Other than the loud-mouth, inconsiderate drunks yelling half the night the campground is on par with most KOA’s around the area.

Was greeted at night by staff and was told if I didn't like the site I could go home . And was over charged for the stay. Staff member smelled like booze. Overall nice campground. Wasnt alot of people. If you need a quick spot to park. This is a good place.

The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I liked that it was close to many things to do. The pool was very cold and the shuffleboard courts were not maintained which made playing very difficult. However, the cabin was clean and located close to the bathrooms which was great with younger children. My children are already asking when we can return.

Staff was helpful with nearby amenities. Bathroom cleanliness was inconsistent (one side decent, other unattended), cabin was obviously not cleaned between visits. Cabin was comfortable, appreciated the shelving, firepit, picnic table and porch. Swing was very nice addition. Campground was nice and quiet. Not the best or worst stay, would probably stay again.

We had a great time. Nice staff and campgrounds. We had terrible neighbors that couldn't control their kids, liquor or how loud they were, even past quiet time. When asked to be quiet by others, they ignored them. We had to keep ac on and freeze just to sleep cause of the noise. Id recommend an earlier quiet time and find a way to enforce it like other campgrounds. I think no alcohol may help

Warm hospitality from longterm staff and safe COVID precautions with check in. Remote location amongst the tall trees but close by open field gave prime stargazing with clear dark nights sky. Nice long term tenants nearby. Clean bath and restroom house nearby. Spot could use a gravel refresh to lessen dust and dirt.

It rained off and on during our stay which didn’t bother me at all. What I was displeased with is the two inches of water that stayed all around our site the whole time. Some gravel would do wonders at this campground.

The bathrooms were disgusting. There was NO soap and when I asked the cleaning person will be in at 11. Late but finally got a little soap was empty by evening. The bathrooms had cob webs and showers were never cleaned in a COVID world this is scary. The campsite was a swamp. There was no gravel or fire ring..a couple of rocks. There was a family screaming until 3am.Check in was rude & incompetent

The Campground staff were very friendly and accommodating. The cabin we rented was clean and well-kept. I assumed that the cabin came equipped with air conditioning and a grill and was disappointed when we arrived and neither of those amenities for present. But to the campgrounds credit those were not showing on the website. the shower stalls we're small which made showering uncomfortable.

We had a very nice experience for our first time staying here. Our camp site couldn’t have been any better! It was very large, we had plenty of room for our corn hole boards trucks and trailer w/jet ski attached. They were very accommodating! Thank you to Gary for all his knowledge and help.

The gentleman at the front desk was very kind and helpful. The pool was well maintained and the campground quiet. I gave our stay 3 stars because bathrooms were not cleaned daily and our site had very little to no gravel and no grass. Therefore when it rained our site was a mud pit.

The staff is unfriendly and almost rude. They made me feel like I was doing them a favor to stay there. They refuse to install a simple Covid barrier so you have to speak through a small opening. That also means the campground store is CLOSED. The facilities are dated with little sign of active maintenance. Beware the pool deck and playground wood lack of treatment. Splinters and cracks.

Wehad the place practically to ourselves which was great, except they closed the office early, so if we needed anything like firewood we were out of luck. The campsite description that I reserved specifically stated we’d have a shady site, but they gave us a very sunny site and denied our request for swapping sites even though the place was empty! Seemed unwilling to accommodate.

Rather than restrict number of people and require masks they just locked down the store. Placemat type map and a point to from the check in person. Thought pull-through with full hookup would include septic, it did not. Online site said only our pull through we got was available to us for our dates yet campground was disturbingly empty. Seemed more like “any old campground” than a KOA.

Koa was remote, which we loved. The only draw back was that the bathrooms needed to be cleaned more often and updated. There were times when there was no soap or paper towels, which during covid, one would think this would be an important issue. Otherwise we loved it.

It's a "in the woods" type camp ground. We enjoyed our site, bathhouse was dated but clean. It's not one of KOA's glamor camp ground its basic and served our needs while using Kinzua rec areas

We arrived later than planned in the rain, the owners (Gary & Bob I think) saw that we were having a hard time & they came right to our rescue. After helping us get turned around they put us on an easy pull through site, even helped us get hooked up, went above and beyond. Very impressed and grateful for their help. Bathrooms were very clean much nicer than many we have seen. Definitely recommend

Awesome cabin. We only needed a place to sleep. We had activities planned and places to go and see. The cabin was small but perfect for the two of us and our gear. It was peaceful and we enjoyed just sitting on the porch looking at the stars! We are already talking about our next trip.

