Nice quiet stay. The humorous signs in men's room are a nice touch. The cleanliness of the men's room was much appreciated. Would have been nice for the rec room to be open to pass some time now that the nights are getting longer, and the mini golf course looked to me to be thing of the past. All and all a nice place that I would gladly stay in again.

My only complaint is that trees need to be trimmed. Last weekend was our 3rd stay at this campground. Every time we were assigned a site where avoiding low branches were impossible. Scratches our TT every time! Other than that, we have enjoyed our stay there. Convenient to highway and surprisingly not too noisy.

The caboose was novel but a little quirky. Saloon doors to the bathroom? No privacy! Chairs as high as the table? No way can you sit and eat. The caboose had its charms but lacked in functionality. Half of the ill placed outlets did not work. Almost no counter space at all. Lighting was nice but dim. The owners should endeavor to stay there a few nights to see what I’m talking about.

Two of four washers had tarlike substance stuck inside them. One of two very old dryers working. I used the one that worked, but noted the area below dryer where the lint collected was not locked and had about 6 inches of lint buildup inside. The bottom section cover kept falling off when I would shut the dryer door, and it hit my leg twice, leaving a nasty hematoma. Dryers need to be replaced

All was good except we were put in a slot that had trees and we were not able to get satellite service. Not the end of the world but next time I will ask for an unobstructed iew for our dish

All areas of the property were well maintained and staff was friendly. Highly recommend staying at the KOA in La Junta.

Owner Brad is affable and helpful. Park is well maintained and clean but definitely shows signs of age. Staff was polite and helpful. I would suggest new clothes dryers! We would stay there again and wish them well with all the hard work they are putting in to continually improve the park.

There were communication issues from the beginning. Get everything that Brad says in writing because he will forget and change his mind. I was asked to move my RV when I only had 2 weeks left for my stay. Brad wanted to move me in between 2 XL campers and have no privacy. Mine is only 17'. So I asked for a more secluded area, he obliged,, but failed to communicate that he was charging me way more.

Pleasantly surprised! so much better than the picture on the website. We asked for a shady site near the restrooms if possible. 2 big trees shaded an easy pull thru site next to the shower house. At check in I asked about local attractions. The young lady apparently didn't know that the information was inside the welcome brochure and printed info was available across the room. Black mold in shower

Level site friendly staff and clean. This was the complete opposite of the KOA we stayed at Ann Arbor which was filthy with raw sewage in the woman’s toilet.

My wife and I stayed in the caboose. It was amazing! You can sure tell that the owners of this KOA care about the entire facility! It is great!

Very nice park, staff was kind and friendly, the park was clean, kept up nicely and easy to access. I wish I could post the pictures I took of our site. The only negative thing is that they shouldn’t sell certain spots as a grass spot!! There’s maybe a 12” x 12” spot of grass, the entire “yard” is weeds.

The kids and I had such a great time at this KOA! The pool was right by the playground and the pool has a super fun slide. We also did the Mini golf. The campground was very well-kept and beautiful…will stay again FOR SURE!

nice campground! easy setup with pull thru, level, did not need to unhook convenient shopping and eating within walking distance. Only negative- never located anyone in office the next morning.

The gentleman who runs the KOA was very nice & helpful. If in La Junta again, we would stay with our pop up. I think the unit had not been used in awhile & therefore was not clean. It needed a little vacuuming, dead spider in shower, dead bugs & hair between pillows. I used linens I brought. I had to leave before speaking to the gentleman to convey our concerns. I think it was not used for awhile

Loved the cabin (Blue), but no shade on patio. I love to sit outside. Cabin was perfect for me and my dog. Cute decor on walls. Need a more comfortable bed and heavier blanket. Wifi was very sketchy, couldn’t watch the game. Since tree was cut down, you should put up and umbrella or something. Will stay in orange next time �

We visited a couple years ago. The pool was torn apart and over all was not impressed. Now in September 2022, new pool, new sites with cement patio and deluxe sites. Added a caboose as a camping cabin and another train car is in place to be remodeled and able to rent. Good job new owners. Glad to see owners put money into their parks!!!!

La Junta KOA is one of the best sites that we've stayed at. Very friendly staff, very helpful and accommodating, the grounds were beautiful, and not so many rules that it made the stay an eggshell visit. Also, the WIFI is as good or better than our home WIFI. We will stay here again when in the area - thanks.

We stayed one night at the KOA and rented the caboose for the night. It was a really fun experience. They have done a great job decorating the caboose. The bed was comfortable and the space worked out great for the 4 of us. We checked in right after they closed for the evening and it was so easy. We picked up our check in packet and got right into the caboose with no issues. The staff was friendly and they have a small store with a few essentials in case you need to purchase anything. There's a nice playground for the kids. We would definitely stay here again and recommend our friends to check it out.
