It was a wonderful stay at the Kinzua Koa which is in the Allegheny Forest. A beautiful stay with lots of nature to be had, Gary, the host is a very knowledgeable person of the area and about staying at KoAs. T will be back soon, Pastor Bruce Anthony (O: PS I will continue to keep Mary in our prayers

It`s a beautiful and quiet location. Not any noise of traffic or train. Very helpful people. But the restrooms were not clean...

The campground itself is good, proprietors were friendly. The problem is the neighbour across the road from the front camping area. They have sever dogs who roam lose. Any time we went anywhere near the road they barked incessantly and rushed across at us. One morning one of their larger dogs was roaming on the campground. Maybe putting up some wire mesh fencing will keep them out? Otherwise good.

No sewer even though it said full hookup. My big concern was an extra charge on my credit card. When I questioned it, all he said was that he’d remove it. When I checked my credit card, there were two more pending charges on it. No credit yet. It makes me very suspicious and I wonder how often this happens here. Wouldn’t stay again.

OUR SITE WAS VERY NICE AND SO WERE THE INDIVIDUALS RUNNING THE CAMPGROUNDS. WE HAD A VERY ENJOYABLE STAY. HOWEVER, MANY OF THE CABINS IN THE PARK WERE NOT WELL MAINTAINED ON THE OUTSIDE. ONE SET OF BATHROOMS WERE IN POOR CONDITION. THE FLOORS AND SINKS WERE DIRTY, THE TOILET WAS LOOSE, AND RUSTY WATER IN TOILET BOWL.

Beautiful campground! When we arrived, it had been rainy & they were kind enough to put us on a premium site because the site they reserved for us was wet. We really appreciated that!

I absolutely love this campground, and the owner and his son. They are amazing. Super nice �. The cabins and bathrooms are really nice, clean. I've stayed in the deluxe with kitchen, and the standard without kitchen but allows pets. Location is close to Bradford, KinZua, and McKean :), only about 15- 20 min from restaurants, Walmart, Goodwill, etc :)

The campground was great with friendly staff and close to the attractions. The main building and bathhouse was what we expected from a KOA facility. The only other bathhouse located a distance from the main office left much to be desired. The two toilets were loose from the floor. The one shower was a handicap shower stall but no ramp. They were never cleaned during the week we were there.

Our stay was very nice and peaceful, we had our first family vacation there and I'm glad we did! The campsite was very nice, we rented a cabin which was very nice and the bathroom facilities were nice and clean. We enjoyed our visit, just wish there were more for the kids to do to stay busy but other than that it was a great trip!

You could read a book through the toilet paper. Campground has drainage issues when wet. Bathrooms were clean toilet and shower stalls were small. Mirror over sink didn't work unless I was on my knees.

Great campground, very hospitable and friendly hard working hosts! Gave good local recommendations and tips.Very accommodating for our 32 ft toy hauler. Beautiful to be in Allegheny forests, plenty to see and do in area. Camp is close to lots of Mountain biking and 4 Wheeler Trails, Wildlife, motorcycling, the Kinzua train bridge, fishing, food and drink in the area. We will be back!

We were there for 6 days and totally loved our site. The staff was friendly and very helpful. For peace and quiet, this is the place to go. Your camp has become one of our favorite KOA's. We will for be coming back. Thank you for a great stay.

We stayed at the large cabin/cottage. Size was great. Everything smelled so musty and dank, however, that it was not enjoyable. All the carpet should be ripped out and replaced with wood flooring. For $200/night, I expected better. Will not come back.

Not your typical KOA. Overpriced for what you get. Not well maintained. I expect higher standards for a KOA. Playground was in rough shape. Pool was ok but outdated. Random mobile homes and private houses in the middle of the campground are odd. It is quiet at night. 1pm listed as check out time but then told by owners it was 11am and they had my site reserved for someone else at 1pm.