Site was very unlevel, at least 6 inches from back of coach to the front. Womens bath house had at least 2 days where there were 2 toilets clogged, had to go inform the management even though it was after 9AM. There were sites that were difficult to back into, yet no one from the office assisted.

The men at the office were not very welcoming by any means. It was a rainy weekend, therefore the ground was saturated and very swampy to put a tent on. Not many trees near the tent sites made it very difficult to hang rain coverings over tent. No wood chips or specific spot for tent location at the site. Fire pit was not cleaned out and had cigarettes all through it that we had to pick out.

Site was very uneven and full of ruts - no gravel. Had to dig to make steps go down. Cig. butts everywhere. Fire pit not cleaned. Had to back my 34' trailer down a road past 5 sites with no staff guide (came to site after I was in to "help"). Staff not friendly. Entire office and store closed off had to yell through plexi. Laundry seemed closed.

Our first time at a KOA campground - and we were pleased with the location and the amenities. It is an easy drive to all of the local attractions and hiking trails. We have a small teardrop camper and the hookups were quick, easy, and reliable. We needed to use the bathhouse (do not have one in our camper) - they are rustic but acceptable. The hot water was plentiful! Would stay here again.

Should have told us ahead of time that laundry was not available. Bathrooms were nasty and not cleaned our entire stay. Campfire ring was full of ashes and we had to clean it our ourselves. Advertised WIFI, but was not told it would not be available at our site. Teenager has homework.

The bathrooms were not cleaned the entire 3 nights I stayed. They were unsanitary, which would be a concern under normal circumstances, but is a serious health and safety issue during a pandemic. When I asked when they are cleaned I was told “it varies“ and they seemed put off that I asked. I have always had positive experiences at the many KOAs I have stayed at. This one was the exception.

It's not a nad KOA but it could definitely use some upgrades! For instance, the shower curtains don't close all the way and your stuff ends up getting wet. It is very peaceful though.

Very hard to navigate tight corners, narrow roads. If you were to meet another camper you would be in trouble. If you meet another car,truck you have to back up or get off the road way. Very difficult and tight corners. I would not recommend this to anyone.

The elderly owner of the KOA was particularly rude/grumpy. We bought a wagon load of wood and he corrected his employee over a single log "extra". There was confusion on the site which I confirmed i reserved the wrong site to which they were worked to correct that I was appreciative of. Overall this KOA was very basic compared to what I've come to expect from KOA though this was not a KOA Holiday

Bathrooms were a little dated and tired. Location was good for what we wanted to do. Office personnel was friendly and helpful. Our stay was pleasant.

I have had two enjoyable weeks here the last two summers. The full hook up sites are in the woods and some are a challenge to back into. There is no wi-fi, cable TV, restaurant, etc... but the campground is clean, quiet and relaxing. Being located in the National Forest, there is lots of hiking and nature experiences. This a rustic campground for those seeking a peaceful camping experience.

This will be my second year fall camping at this KOA. Great place to get away for a weekend especially when I leaves are changing! Staff was extremely friendly and very pleasant this year and last (I only stayed one weekend and it felt like they knew me this year). Some of the sites can be challenging to a new driver, but staff is always more than happy to help get you setup. I would highly recommend as it's family friendly and all around a good time.

Update: I originally gave this place a 4 out 5 4 years ago because of it not being updated... this was the beginning of our travel trailer experiences. After visiting over 20 campgrounds since my original review I am upgrading it 5 stars. The people that own this place are an example of the original campground experience. Quiet. Wooded. Peaceful. Hard working. The real "salt of the earth" people. These place is a piece of heaven. Do not give notice to the bad reviews. Those reviews are from people looking for the galmping experience. This is not that. This is camping. Go enjoy it. Thank you for having us. We will return. God bless. Original review: The only reason I'm giving it 4 and not 5 is because it has not been updated in a long time. Other than that, everything is in good order. Clean campground. Exactly what a camping trip should feel like. Middle of the woods. Gorgeous. So isolated that you feel a little nervous in the pitch dark woods. Great experience
