The camp hosts were really nice. The campground is well maintained. The pool was very enjoyable, especially at 100 degree outdoor temperatures, with chairs located under overhead shades. Very conveniently located close to Walmart for resupplies.

This is a wonderful place. I have no complaints. They have invested a lot in making the experience outstanding. We are excited to again visit this location.

Ironing board & Iron was unable in the laundry. I thought 2.00 was high. Dryers was very reasonable. Highway & trains were noisy, if I knew I'd have asked for a rear site.

Good for a one night stay. The property doesn’t seem to be maintained to normal KOA standards. The man that checked us in was nice.

It was an okay overnight stay. Park was relatively clean and quiet and near food and shopping. Laundry room was dated and small.

I've camped a lot, but never stayed at a koa before. I really liked having the premium tent space where I could leave off my tent’s rainfly. The owner (?) was very helpful and friendly. Grounds were nicely maintained. I wished I could have stayed longer!

Very nice cabin, well kept up, peaceful campground. The check-in person was very friendly. We enjoyed our stay! Unfortunately lots of flies around, but we appreciated the fly traps and fly swatter in the cabin.

Cute campground with all the necessities. Rec room and coffee cart were closed unfortunately, but we enjoyed the new pool very much. The playground is a really nice grassy space and the mini golf is cute. There were new tree plantings and cool train cars on the property.

The staff and accommodations were wonderful. The caboose was so fun to stay in. It was fun to surprise my boys 12 and 14, with staying in a caboose and as they get older, they are harder to impress :) The outdoor area provided privacy and an awesome gas grill that let us cook our pork chops. It was a nice surprise to be provided all utensils & plates. would highly recommend this to everyone.

This is the 3rd or 4th time we have stayed at the La Junta KOA. It is a clean, quiet campground with pull through lots, non pull through lots, lots for tents, and also has cabins. There is a really nice swimming pool, a playground for kids, a fenced dog yard, a BBQ, and a convenience store. We will stay, again, and again!

We were there for only one night. The manager could not have been more hospitable...first rate. Site was level. Grandkids enjoyed the pool and minigolf (though the golf course needs repairs and the mosquitos were bad in that area). Restrooms were very well maintained. Bonus points for the creek that flows through the property, plus the caboose and pullman car that add charm. Convenient location.

We had a great stay. The team there was very helpful and friendly. We loved the pool and putt putt. And being able to stay in a renovated caboose was a dream. Very pretty interior, and so many fun details!

Nice little park. Clean. This is the 2nd time we stayed here when passing through and both times, the front desk staff was about as friendly as friendly can be.

Coming from the northern plains, this cabin was a sweet welcome: king size bed with linens, utensils to use, convenient details like reading lights and patio seating. We would definitely stay again, and recommend to others.

Very considerate, helpful staff. Close to shopping. Repairs are overdo to the dog run gate. Too hot, 106', to wander around and check out all of the facilities

This KOA is an excellent example of what one expects when staying at a KOA. The campground is very clean (especially the bathrooms) and in good repair. The RV sites have a very nice crushed gravel bed and the tent sites have great grass. The best part was the pool which looked brand new. On the hot summer days we stayed there we spent a lot of time in it and the kids loved it. I'd stay again!

The whole campground was slightly overgrown with mosquitoes everywhere, couldn't play mini-golf due to being bit. The cabin was pretty dirty with hairballs and dust balls on the floor. The pool was nice with the slide. The bathhouse showers needed an upgrade.

I love the La Junta KOA. I like the fact that the pool is warm enough to swim in and enjoy. It would be good to see the recreation hall open and be available too. I will be back again

We stayed four days, and thoroughly enjoyed the site, the cabins, the pool, the friendly, and very helpful staff. We loved the balconies, and the variety of housing options. We toured several units, all our questions were graciously answered, and we felt everybody was patient and very accommodating. We will be back, maybe even to stay in the renovated caboose, hopefully, with snow on the ground!

It was really good. Only complaints I have is that the pool was very chlorinated to the point that it was burning our eyes and the putput golf course needs a lot of attention. Hole 7 was missing everything except the hole (no grass, boarders,etc). Other than that it was great and will probably go again.

We loved our cabin and this is the second time we have stayed in it. We are from Kentucky and traveled a long way to get to La Gunta, we called to see if we could cancel our reservation we made that same morning and move it to the following day so it wasn’t going to cause it to push hard and drive 600 miles in one day to get there. He would not try to help us with this and told us it was policy.

We stayed one night at the KOA and rented the caboose for the night. It was a really fun experience. They have done a great job decorating the caboose. The bed was comfortable and the space worked out great for the 4 of us. We checked in right after they closed for the evening and it was so easy. We picked up our check in packet and got right into the caboose with no issues. The staff was friendly and they have a small store with a few essentials in case you need to purchase anything. There's a nice playground for the kids. We would definitely stay here again and recommend our friends to check it out.
