Disappointing stay. We were charged $64 extra for our 2 kids that were already paid for. When I asked about overcharge I was told it was correct. Playground equipment was old and a little scary. The site was not ideal. Overall upkeep of the campground was lacking. The owners were and staff were friendly.

The staff were great. The campground needs some TLC. I love trees but sometimes they need to be cut because they are dead or a safety hazard. We had a great spot but there was a tree that made it difficult to get out. The bathroom near our site was ok. The toilet was cracked and the seat moved. On the other side the toilet was not attached to the floor. It is basic camping with a pool.

Very nice people as always!! Arrived late and the owner was there for us to show us where we needed to go! Highly recommend this place!

This was my fifth stay at Kinzua East KOA and I will be going back next year. The owner/operators are very friendly and helpful. If you are looking for lots of bells and whistles this campground is not for you but if you want a peaceful and laid back camping experience, then Kinzua East KOA may be just what you are looking for. Thanks Bob and Ann for a great week. See you next summer.

Quiet, woody and peaceful campground. Off the grid for technology which is fine for us! Large site and not too difficult to pull in with our medium sized trailer. Very friendly staff. Nature all around the area of the Allegheny Forest. Would definitely visit again.

Campground is great. Simple. No wifi or cell signal. Staff was helpful and full of information! Staff cares about the campground. Great spot to explore Kinzua, Allegheny reservoir and national park, or Bradford, PA - home of Zippo.

This KOA leaves a lot to be desired. When we got there the pool was green which they said was a pump problem so I was ok with that BUT there was literally nothing else for the kids to do. The basketball hoop was beyond repair. The volleyball net was shredded. The playground was awful. We made the best of it and of course our family always makes it fun, but I would not stay there again. Do

VERY personable couple! Very well maintained campground in an area that offered many options for the site seeing. The kids have asked to return even though they were disappointed that the pool was not yet open.

LOVED this KOA!! No WIFI service, spotty cell service, that's my speed!! I came here to camp, not to be connected! Our site was in the trees and it was great!!

Everyone in the office was so helpful!!! Just my husband and I this time- we will bring the grandkids back here though. We enjoyed the clean grounds, fire pit and friendly environment!

Very nice relaxed atmosphere. Nice treed and secluded sites. Very friendly host who suggested we visit the sky walk before we set up camp, worked out perfectly!

Je pense qu'ils n'étaient pas prêt à recevoir ds clients. 1. A l'entrée de office ca sent mauvais, j'ai pensé cigarettes et renfermés. 2. Aucun poubelle pour sacs à chiens, ni sacs. 3. This is our third year at Kinzua East KOA. The campground Is a beautiful atmosphere of woods, hiking trails and points if interest it’s well taken care if and sites are well maintained and spacious. I highly recommend a visit

The grounds are very nice, but our campsite was very narrow and we had to back in. The man in the office that checked us in was not very helpful/friendly and had it not been for a very nice lady that helped us out in the campsite, we would not have easily found our site, nor been able to back in it. We are used to KOA being very hospitable, but cannot say that about this one.

While it was quiet (fall camping) the spaces looked really to each other and they were mostly grass. There are cheaper options nearby that are prettier and have more privacy.

Worst experience at KOA ever. Website states WIFI. This would allow me to work. NO Wifi or Cell service, overhead wires nailed to trees, bathrooms broken, filthy and disgusting. We booked for two weeks, after one day, we told them we would be leaving. They refused to process our cancellation, refused to provide a refund and then when they did give back 1/2 our money, they threatened us.

CAMPERS BEWARE! Broken moldy unsanitary restrooms in back campground. Electrical not to code. Absolutely no WiFi/cell despite website stating WiFi available. No stated alternate refund policy on website during registration or at check in but claimed they could keep our full two week funds and then claiming they were being kind to offer us 1/2 refund. Threatened to keep it all if we disagreed.

This is a hidden gem! Unlike other KOA’s this is nestled in the trees and brings function to nature. The staff are friendly but mostly Mary who goes above and beyond!

We took our two grandkids with us to rest out our new camper. The kids enjoyed playing basketball and volleyball. We took them for a walk around the campground and into the woods. They found a tpee made from branches and leaves. The camp host were very friendly as was other campers. Great KOA, we go there at least 2 times a year.

The weather was rainy and our site in the trees was very gloomy and dark. The people are awesome but the facility is tired.

Thing were not taken care of. General maintenance is very lacking. The back restroom/showers were never cleaned or visited by KOA personnel during our 4 night stay. On a plus side, the KOA hosts were very nice people.

Fantastic staff. Clean sites and restrooms. No Wi-Fi but you are in the Allegheny National Forest and Wi-Fi doesn’t really exist. If you want peace and quiet away from civilization, great place.

I think this place would be much more enjoyable, with the company of others. The pool was beautiful.The basketball half court was pretty cracked up...as was the shuffleboard court. Playgroind was rough.The map said to ask about permanents....which I would consider. None available.My site was beautiful...and if I'd have the time to meet the other permanent I'd enjoy it alot.Staff was super friendly

This will be my second year fall camping at this KOA. Great place to get away for a weekend especially when I leaves are changing! Staff was extremely friendly and very pleasant this year and last (I only stayed one weekend and it felt like they knew me this year). Some of the sites can be challenging to a new driver, but staff is always more than happy to help get you setup. I would highly recommend as it's family friendly and all around a good time.

Update: I originally gave this place a 4 out 5 4 years ago because of it not being updated... this was the beginning of our travel trailer experiences. After visiting over 20 campgrounds since my original review I am upgrading it 5 stars. The people that own this place are an example of the original campground experience. Quiet. Wooded. Peaceful. Hard working. The real "salt of the earth" people. These place is a piece of heaven. Do not give notice to the bad reviews. Those reviews are from people looking for the galmping experience. This is not that. This is camping. Go enjoy it. Thank you for having us. We will return. God bless. Original review: The only reason I'm giving it 4 and not 5 is because it has not been updated in a long time. Other than that, everything is in good order. Clean campground. Exactly what a camping trip should feel like. Middle of the woods. Gorgeous. So isolated that you feel a little nervous in the pitch dark woods. Great experience
