Worse KOA ever. Woman running the place is very unpleasant....nothing inviting about her. Their email address doesn't work and that's your fault NOT theirs. I want a 100% refund, HORRIBLE. Never refunded for first night, emailed them to cancel and did not stay night 2 either because of the customer service AND the cabin being in what felt like a backyard or overflow. NOTHING good about this.

Upon arrival, the place was basically empty which was unnerving. I have been to many koas, and never had never seen anything as desolate. I checked in, the store was not welcoming . One of the owners had put the heat on (it was August) and basically said we couldn’t turn it off so it was way too hot . The cabin was filthy, had to clean everything! Checked out early, will not be going back….

The camp host were great and answered all our questions. This is was an off the road place to stay and the neighbor campers were friendly and gave us information about the area.

I have stayed in KOA’s since I can remember. The campground was not very full at all. Of all of the cabins we could have stayed in, we were located right next to the road. When we asked to move to another further into the campground. We were told no unless we were staying for more than one night. Also, the restroom walls looked like they were about to fall in and just all around in need of TLC

This is a nice, quiet campground that's close to Jakes Rocks and Kinzua area of the Allegheny National Forest. My girlfriend and I stay here with our dog whenever we travel to the area. The people running the campground have always been present, friendly, and accommodating (they've allowed us to pick our own camping cabin a few times). And the facilities are clean and readily accessible.

Called enroute to check cabin availability and one was available.Got there, checked in and was assigned a cabin right next to a cabin occupied by a family with a dog.Nearly every cabin was vacant! Why not allow some separation? We asked to move, which they allowed.Firewood is overpriced at $10.50 a bundle, roughly 5-6 pieces. Bathrooms closed from 10-11a.m. for cleaning!Why so early! RETRAIN MGT!

Stay was pleasant but playground and some facilities need updated. Also there needs to be more bathrooms then just 2 for amount of cabins. We would stay again but not for an extended period of time. Great for a night or two.

Overall good experience! Suggest allowing checkout a little earlier than 9am. I would suggest 8am to accommodate early risers.

Serious health issue with your toilets. They are NOT bolted down and shift when you sit on them. After you get up, there is toilet water on the floor from the shifting toilet! Disgusting and a health hazard. No Dropbox for early departures and no deposit back on my key rental (just $10, but still). Maybe I'm just spoiled from other KOA's.

When I looked at the koa site in PA it didn't have any pictures of the inside of the cabin or where the bathrooms where located so I was a little worried.But to my surprise it was very close to the cabins and there was running water pretty much through out the camp site.the staff was amazing and the pool looked to be brand-new.the inside of the cabins where cute as heck.just enough for glamping.

The cabin was not clean. This cabin i bare bones. Not even a trash can. We were in the woods and due to no ac in the cabin, slept with the windows open and the screen on the larger window had large holes in it. Therefore, we spent the night with bugs in the cabin. We have stayed in MANY KOA rustic cabins. This one was VERY DISAPPOINTING.

Nice and quiet, loved the pool. Our Kamp cabin was extremely musty smelling. It needs either AC, or a good dehumidifier, as the fans don't cut it.

This is the 8th time we have brought friends and family here. Started a long time ago with Gary and Mary who sadly have left us. Now we have Bob and Ann and Gary to take care of us. A great spot up in the Allegheny Forest with great hiking and nice golf course close by. We will be back. Dean

Cons: I have found much more friendly hosts in other KOAs. Our cabin smell musty when we arrived. One of the two bathrooms was very dirty. The pool wasn't Olympic size as written in the map, store didn't have much choise Pros: Beautiful sites, next to Kinzua beach.

My husband and I stayed in a basic cabin and it was exactly what we needed! we slept like a rock! The bathrooms and camp grounds were very clean!

PROS: We enjoyed our stay at the Deluxe Cabin (with Kitchen and Full Bath) for 2 nights. We loved the small patio and enjoyed the nature sitting here. The double bed and the bunk beds are comfortable. The kitchen had suffeciant plates, spoon, cups, pots and pans. The cabin is spacious. CONS: 1. Can open only one window which has net for ventilation purpose. 2. No Smoke or CO detectors inside.

Numerous issues: 1) The restrooms were not cleaned or resupplied during our entire stay. 2) The heat did not work in my cabin. 3) The owners were in a dry vehicle during a downpour while I was walking down the narrow road, yet they thought it was a good idea to pull up next to me and stop, causing me to have to walk through the thick brush along the road.

We were unable to stay due to the condition of the bathrooms. The sewer gas smell made me throw up. My husband called the office and were told that there was nothing wrong with the bathrooms. We would appreciate a full refund.

The KOA website states that all koa deluxe cabins have air conditioning. I emailed the Kinzua koa twice prior to arrival asking about a/c and received no response. Upon arrival we found there is no a/c. This is very frustrating when the website says there will be and it's 90+ degrees out. Charcoal grills at each site were alo advertised but none were present so we had to purchase a grill.

Mice in cabin, filthy dirty, bugs of all kinds, bird's nest on porch light which means poop, filthy dirty KOA with horrific drunk owners. Worst campground in 50 years of camping.

Excessive amount of biting insects; erroneous store transactions (charged bank $817 for ice and wood, then ARGUED about it); charged $50 damage fee for spilling grease on porch (5 inch circle); charged a key deposit. Hung up on us when trying to ask about the charges. Never again.

Very muddy need more gravel, beds at the The Kamp were horrible like sleeping on plywood can have a little more comfort to them. Very musty smelling and saw some mold in shower.

This will be my second year fall camping at this KOA. Great place to get away for a weekend especially when I leaves are changing! Staff was extremely friendly and very pleasant this year and last (I only stayed one weekend and it felt like they knew me this year). Some of the sites can be challenging to a new driver, but staff is always more than happy to help get you setup. I would highly recommend as it's family friendly and all around a good time.

Update: I originally gave this place a 4 out 5 4 years ago because of it not being updated... this was the beginning of our travel trailer experiences. After visiting over 20 campgrounds since my original review I am upgrading it 5 stars. The people that own this place are an example of the original campground experience. Quiet. Wooded. Peaceful. Hard working. The real "salt of the earth" people. These place is a piece of heaven. Do not give notice to the bad reviews. Those reviews are from people looking for the galmping experience. This is not that. This is camping. Go enjoy it. Thank you for having us. We will return. God bless. Original review: The only reason I'm giving it 4 and not 5 is because it has not been updated in a long time. Other than that, everything is in good order. Clean campground. Exactly what a camping trip should feel like. Middle of the woods. Gorgeous. So isolated that you feel a little nervous in the pitch dark woods. Great experience
