Really nice campgrounds. Yes, it’s in the city somewhat, but the amenities are very nice, especially if you have kids or dogs and we liked that it was gated.

Requested a site with cable TV. Didn't get one. Park was clean. Friendly staff but seemed like they weren't thrilled to be there. I was informed about points I could use which I did.

Nice clean camp ground will plenty of space between sites. Will stay there again . The manager drove us to our camp site after we arrived late. The dog park was nice and the fence and gate worked like it should. The campground is easy to get to from 44.

Ok place. We’ve stayed a couple of times on the way through. They need way more shade, more trash cans and a bath/shower in the back area. We pulled in to 97 degree heat and asked for a shady spot. They put us NEXT to a shady spot that remained empty. Sewer hookup was just a hole with no lid or cap. Spots are mostly level and grassy areas and pond are nice.

As a solo traveler interested in small town Americana I found Joplin KOA to be a well situated base of operations for western Missouri and eastern Kansas there are many points of interest within 50 miles in any direction. Museums related to Railroads, mining civil and Indian era forts all worth a visit. It is also an area in which some of the old Rte 66 can be seen such as Galena and Baxter kansas

The camp it’s self is fine not the newest or smartest but fine, however the state of both entry doors are disgusting with long standing dirty hand marks around the push pad, the internal door was not much better, whilst the lady on reception was polite and friendly to see most of her days meals down the front of her KOA tea shirt, she was wearing the same tea shirt the next morning ��

The campground was easy to access, very clean, the pad was level with plenty of room which made it possible to stay connected to our RV for an early morning exit. While the campground had plenty of RV’S onsite we appreciated the fact that they spaces travelers out as they came in and not lined everyone up in a row to give some privacy. We definitely recommend this KOA.

Facility was clean and staff was friendly. Was not a fan of the location for the cost! Seemed way to overpriced, considering i could hear the Highway

the staff was nice and helpful. The facility was substandard, too much gravel and dust. The auxiliary services such as restrooms and laundry were difficult to reach; clustered around the office, far from most of the sites. The charges did not reflect the mediocre facilities.

Needed a place to rest for the night and wait out a storm. Was going to stay at truck stop until I notice the KOA. Friendly service. Nothing fancy but site was level. No leveling required.

Both overnights were great for me! WI fi worked. Good water pressure. Easy in and out. Couldn’t ask for a better campground.

The night registration was readily available, hook-up was easy. I left early so I did not use any of the great amenities.

Spent 2 nights here while we searched for real estate in Joplin. This is an excellent KOA and was perfect as our base of operations. We'll be back again for sure.

We stayed over the 4th of July. There was plenty of things for the kids do. They do not have scheduled activities BUT feeding the fish in the fish pond is super fun. The pool is small but they still had fun. We found very inexpensive things to do in area. There is a waterfall and the Mineral and History Museum are near by and are very interesting and fun.

Very nice park, nice pool, neat clean washroom and nice showers, very nice laundry included an oversized washer and dryer, well maintained grounds with lots of trees, more than adequate space for 5th wheel and tow vehicle, and a nice picnic table.

The site was large and level. Please update your pictures to show where you park people that are only staying overnight or not a full timer camper. To show no shade at all.

I like the trees and long drive thru sites. I do think it has gotten overpriced at around $80 per night, and you have to bring your house with you. They also allow extended stays, and some of those RV/campers are not well maintained.
