Bathroom and shower area are very clean. The gravel pads are not very level. Requested to park next to a fellow camper 6 months ahead of time. We were told "No problem" when we reserved the camp site. Ended up with 3 trailers spread out, even though there were empty pads next to each of us. We made do, but a little disappointed in that.

I loved my cabin in every way. Very clean and everything I needed. The heavy rain caused leaks in the window by the sink, the curtain was wet.

Everything was great! The people working the guest registration desk were so friendly. It was a nice experience after driving 8 hours.

Great park and super nice folks running it. Unlike some other non-KOA parks we have stayed at, the managers here had no problem with me receiving a new power cord for my laptop via Amazon. This saved me from having to use a locker in town to receive the package.

I enjoyed my stay. I was only there for one night, and the weather was awful. It was bitter cold, so I really didn’t have a chance to get out and do much.

Conveniently located by Hiways 24/59/40, and the tall cottonwoods. These folks are the best. We arrived after a 4 hour drive to find we forgot our 50 amp power chord. The owner was nice enough to let us borrow one from his personal RV along with a surge protector. it made the trip much more comfortable in the cool nights and hot days. It's folks like these that make KOA a good place to stay.

Good park, friendly staff. Only downside is the noise - the trains that go by every 30 minutes or so and the interstate traffic. They did offer earplugs when I checked in. I got used to it so no problem. Just so glad the train doesn’t impact traffic in and out.

The cabins are so well kept, the laundry and shower facilities are clean and easily accessible, and the staff are amazing!! So kind, friendly, and a joy to talk too. We are already planning our next trip!

Thought we paid for a site that didn’t share a green space but it did and we were less than 10 feet between two other rvs. Very tiny space couldn’t sit outside without being right next to others. Dog run was nice. Very clean.

Noise noise noise. Trucks trains. Why does KOA buy the shittiest properties and expect people to get some sleep...corporate greed...AND CHARGE $75 for the pleasure! Shut this place down and turn it into a parking lot!

Laundry room was nice. Dog park a little small but adequate and bags and trash can provided. The biggest negative was the train noise. It occurs very often daily. We were in the sites by the rv storage area so probably the furthest sites from the train so it was bearable. They offer ear plugs upon check in. The location is really good if you are there for the city of Lawrence.

Well maintained park and utilities. Level sight and we did not need disconnect our 42 foot 5er from our F250. Great hospitality as we were made to feel welcome. Thank you for making our stay pleasant.

Very clean and pretty park. The persons working in the store/office were very kind and personable. I think the only possible downside was the nearby trains blowing their horns, however, being from a big, heavily populated city, I found the noise of the train quite quaint.

The staff of this KOA work very hard to ensure that every aspect of the campground is well-maintained. They are courteous, professional, and eager to assist campers whenever requested. This is a beautiful campground with level sites and all the amenities one could wish. KOA west is our favorite campground!

No frills, just a camp spot. Did not like the set up where every other rig pulls in from opposite side. Rigs on each side are facing each others entrance. Our door matched up with our neighbors door for a quaint greeting.

Pros: -Big Rig Friendly (40 ft 5th wheel) 50 amp with full hook ups - Two playgrounds - Frisbee golf baskets - kids zip line -nice clean bathrooms/showers -dog park - good Starlink service -Verizon coverage was decent Cons -the showers in the women's room were difficult to maintain temperature and would get really hot for three seconds and then back to normal - loud train nearby Great campground. Would stay again.

Had a great experience renting a small cabin traveling through on I-70. Very clean cabin, very convenient for I-70 travelers. Bathroom was spotless, entire staff was smiling and made you feel like family. Great location to downtown Lawrence for shopping and entertainment. 👍 Lawrence KOA does it right. Will visit again when traveling through.

I am staying in an R. V. At this place and I love the peace. And quiet and how beautiful it is over. Here it is a very nice place to go for KOA HOLIDAY RV PARK . I recommend if you're going through town. Stop here, stay overnight. They have all the amenities. It is a great place. I am from far out of town, so for me. This is comfort. Also, they're the certified propane fill ups . So if you need propane, they have it on site, they can fill your bottles before you depart. They also make homemade pizzas in their little kitchen, I would highly recommend.
