Some things were beyond the control of the staff, such as the hard rain, but it made it less enjoyable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Being close to the highway there was truck noise often. My biggest issue was the lack of water pressure in the shower. The facilities were very clean though.

Stayed here 5 nights while visiting with family in the Kansas City area. Nice campground Awesome manager and it showed in the attitudes of the employees that I spoke with.

I arrived after 5:00 as expected. The site (#24) info was easily available. The sites and the roads look about the same, so I had to get another guest to help me find my site. It was not level. The most annoying was the electricity that kept flashing on and off. (it was not our trailer having issues, as we had no trouble before or after). We could not cook or use our a/c or fan.

The park was clean. The staff were friendly, courteous and very helpful. The facilities were great for the little children (3 and 6) who were camping with us.

The staff are very friendly. The park is easy to maneuver through, although the sites are not all level. The playground and jump pad are awesome for kids. I had a full hookup, pull-through site and everything worked as expected.

Nice, clean campground with clean bathrooms and showers. The front office staff were very nice. We would stay here again.

Though office hours were supposed to be until 6pm, they were closed, the store was closed, and I had to pick up my registration in the laundry room. Had a some trouble finding my site and wasn’t impressed when I did, as it was not very level. Street light was out so very dark walking dog, and dark when I left the next morning and returned the next night. Not impressed, overall.

Not as well marked as some. Quite a bit of road noise as Interstate is close. Nice facilities though - showers, toilets.

The BEST KOA we have had the pleasure of staying at .From the wonderful well kept sites too the spotless bathrooms , showers and laundry. The staff was friendly helpful and always there. We are looking forward to staying there again at a future date.

Great location if you are in the area for Truman’s library (we were) or any event at KC stadium. Friendly personnel and very accommodating. Very mature trees and lots of shade. Upon check-in and set up we had a problem with the pedestal on our site. They had a recent electrical storm and that was thought to be the cause. We used the 30 amp side, and gave us a nice discount on our daily rate.

Stayed for one night - first time there. Campground very convenient to I-70. Easy in and out with large sites. Staff very nice. Will stay again when in area.

We arrived late afternoon and left in early AM, so we don’t have much to say. The campground was neat and clean.

We stayed later in the season, so some of the amenities were closed, the pool, but the campground was well kept and the staff happy help out and answer any questions we had about the area. We’d have no issue staying here again.

Stayed here several times but, this was the last. Sites have lacked maintenance over the years They’ve never been level but, have gotten much worse. Gun fire in the evening! That’s it for us.

Very loud park. Traffic and the train kept us awake most of the night. Staff and park was nice but noise was excessive.

Great park, helpful staff, clean restrooms. The only negative is the proximity to the interstate, which makes it a little noisy.

The staff there was great. Due to some medical issues we had to extend our stay twice. Our 3 week stay turned into 6 weeks. They arranged things so we didn't have to change sites for each of the extensions. Due to my surgery I couldn't lift anything. James was kind enough to help with refilling the propane tank. We can't thank the staff enough for their kindness.

No Sign off local roads saying where campground is located. Yes, I can read map, but a notice or sign is more helpful. Was told that state and local govt made campground remove sign! I wonder!!! Site not level, we noticed most were not very level. was told campground under new management. many changes coming for next year.

We stayed 2 nights in class A, 31 feet. Sprung for the patio pull thru full hookups (spot 96). Mostly level, we still put down the leveling jacks due to the slight grade. No shade in the spots. Separated from next spot by a wooden divider. Low noise, well behaved guests. The store has lots of stuff to buy, and ice cream cones. We didn't use the bath, laundry. My only complaint, I I'm getting picky, would be that given the spot we are in is the primo/most expensive, but not paved parking for the rig. Oh, and a weed is not supposed to be decorative, right?

You can tell it is under new management. They have really stepped up their game. The new sites are very nice. The gentlemen who greet and serve during your stay were amazing. Front desk check in was easy and she was such a joy. The restrooms and showers are very clean and ready for use. The activities are incredible. The kids love the bouncy pad and the playground. I like that the playground is not metal. Does not get as hot. The 4 wheelers you can rent are a blast. Our only surprise was that the office was closed at 5 pm and then on Saturday, we couldn't reach anyone. I would recommend at least allowing the Park assistants access.

Wow what a clean and spacious bathrooms they had. Our 4th stop on our month long journey and this was the best so far. Even though our campsite was little tight (40), we still did enjoyed it. We have a 5th wheel and we did pull thru to our spot and had to disconnect our truck to park on the side. They had mini golf as well. Very nicely kept campground, definitely would recommend this place, even though it was little noisy being close to highway. It didn't stop us from sleeping good:)) They had nice mini store as well and go kart to rent.
