The cabin we stayed in was very nice very clean. Everyone was helpful would highly recommend it to anyone especially a family. The kids would love it. The only thing that was bad was TV signal. It kept shutting of and had to reboot 7 or 8 times. But very nice quiet place.

Reservations, checking in, were all super easy. We stayed in the Cool Caboose. Would definitely do it again! Friendly people, very clean place. Highly recommend.

This was a great place to stay. The Caboose is really interesting! It has heated floors, a great memory-foam mattress, a hammock to lounge in and ladders to an "upstairs" seating area for two. I plan to stay there again next time I pass through La Junta, and I will recommend my sisters take their kids there, too!

We stayed in the caboose! We LOVED it!! It was so well designed/decorated inside! Super clean, fun, and cozy! We stayed in the area to go to Old Bent's Fort and wanted a place not too far from the fort. This KOA was clean, friendly, quiet, and we highly recommend the caboose!!

Staff was friendly at check in and the converted train caboose we stayed in was so fun and clean. I wasn't aware the train was painted recently and still had plastic on the front side. Wish I had known that before arriving but it didn't effect the stay at all just taking pictures of the train. Overall a great stay!

We stay here at least once a year. Normally we are in the South park but this year we are in between campers so stayed in one of the cabins. It was a delight! Lost one star on the rating because the matress was super hard. But everything else was perfect. See you next year!

Plastic on the mattress made sleeping cold And clammy.Air cond needs to be dusted and so does the fan/light. Huge dust bunnies. But the room was otherwise, very clean! Yay! Smelled great, bathroom was clean. Towels smelled good. Pleasant staff. Cute cabin. Parking good. I would stay there again. Disappointed that we didn't have time to sit outside by the fire!

We rented the Caboose. Thought it would be a fun change. A great deal of effort was put into the interior décor. Unfortunately looking really neat and being comfortable don’t go hand in hand. The caboose was novel but a little quirky. Saloon doors to the bathroom? No privacy! Chairs as high as the table? No way can you sit and eat. The caboose had its charms but lacked in functionality. Half of the ill placed outlets did not work. Almost no counter space at all. Lighting was nice but dim. The owners should endeavor to stay there a few nights to see what I’m talking about.

The gentleman who runs the KOA was very nice & helpful. If in La Junta again, we would stay with our pop up. I think the unit had not been used in awhile & therefore was not clean. It needed a little vacuuming, dead spider in shower, dead bugs & hair between pillows. I used linens I brought. I had to leave before speaking to the gentleman to convey our concerns. I think it was not used for awhile

Loved the cabin (Blue), but no shade on patio. I love to sit outside. Cabin was perfect for me and my dog. Cute decor on walls. Need a more comfortable bed and heavier blanket. Wifi was very sketchy, couldn’t watch the game. Since tree was cut down, you should put up and umbrella or something. Will stay in orange next time �

Everything was amazing! We stayed in the train caboose and it was truly special and unique. Staff was friendly, grounds were clean, pool was perfect. Highly recommend, especially if you have a train loving kid like me!

Canon was fantastic and priced very well! Staff was courteous and accommodating to changes in our plans. Very nice campground even though noise from trains and highways was present.

By far the best, cleanest, coolest place to say in the La Junta area. There are hotels in the however, this KOA offers cozy cabins with showers. Each site has a grill, a picnic table, and a fire pit. The staff are so helpful. They keep the areas clean and well kept. The pool is a plus to beat the heat.

Very nice cabin, well kept up, peaceful campground. The check-in person was very friendly. We enjoyed our stay! Unfortunately lots of flies around, but we appreciated the fly traps and fly swatter in the cabin.

The staff and accommodations were wonderful. The caboose was so fun to stay in. It was fun to surprise my boys 12 and 14, with staying in a caboose and as they get older, they are harder to impress :) The outdoor area provided privacy and an awesome gas grill that let us cook our pork chops. It was a nice surprise to be provided all utensils & plates. would highly recommend this to everyone.

We had a great stay. The team there was very helpful and friendly. We loved the pool and putt putt. And being able to stay in a renovated caboose was a dream. Very pretty interior, and so many fun details!

Great place to stay! We loved our stay in the cabin, very conveniently located near the bathhouse area and office. The pool was very clean and kids adored the slide.

Coming from the northern plains, this cabin was a sweet welcome: king size bed with linens, utensils to use, convenient details like reading lights and patio seating. We would definitely stay again, and recommend to others.

We stayed one night at the KOA and rented the caboose for the night. It was a really fun experience. They have done a great job decorating the caboose. The bed was comfortable and the space worked out great for the 4 of us. We checked in right after they closed for the evening and it was so easy. We picked up our check in packet and got right into the caboose with no issues. The staff was friendly and they have a small store with a few essentials in case you need to purchase anything. There's a nice playground for the kids. We would definitely stay here again and recommend our friends to check it out.
