The park was great. Bath house had very little water pressure and we had no wifi or internet. That being said everything was wonderful, grounds looked great and the people we dealt with were terrific, very helpful. Great location close to what we wanted to do. Would stay again.

We stayed on the site the patio site for three days we had a good time the staff is very pleasant the owner is very nice person but the people run rampant with the golf carts there so be on the lookout

1. The campground is very tired and needs TLC. 2. The pictures on your website do not reflect your current campground. 3. We had more positive interaction with seasonal campers than KOA staff…rarely saw KOA staff even in the park and they weren’t overly friendly. 4. The plus about this establishment is that it’s close to home!

We usually love our stay KOA. But, this time we were disappointed to learn of 2 changes with Bomoseen campground. They redid the pool area and it is now WAY too small. The new pool is too full with just 10-15 people in it. Also the slide is nice, but because the pool is so small you have to wait for people to be out of the way to use it. And no longer can rent golf carts.. disappointing.

You can tell that the camp is well loved and cared for. We had a chance to chat with the owner one day and she is lovely. Some updates are being done with the pools and the store is well stocked. Our only complaint would be that it gets a little bit rowdy for us.

The campsites and facilities we all very neat and clean. Overall it is a great campground for families with young children. The campsite next to us that had at least 7 tents set up on it. One of the tents was set up about 3 feet from my car which was very clearly on our campsite and then they parked a car right next to that tent. There seems to be no over site of campers

Cons: Tiny site with sharp stones, our neighbor’s sewer was halfway into our site, the pool pictures online were outdated so we expected a larger pool with more space for smaller kids, water pressure was crazy inconsistent, and the wifi wasn’t even fast enough to send a text. Pros: Everyone was friendly and the store was very nice.

Sadly there was no lake swimming, the check in process was great very nice ladies at the front desk, the quiet hours of 11:00pm is way to late in this kind of setting. There were 7 tents in one space next to us, the kids ages 4-11 were in the pool most of the day with NO supervison, it was heart breaking and scary to me. Showers were good and hot but lots on bugs in the bottom.

The staff are amazing at the KOA - they are so friendly and helpful it made our trip enjoyable. The site we had was next to the lake with a patio and it was absolutely beautiful. We rented a canoe for a full day and had a great time. I highly recommend staying at this campground it is truly a hidden gem!

The WiFi was poor, the staff was unfriendly, and the guests staying there seemed to be unsavory. Not impressed and won’t stay here again

This was our first time and we will definitely be coming back! Our site was a little small but other than that we enjoyed our stay. The staff was very nice and helpful.

I would consider this park more as a Journey park versus a Holiday. The activities for kids/adults were minimal with a tiny pool with a slide and a splash pad not open. Playground is dated. Sites are very tight and very few sewer sites. Appears to be mostly seasonal sites. Boat docks are not reservable so plan on trailering boat daily. Park is in marsh part of the lake. Not for us!!

Overall a nice camp in the forest.we stayed at a #118 with a 42ft 5th wheel. For W/E only to expensive. Sites too narrow, driveways narrow ,no way we could have made it through the dumping station wich is at the opposite site of the campground. The access to the dumpster is dangerous because 100s of roots sticking out of the ground, no real walkway there. Hope that helps to make improvements.

Such a great campground. It was kept impeccably clean. There was a lot to do...swimming, arcade, kayaking, canoeing, row boating, fishing, mini golf, mining for "gold", walking, dog park, etc. The little store has everything you could need and was incredibly well priced. Theres also Lake Bomoseen State Park and Half Moon State Park right across the river with lots of great hiking trails. Loved it!

The new pool and improvements look nice. The staff was nice and helpful. The roads in the campground were tight for a 40 foot motor-coach.

I signed up for full hookups in the KOA website, and when I arrived they told me that I only have water and electric. I told them there was a mistake and I would like to change site. nothing available with full hookups, so I had to go to the dump station twice during my stay. it was an hour lost every time and stressful to drive around all people in the campground.

Lake Bomoseen KOA holds the KOA Holiday rating, but the facilities are dated and shabby. It is obvious, however, that the owners are working on the property and it would be great if it continues to improve. The campsites are crammed together and many are not well maintained. On the bright side, the camp store was well stocked and the staff is so very nice!

Always feel like family returning, upgrades to the campground again this year, new blue stone in the sites, brand new pool and water fun area, including shared area for us older folks. Just love this Campground!

In typical KOA fashion, some of the sites are very tight. This campground is in the process of making some upgrades to the pool area, and had a few other activities for the kids to do. The "dog park" was a small, square pen with nothing in it. The bathhouses could use some updating. The free Wifi was disappointing and the paid version was VERY expensive! The hosts were very friendly/helpful.

had to stay next to road as sewer etc & cable were far each other. Had to go Rutland buy longer elec & cable cord as so far from sewer. have 25 feet of cable, elec, sewer-not enough. Very crowed. NOT what expected in KOA camp area which why pay more to make sure run right and sites clear. Had to use 10 pieces of wood to get trailer level. If you expect this to be like most KOA's forget it.

It’s a very old campground. We stayed in a pull-thru site with very little room between us and our neighbor, not comfortable having a campfire. The lake was covered in algae. We were very disappointed!

We really enjoy this campground. the only thing we think could make it better would be a set of bathrooms closer to the tent sites.

This is a wonderful campground. The staff was extremely friendly in checking us in. We stayed here years ago before they were a KOA Campground. Well groomed campsites, and even while we were here and it was fall they were still blowing leaves to keep the sites clean as well as every fireplace cleaned out. Where big believers in carry in carry out and we couldn't find one drop of garbage scattered anywhere. We had a family emergency and had to leave a day earlier and the owners were kind to us and did the right thing. We will definitely be back there for the summer 2024 season, and would highly recommend you give them a try. You'll be happily surprised.
