The best way to find your favorite boudin is to sample it along the Southwest Louisiana Boudin Trail, along U.S. Interstate 10 and visiting any mom and pop food establishments, specialty meat shops, or grocery stores that has boudin fresh or packaged. We have compiled a convenient list of stops that provide boudin. You may pick up a brochure at our visitors center.

Cameron Prarie National Wildlife Refuge, located about 30 minutes south of Lake Charles KOA, is a nature experience like no other. Enjoy viewing of wildlife you couldn't see anywhere else, including alligators, bull frogs, ducks, geese, roseate spoonbills, and many many more, all from your car! It is a drive around nature observatory that is a must see!
Open March 15 - October 15, Lacassine Pool is one of the premier bass fishing spots in the country. Just a short 20 minute drive from the campground, you can enjoy both bank fishing and boat fishing and try your luck at catching a Lacassine Pool trophy bass!
We are an informal sailing club located in Lake Charles, LA (east of the I10 bridge, exit 30A next to the public beach). We organize weekly races on Wednesdays as well as occasional regattas and social events on weekends. The club also offers free sailing lessons every year (typically the second week of June).