We enjoyed our stay. The owner was very nice and accommodating. We were traveling with a 44 foot toyhauler and a dodge dually. Our lot was spacious. The playground was adorable and the pool very clean.

We booked well in advance and asked to be located with fellow campers. We were told we were but once we got there we were spread all over the campground. There a Was also an issue where we were all charged different amounts for our same stay. Pool doesn’t open until noon. I would never stay here again.

We were pleasantly surprised by how accommodating the koa in Kinzua east was. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The older gentlemen working the desk was extremely nice but very very slow, the younger guy is sketchy and down right rude. The bathrooms (near the cabins) were a disgrace with dirty mops left in them. Men’s toilet tips when using. People seem to live there full-time. Lots of seasonal campers as well. AWFUL! NOT WORTH THE $$$! A shame! Beautiful grounds! Expected more from a KOA!

The campground itself seems to be maintained pretty good-- however, fire pits need to be cleaned out--they were pretty well filled up with ashes. We camp with a large group of people each with their own camper and when all of us made our reservations, we all requested to be together which means side by side or back to back or at least near each other. We weren't together--we were scattered about.

My family and I had planned for a two night stay at this campground, however we left after only one night! How this campground became a part of the KOA Holidays is a total mystery to me! The restrooms and bathrooms were filthy and two out of three baths (women) didn’t work. Campground has a lot of seasonal campers, which makes the place seem desserted. NOT a place I would ever recommend!

This is the second time we stayed at the Kinzua East KOA. Just like the first time, the owners/staff were very friendly and welcoming. I called ahead and requested the same site we had on our prior stay and they accommodated us with no problems. The campground is neat and well cared for. The restrooms were clean. This is a very quiet, peaceful campground. We look forward to visiting again!

We do not recommend this campground. It is not well maintained, the sites are very muddy when it rains. The bathrooms are dirty and the toilets are not very well secured to the floor. The owner and son are rude, vulgar, (used the "F" word; made vulgar jesters,); and are obviously not interested in customer service, and could care less about repeat clients. Never going there again!! . KOA respond

They need to spend alot more time on maintenance. Picnic tables are rotten and broken. The sites are full of last year's leaves. Not impressed

We are in a class c motor with no other vehicle. We found the site to mess after the rain and puddles of mud to drive through in and out of the camp sites. The showers seemed run down and the one bath house nearest our site (I think the only one for that area was dirty with a nasty mop near the shower. If you are looking level pads of gravel or concrete this is not your place.

This KOA has wonderfully large, heavily wooded sites in the back section. The family members who own/run the campground are friendly and extremely helpful. The only thing that keeps us from giving 5 stars is the state of the bathrooms. The ones by the office haven't been upgraded since we camped here in the 90s. The ones in the new wooded section are not properly cleaned (dirty mop left on floor).

This will be my second year fall camping at this KOA. Great place to get away for a weekend especially when I leaves are changing! Staff was extremely friendly and very pleasant this year and last (I only stayed one weekend and it felt like they knew me this year). Some of the sites can be challenging to a new driver, but staff is always more than happy to help get you setup. I would highly recommend as it's family friendly and all around a good time.

Update: I originally gave this place a 4 out 5 4 years ago because of it not being updated... this was the beginning of our travel trailer experiences. After visiting over 20 campgrounds since my original review I am upgrading it 5 stars. The people that own this place are an example of the original campground experience. Quiet. Wooded. Peaceful. Hard working. The real "salt of the earth" people. These place is a piece of heaven. Do not give notice to the bad reviews. Those reviews are from people looking for the galmping experience. This is not that. This is camping. Go enjoy it. Thank you for having us. We will return. God bless. Original review: The only reason I'm giving it 4 and not 5 is because it has not been updated in a long time. Other than that, everything is in good order. Clean campground. Exactly what a camping trip should feel like. Middle of the woods. Gorgeous. So isolated that you feel a little nervous in the pitch dark woods. Great experience
