Campground Reviews

Large campground.. little confusing at first. Our sunset view site was thru a cabin and some trees, but could walk to see it over the lake. Sites were close and a little to short for our 42 foot 5th wheel. Everyone was super nice and helpful. Tons of things for kids to do. Town is about 20 minutes away for fuel for vehicles. Good thing the weather was perfect.

Great lake view, beautiful sunsets, a lot to do for kids. My only complaints: 1) seriously consider adding a heating element to the pool to be used in the cooler months. The water is cool/cold and the enclosure alone doesn’t warm it enough when doors and windows are left open especially at night allowing for any heat to be lost. 2) lower the golf cart rental by at least half as most sat unuse

Prizer Point has so many things to do to keep busy while camping! We love the amount of activities for children and the space in the campground. I would recommend to think hard about what area you want to be around- some of the "communal" areas are very noisy all day/night long. It is well kept and everyone is very friendly.

It’s a nice campground with lots to do for the kids, but I feel the campsites are way too close. Right out our back window on motor home was the next door neighbors patio area, literally just a couple feet away. Also, the internet was terrible. They don’t allow downloading or streaming. Make sure you have all the supplies you need as everything in the store is very expensive.

We had a relaxing stay overlooking the main channel of the lake. Great time with family and friends.

Nice campground, a little pricey though.

When we arrived there weren't any visible signs to know where we needed to check in. We drove all around looking for an office only to come find out the check in office is at the Pier restaurant. There's a small sign above the ice machine in the parking lot saying check-in. I suggest rugs to be placed on the cabin porches as the cabins get dirty/muddy easily after walking through the grass/dirt.

Spots by the lake are beautiful. Very easy in and out. Like the pump out available 4x per week if not on full hookup. We will definitely be back again.

The views are amazing! However, our site was littered with cigarette butts and trash. The restrooms were dirty. One bathhouse didn’t have hot water. Talked with a manager who was very nice and seemed to care.

I brought my sister on her first camping trip and we had a wonderful time. All the staff are super nice and helpful. I love that there is a courtesy of emptying the tanks on the camper every other day. That was very nice. This is my favorite place to camp. Can’t beat the view, our site was right on the water!

The lake is the only reason we still go to this koa. The sites are never clean upon arrival, the store is barely there, and the restaurant may as well not be there. We know about what the campground lacks when we book....but we DO expect to pull into a campsite free of debris, dog mess, and table/chairs we must clean in order to even sit at.

It was very good. We had lots of activities for all ages. I would recommend staying there to anyone. We plan on coming back.

The only complaint we had was that our site was very unlevel. The entire site was slanted. Hard to get the camper level and not much room for any outside activity without being in the grass. Other than that we had a good time.

I had the most incredible time! My dogs had an incredible time! We will plan more trips there next year! Miles is an employee and an exceptional young man who came to the rescue with my camp neighbor when my car wouldn’t start. And Tracy was also so helpful and friendly! All of the staff members were awesome! We are definitely going back!

We come in with a large group of women campers and hold a full weekend event. This is our 3rd year at Kentucky Lakes / prizer Point and they never disappoint. The new "lagoon" area is beautifully concreted sites, each with a view and set up possiblities that do not block or obscure the other sites. Our group will plan on returning again next year. We love the service and support from Tracy!

Very nice park with lots to do. All lots are concrete. The park is very large and spread out. The golf cart rental was expensive. Need to enforce speed limit in the park.

Always good times been there like 6 times stayed in 4 different cabins friendly staff and always clean

The reason for the poor rating is due to a large group in the standard camping area. The group was very loud both Friday and Saturday nights. They even had a movie on a big screen TV hooked up to speakers Saturday night loud enough for the entire standard and primitive campground areas to hear it… loudly. I go camping to get away from things like that. Also people in golf carts yelling and singi

Our Second camp ground and it was a very nice! Very nice site and gorgeous view! Though only my opinion, the dog park could use some grass. The people we dealt with were wonderful and a great credit on the KOA site. Resaurant was good stuff! Thank you again!

We only stayed for two nights but it was a blast. We are planning our next trip there asap and renting a boat there next time.

Bought our first travel trailer back in July and just now got a chance to try it out. Everything with our trip went great. Prizer Point KOA is on point. We love everything about it and we’ll definitely be back soon. Everything was clean and up kept, other campers were friendly and respectful. Our almost two year old granddaughter loved the playground areas.

We had a wonderful time at Prizer Point! We booked our stay at the last minute when another location mixed up dates and lost our reservation. We weren't sure how this would work out, having never stayed in a cabin at Prizer Point, but it couldn't have been better. The rooms and the cabin were clean and worked well for what we wanted. Granted it is not a new 5 star hotel city experience, but for a campground cabin we felt it was very nice. (Some of the reviews I read beforehand had me a bit scared.) In late October, the camp restaurant was not open (other than for Pizza), so we ventured out to Cadiz, Eddyville, and Grand Rivers for food we didn't cook. We did use the provided grill (which was clean) and enjoyed the covered porch and swing. Two trash barrels close to the front of our unit were very convenient. We stayed in one of the Condo's that could hold up to 12 people, with just 4 of us. We would book it again in a heartbeat!
