Unfortunately due to worldwide pandemic of COVID-19 activities were suspended but the campground attendants were very friendly and helpful!

Very disappointed. We stayed here on our way traveling out west, and for the price we have stayed at far better. I understand that things may be closed (laundry) due to covid, but it would be nice to have known that prior to paying. Also, when calling we were told there were only 2 lots available, but there were many empty lots. It is highly unlikely that we would choose a KOA again.

Nice KOA. Had everything we needed for an overnight stay. Nice, friendly staff. Several mud puddles throughout the the park. Had to back out of our pull thru site to avoid driving though a lot of mud.

Facilities and office were closee to covid. Campground was fine. Half the area looked uncared for. Road thru play area was overgrown. Nice people and. I'm thinking the virus may to blame

This place is a joke. Pool rundown, no amenities, and $58 a night? This is why I avoid KOAs. Overpriced crap. The staff was very nice however, but the facilities are worn out.

Just not up to the standard KOA. We got more tv channels with our antenna than with their cable.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We inform all our guests when we park them that the coax connection at the sites that have them is for our digital antennae on top of our building. There is no cable company servicing our area.

I liked the KOA at Kennebec. The bathroom was newly remodeled and the showers were nice. There was an epic storm the night we stayed, so I'm glad that we were protected by the trees at the camp site.

They were more than helpful. We were out riding and exploring the area when a sudden 70 mph storm with hail came through the camp - they called us and they help preserve our tent by putting up our rain fly - so we had minimal damage while we sheltered in place where we were at. Great camp hosts.

Our site had standing water in the morning after an overnight shower. But very nice and helpful staff.

We only camped one night and it was super quiet and peaceful. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Pool wasn’t working but we were swimming anyway. Called and was quickly helped to reserve a spot that night.

Very small campground situated in the perfect place for your trip to or from the Black Hills. Not a lot of facilities, but clean whatsoever. Friendly staff. Beautiful nature. Quiet. Bring your own food, because the town is very small and doesn't have a lot of choices for where to eat!

a good place to just set up for a one nighter.. it wasn't crowded for a Tuesday. easy in easy outward! hard to truly rate anywhere right now with covid effecting so much. nice owners, looks like they are working on improvements. its these campgrounds that need your support right now.

This KOA was greatly overpriced. We were charged an extra $4 for each child but there were no child services for kids due to covid. It’s a tired, run-down KOA. But charges are similar to the Palmer gulch resort KOA. Very disappointing. But they has better WiFi than most.

Convenient to highway and very nice people. With 2019 flood and 2020 COVID-19, they have had a tough two years. I applaud their tenacity.

The manager was very sweet and kind but the entire campground is in need of some significant repairs and maintenance. It was fine for an overnight stay.

I liked how they were following the coronavirus guidelines. They had a campground between mine and someone else. Very friendly guy at the front. I also liked that there was sanatizer next to the door so you could use it as you left.

We have a large RV and sites were large enough. On the map it said there was a playground, but there was no playground. Pool was closed due to covid and it was expensive for the location and state of the campground. Seemed like an older campground, not similar to other KOA's we have stayed at. Employee was friendly.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Yes, the playground was destroyed in the flooding we experienced last year. We have bids out to replace it.

Our first time camping there the sites were level and spacious just off the interstate if you ride motorcycle is is a good place to stay a small downtown with a few restaurants or if you feel like checking out surrounding areas your not to far
