Due to a lot of rain in the area recently, the majority.of the campsites were extremely wet. Not the owners fault - but there were ruts throughout the campground. The weather improved and the site dried up some. We love KOA's but this particular campground could use some improvements. The bathhouse was clean and well kept (which is always a plus).

Friendly people from check in to leaving. Quit spot off the main road and not far at all from all the most visited places of the Alleghany. Definitely a great place to stay

Arrived on Friday and check in at the office they showed us on the map where our site was informed us we would have to pull down one road and back down to our site which was not set up for a 40' 5th wheel to get into easily but I got it in there on Saturday the campground called wanted to know if I was still coming found out I was booked on tow sites one under Bill and one under William

I will never stay here again or recommend to a friend. I understand that you cannot predict the weather, but they parked us in a literal swamp when there were other spots (also full hookup) that were dry. They didn't open the pool one day, even though it was sunny and warm in the afternoon. There were dead moles floating in the pool. The staff seemed more interested in smoking than helping.

i have an expectation of KOA's. This one was a bit off. No one wearing a yellow KOA shirt- electrical system not up to code, odd odor in the store- campsite drainage was terrible. I do appreciate the staff relocating us to a better site, would've preferred a full hookup which were clearly available. Facilities very outdated- broken doors in bathroom, showers need an upgrade.

Staff was friendly. But weather was a major issue. Campgrounds completely flooded, no drainage, no gravel on roads. This campgrounds needs major site work to improve drainage system.

Staff was great! We were running super late and wasn't going to make check in so I called to let them know. A nice gentleman from the campsite met us when we got there and offered us a pull through so we did not have to deal with finding our site super late and getting set up. It was a super nice gesture and was greatly appreciated.

This campground is well maintained, the sites are beautiful and very large, there are sites for every camping experience that you are looking for and the staff is extremely accommodating and family focused. It is for these reasons that Kinzua East is our go to campground.

Quiet, enjoyable getaway. The hosts were great & we enjoyed some nice conversation during check-in. They made sure we were settled on our site and offered assistance getting backed in and situated.

Great Mom and Pop Camp Ground! Very nice people and more than willing to help out us new camper owners. No WiFi to speak of and only two bars of cell but that keeps you focused on where you are! I had a great site with plenty of room. This is a more rustic campground and I loved it. Thanks to the Hosts!

The staff was friendly and willing to help us move up to a site that fit our rigs need better. 30 amp to a 50 amp. The campground is very quiet and peaceful. It is an older campground and could use some upgrades. It is centrally located to many activities in the Allegheny national Forest.

The only thing that made us unhappy was loud, partying neighbors! Did not know there to turn them in as it went on past 3am! Otherwise stay was great!

No laundry service but advertised.. Owners were very helpful. Facility beginning to show its age. Sites were nice size. Phone service limited but that is a result of lack of communication towers in National Forest.p

The owners are super nice and accommodating! We have a fifth wheel so we didn’t need to use the shower room. It was quite and relaxing. Perfect for our needs. Exactly what we wanted.

We enjoyed the trees, the peace and quiet, and the friendly and kind staff. The area is beautiful; the fishing was amazing. If you're a hiker, this is paradise! The only issue was no laundry facilities working, which would've been an issue if we had been staying longer. Fix that and everything would be perfect!

Very nice owners and employees. My confusion comes in with why the cost of a KOA that is so remote be such a high price. Definitely not big rig friendly with no pull through. It was tough getting our 41 foot rig in the back in.The last thing is there was no laundry facilities 20 miles back and forth to bradford with a dually. Fuel prices Really! Really? Wifi was impossible to do minor things.

One-night stay, off-season, campground empty except for one late pull-in. Basically a big, green, mostly level mown lawn. Bathroom facilities were some distance from us so we used our own, not wanting to tromp 100 yards across damp grass in the dark. We wanted WiFi to catch up on things, but only internet/WiFi was at the little patio area behind the office. Staff was nice. We slept well.

My only problem was with the check in office and store. The excessive cigarette smoke smell was very offensive. How ever the staff was extremely friendly and helpful with area activities.

When arrived the guy with the beard was REALLY rude. I told him that other KOAs had given me a tent spot w/120 volts, he said no you cant have it and that I could leave. I asked another spot and he said yes he could give me one and started walking away. I said excuse me are you going to give a spot, he said again you can leave. I told him again I will take another spot. He said wait, after got in

First of all, the staff was excellent!!! We had a wonderful time talking to them about the area. They gave us an AWESOME dinner suggestion for the area. Next, the bath house. I wouldn't even call the back bath house a bath house. It was like a large comfy full bath that we have at home. And it was SUPER clean! Finally, the location was superb! Will definitely be back and highly recommended!

We were promised a full hookup drive thru site that they didn't even have. The guys refused to talk to my wife...chauvinistic to say the least!! The campground is in the woods and was pretty and quiet. It can use some help with wider roads, trim trees and updates.

High price, no amenities. Had to back travel trailer couple hundred feet to get in site. Muddy and so many trees it is dark all day long. Smoky registration building. Not a great experience.

Are stay was ok. Staff was friendly. But under staffed. Campground is in desperate need of remodeling and upgrades. Nothing has been done in years. Some nice sized dead questionable trees need taken down. Met some people there that said they stayed there years ago and it was way nicer. Have stayed in cheaper KOAs that were cheaper and way nicer.

My site was in front of the property & was perfect for a quiet weekend. I wandered around further back and the bathrooms were pretty bad. 1/2 toilets was plugged & smell (through my mask) was brutal. Not sure if it’s because it is far from the office, but definitely NOT up to the KOA standards.

This will be my second year fall camping at this KOA. Great place to get away for a weekend especially when I leaves are changing! Staff was extremely friendly and very pleasant this year and last (I only stayed one weekend and it felt like they knew me this year). Some of the sites can be challenging to a new driver, but staff is always more than happy to help get you setup. I would highly recommend as it's family friendly and all around a good time.

Update: I originally gave this place a 4 out 5 4 years ago because of it not being updated... this was the beginning of our travel trailer experiences. After visiting over 20 campgrounds since my original review I am upgrading it 5 stars. The people that own this place are an example of the original campground experience. Quiet. Wooded. Peaceful. Hard working. The real "salt of the earth" people. These place is a piece of heaven. Do not give notice to the bad reviews. Those reviews are from people looking for the galmping experience. This is not that. This is camping. Go enjoy it. Thank you for having us. We will return. God bless. Original review: The only reason I'm giving it 4 and not 5 is because it has not been updated in a long time. Other than that, everything is in good order. Clean campground. Exactly what a camping trip should feel like. Middle of the woods. Gorgeous. So isolated that you feel a little nervous in the pitch dark woods. Great experience
