to speak of. There were a lot more spaces/ sites that we could have preferred to be assigned to. The facilities could use some updating. We've stayed in a lot of KOA campgrounds and this one seemed pretty old and dated. Please improve on the dog park.

This faculty could be considered a false advertiser. They advertise several amenities that are not available and those that are are missing parts. The available thing to do is the pool, jump pad, and catch and release. A swingset is not a playground! Holiday KOA have family standards well not here!

Patio what's dirty food droppings was still on the table, TVs didn't work good fuzzy and staticky & to small & it wasn't a TV in the 2nd room

Poorly designed but clean. High curbs, sewer above ground, 50 amp service would not run 2 airs. Extremely loud cabin tenants- music so loud it was heard throughout the park. NO TREES- get some shade for the sites. Sad so much was done there by someone who knows nothing about RVing

Stayed at the Lake Conroe KOA for about 5 months in my fifth wheel RV while working in Houston. Great location with plenty of restaurants/shopping just a short walk or drive away. Very spacious sites through the park compared to other KOA's. All sites are paved and mostly level, definitely big rig friendly. Staff was great! Very responsive to inquiries and requests for maintenance (had an electrical pedestal issue early during my stay that was quickly resolved). As the weather started warming up, the maintenance team got busy with lots of little things around the park… repainting site numbers, fixing water leaks, etc… Only downside is that they don't really have a “Store” like other large KOA's. They have a few items but with the large office they have, there could be so much more. I'd definitely stay there again if I was in the area.

I recently stayed at this campground and overall had a pleasant experience. The place is very well-maintained with great amenities, and the sites are spacious and well spread out. The customer service and employees were excellent, providing a welcoming atmosphere. However, the only downfall for us was the presence of unsupervised children. While there are multiple families living there full-time, their children roam freely around the campground. Our lakefront site seemed to be a popular hangout spot for them, leading to some inconvenience as they left their bikes, scooters, and toys near our RV. I even had to politely ask a child to refrain from climbing the ladder on my RV. If you're considering booking a lakefront site, I recommend requesting one on the south side of the park to avoid the children's high traffic area, particularly site 192, which seems to be a pathway for them to the lake. 25 feet to the right of this site there are no rv spots or cabins and community lake access. Unfortunately the children prefer cutting through occupied sites and hanging out in the driveways of the sites. Overall, it's a lovely campground with some minor considerations regarding children's supervision.
