The cabin we stayed in was very nice very clean. Everyone was helpful would highly recommend it to anyone especially a family. The kids would love it. The only thing that was bad was TV signal. It kept shutting of and had to reboot 7 or 8 times. But very nice quiet place.

We were coming from Dodge City, Kansas on our way home to Colorado Springs and got tired and decided to stay at this KOA last minute. We were greeted with a bottle of water and a treat for our dog! Very friendly and personable owner! Clean and lovely site for two weary travelers!

Very noisy, we were placed right next the road, even though there were many open spots farther away from the roads. People that live in the city are probably used to the traffic ...we live in the mountains, and are used to the quiet. The creekside b-b-q next door was awesome!!

Reservations, checking in, were all super easy. We stayed in the Cool Caboose. Would definitely do it again! Friendly people, very clean place. Highly recommend.

This was a great place to stay. The Caboose is really interesting! It has heated floors, a great memory-foam mattress, a hammock to lounge in and ladders to an "upstairs" seating area for two. I plan to stay there again next time I pass through La Junta, and I will recommend my sisters take their kids there, too!

We stayed in the caboose! We LOVED it!! It was so well designed/decorated inside! Super clean, fun, and cozy! We stayed in the area to go to Old Bent's Fort and wanted a place not too far from the fort. This KOA was clean, friendly, quiet, and we highly recommend the caboose!!

Great location (within walking distance to Wal-mart and restaurants), very clean and well-kept. Owners and employees are all very friendly and quite helpful. The owner even took the time to give us a tour of their newly remodeled railroad caboose which would be fun to stay in! You have to check that out along with their other ongoing projects! Overall, a very pleasant stay.

Clean bathrooms. Clean sites. They give military discounts only in person. I was unable to use this courtesy due to my arriving late and departing early. Would be nice if they used “I.D. Me” so we could benefit if we aren’t around during business hours. Overall, a nice little campground and I would stay again.

Located walking distance from Walmart. Level sites. Couldn’t access the wifi but full credit to the owner as he did both a speed test and reset of the router to try and solve the problem. Turns out it was probably just lots of streaming occurring as it worked later at night and very early in the morning.

Stayed here a year ago, work underway then has not been completed. It seems like the same detritus on "Recreation Room " porch as was there a year ago. Restrooms, ladies' room, same dead bug in sink for 48 hours and fan extremely dusty. There were high winds our first day there, it seems like a bit more good gravel might hold the dust down better. Even so, still the best CG in town.

We stayed Oct. 21-23 and there were not too many campers at that time of year. Check in was very simple and I paid the balance of our bill with my card on file, very convenient. We also bought in the gift shop and filled propane, and both transactions were charged to the same card and I got email receipts for all transactions. The camp host and workers were very kind and helpful.

Staff was friendly at check in and the converted train caboose we stayed in was so fun and clean. I wasn't aware the train was painted recently and still had plastic on the front side. Wish I had known that before arriving but it didn't effect the stay at all just taking pictures of the train. Overall a great stay!

The place was very clean, showers and restrooms clean the gentlman that checked us in was very nice, gave us tons of information about the area, even called one of his buddies and helped us find a dove hunting area. The woman that works the front desk, she was rude, yelled at us multiple times about our speed, but my truck was at idle, she was nosey, kept watching us around and through the fence.

We stay here at least once a year. Normally we are in the South park but this year we are in between campers so stayed in one of the cabins. It was a delight! Lost one star on the rating because the matress was super hard. But everything else was perfect. See you next year!

Plastic on the mattress made sleeping cold And clammy.Air cond needs to be dusted and so does the fan/light. Huge dust bunnies. But the room was otherwise, very clean! Yay! Smelled great, bathroom was clean. Towels smelled good. Pleasant staff. Cute cabin. Parking good. I would stay there again. Disappointed that we didn't have time to sit outside by the fire!

We only stayed overnight, but we enjoyed our stay in site 44. The gentleman that checked us in was the nicest KOA employee we have ever met. One thing they could fix is to make sure everyone working there is comfortable pumping propane.

We rented the Caboose. Thought it would be a fun change. A great deal of effort was put into the interior décor. Unfortunately looking really neat and being comfortable don’t go hand in hand. The Queen size bed is like a board and it doesn’t breathe and it is almost not sleepable. The lighting is terrible and you can’t see. The sink has the really funky faucet that looks cool but is v

We stayed one night at the KOA and rented the caboose for the night. It was a really fun experience. They have done a great job decorating the caboose. The bed was comfortable and the space worked out great for the 4 of us. We checked in right after they closed for the evening and it was so easy. We picked up our check in packet and got right into the caboose with no issues. The staff was friendly and they have a small store with a few essentials in case you need to purchase anything. There's a nice playground for the kids. We would definitely stay here again and recommend our friends to check it out.
