Services and site were fine, except the first thing I had to do when we arrived was pick up dog poop on our site. I was not happy about that. The grass was way too long and our shoes got soaked every time we went out--you can't put a mat on the grass and the parking wasn't wide enough to leave room for the steps down to the gravel.

Noisy, extreme sulfur water. They should warn you. Took us almost 2 weeks to get rid of the smell. Di not feel very secure. No pool, and after Memorial day. Should be a stop to sleep and move on, but I wouldn't stay any longer. Staff was nice.

This is our 2nd stay here and it's a great park. Our plans changed last minute due to a breakdown and so we had to cancel our original campground in Branson but I was able to book Joplin same day. Love this park. Will stay again!!

Worst KOA that I have stayed at. Grass was WAY too long, broken boards on the Cabin porches, no landscaping around the office, pool fence was tore down. Appears you need to hire some employees to bring this park back.

Very nice, well kept up park. Nice campsites. Only problem, in the last few years, the truck traffic and the noise generated by it from the freeway and surrounding truck stops have become unbearable.

Week after memorial day, grass needed mowed. No amenities to speak of, pool was closed, and construction was ongoing starting early in the morning. Staff was not as friendly as other KOA’s that I have recently been to in Topeka & Oak Grove.

This campground was adequate for an overnight stay. Helpful host relocated us to a site without overhanging branches when we arrived. The sites are well-graveled. Restrooms are good. Pool is closed. Playground is old. Entry was terribly rutted - hard on RVs. Some noise from nearby truck stop. Some improvements are being made to the campground. It appears there are many long-term occupants.

For the nightly charge, the facilities are in bad shape. Roads with potholes, grass not maintained and generally run down.

Loved the mature trees that offered shade. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Easy access off the highway. Would stay here again to break up a long journey.

I feel the price we paid was overpriced. We had a gravel site that was long but it had just rained and we had a basic small river running through our grass area and they were limbs and pieces of stuff all over the lawn, but the rest of the park was empty mostly not sure why we got that particular site.

It’s in a good location but very rundown. KOAs are typically very well cared for. We only stayed because we were in town for family event.

It was unkept, overgrown grass, pool area looked like it had been in disrepair and under construction for a long time, bathroom was dirty…..laundry building looks abandoned and a few perimeter spaces were occupied by unoccupied messy campers. It looks like new management is needed with energy to create a place where you want to stay and sit outside and enjoy. Overpriced for the value.

It looks like the owners are upgrading this location so things may improve. The site we booked was not available because the power was out at that site. We were able to get a different site. The site we did get had new gravel and all new hookups, which was nice. Unfortunately, there was no shade, the grass was tall and we were next to a row of sites that appeared to be permanent residents.

The person who thinks he is an electrician,said my unit had a problem because it will work on my generator but not on the parks electricity.My surge protector showed one leg down.power is power regardless of where it comes from!You want more? Ask everyone that moved to another spot or spent the night w/o electric!

I like the trees and long drive thru sites. I do think it has gotten overpriced at around $80 per night, and you have to bring your house with you. They also allow extended stays, and some of those RV/campers are not well maintained.
