This campground is a hidden gem. The owners are very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. They even checked on us at 10:00 at night the night we got there to make sure we got in ok. Nice, quiet campground that made a good base for everything we wanted to do in the area.

We were in a wooded site and it was nice & private. Liked the campground but there could have been more bathrooms.

On arrival, we were told that we would be charged an extra $14.00 dollars per night because we brought our boat along aand would have to park it in the field! The owner stated he must pay to mow the field, so he needs to charge extra for the boat parking! No where on his advertisement does it say you pay this fee, IT DOES SAY TO BRING YOUR BOAT, for fishing ! That would be $70.00 bucks extra!

Well kept , we didn't use the pool but it looked wonderful! We were in the woods and it was super quiet, not the easiest to maneuver a 30' bumper pull with a long wheel base ford but manageable. Sites were very clean and people were very nice!

Normally when we stay at a KOA we are out in the open. This time the full hookups were in the woods which was different and more private. Nice large lot for our 35 foot travel trailer. They also have nice grassy electric and water hookups out in the open. They have a gorgeous swimming pool. We love to play shuffleboard and they had one.would go back again.

Overnight stay, beautiful wooded sites, clean facilities and staff that is knowledgeable about the area as well as being quite the characters. Stop by and have you a time.

Staff was friendly, but facilities are a bit outdated. Our campsite was tucked into the woods which was appreciated. Campground had everything we needed, but if you're looking for glamping, this is not the place for you.

I liked the campground. It’s off the road and quiet. It’s set in the woods. No stores nearby. Friendly people were a lot of help getting to attractions.

We loved the well shaded private but easy to access spot we were assigned. The staff was friendly and willing to help when needed. Site was clean and tidy.

Wonderful relaxing weekend! Pool was nice and cold and was refreshing during the heat of the day. Folks in the office were so helpful and kind. We'll be back!

We loved our wooded spot with rock fire pit. 15 minute drive to the Kinzua bridge. My tip would be to ask for a full hookup wooded lot. The spots in the front were nice but would be like staying in an open field in a park �

The men in the office are not friendly... actually scary. If we had our kids we would have turned around and went somewhere else. Now the campground is quiet and shaded. Needs some cleaning. It looks run down in spots. The camper sites uneven. We arrived while it was raining and because the site had no stone we had to set up in wet dirt/mud. No customer service like other KOA. WiFi means 3 channel

The campground is very outdated. I’m not sure if the owners just acquired the campgrounds or it just became a KOA. We plan to revisit in about 5 years to see if they make improvements. There weren’t that many campers in our end of the campgrounds.

We stayed 3 days through the week and we’re given quite possibly the worst site there. We were parked on a hill in the grass. The site wasn’t anywhere near level front to back or side to side. You had to keep slushing the water towards the drain while showering. There were other sites empty, why do they always give the small campers the crappy sites ? Are we getting a discount? I think n

We love the location and our site at camp was perfect. The place however, needs some TLC. The office bathrooms are very dated, the building paint could use a refresh, the roads some new gravel, some flowers added. It wasn't welcoming. The staff, other than macie, were not overly friendly or welcoming nor looked clean.

very little to do at the campground and store had very little items. Campsite was difficult to navigate into backing so far through very narrow trees…. Dead trees standing throughout sites and water came out black at first and clogged camper filter!… bathroom facility water was brown and never cleared up so we did not use showers.

Let me start off by saying the people operating the KOA were extremely nice and polite and easy to get along with, that being said I was very surprised that this campground was able to carry the KOA name, it’s more like a older family operated campground with nice people just not KOA expected quality,

The campground is very quiet. We were very happy the owner drove through the campground after a horrific storm to check on all of the campers! I would love to own a campground like this or work at a campground in the mountains like this. It's very peaceful and the owners were great!

Ad far as KOA's go, we were a little disappointed by the lack of amenities given that the weather was so bad the weekend we went. There didn't seem to be a game room, and there wasn't any wifi as implied. BUT, the owners were super friendly and we enjoyed that very much. I would stay again in a pinch and I wouldn't want anyone to not stay there based on my review. Just know this is a rustic camp

When booking online, it said it was the last available spot, then when we arrived the whole camp seemed deserted. It was a very rainy weekend and our son was going to use the swimming pool, but they said they werent opening it due to the excessive rains, which didnt leave a whole lot for him to do. People were friendly and recommended local sites to visit in the area. Camp was clean.

Reservation website indicated only one site left to accommodate our trailer. Initial site assignment way too small and were told to back in a certain direction. Did not work for length of trailer and wheel base. Family member with us assigned much larger site with much smaller unit. Laundry facilities not available, restrooms were filthy throughout much of our stay despite informing the office.

What you would expect from a camp ground. Not the Taj mahal, but it got the job done. Had a woman accuse my 3 year old daughter of calling her daughter the "N" word (which she has never even heard that word before) and the office threatened to remove us from the camp ground. Other than that instance of being called a racist by that woman and the office it was an enjoyable weekend.

This will be my second year fall camping at this KOA. Great place to get away for a weekend especially when I leaves are changing! Staff was extremely friendly and very pleasant this year and last (I only stayed one weekend and it felt like they knew me this year). Some of the sites can be challenging to a new driver, but staff is always more than happy to help get you setup. I would highly recommend as it's family friendly and all around a good time.

Update: I originally gave this place a 4 out 5 4 years ago because of it not being updated... this was the beginning of our travel trailer experiences. After visiting over 20 campgrounds since my original review I am upgrading it 5 stars. The people that own this place are an example of the original campground experience. Quiet. Wooded. Peaceful. Hard working. The real "salt of the earth" people. These place is a piece of heaven. Do not give notice to the bad reviews. Those reviews are from people looking for the galmping experience. This is not that. This is camping. Go enjoy it. Thank you for having us. We will return. God bless. Original review: The only reason I'm giving it 4 and not 5 is because it has not been updated in a long time. Other than that, everything is in good order. Clean campground. Exactly what a camping trip should feel like. Middle of the woods. Gorgeous. So isolated that you feel a little nervous in the pitch dark woods. Great experience
