We just stayed for a night on a way back from Hot Springs Ntl Park and it was clean and well organized. Owners very nice and were guided by golfcart to our site which was a pull in full hook-up.

We were a planned late arrival, the facilities bathroom etc were not available as they did not provide access codes. The App/Web site indicated only 2 spaces were available but more than half of the park was empty, we were forced to pay for an RV site when all we wanted or needed was a tent site or place to park our van. This was not as we expected as our other stays at KOA’s we amazing!

One night stay. No complaints other than the cold weather. The restrooms were worn but clean. Temperature was good in the restrooms for the weather. Interstate is right there so there is a lot of traffic noise. Electric 50 amp hookup was good. Didn’t use water/sewer at this site. This was a perfect overnight experience.

An enjoyable stay, Tina checked us in and Dave escorted us in his golf cart to our site. The ice cream bar was delicious and we filled up with propane the next morning — thanks everyone!

Stayed one night in Joplin on our way to Tucson and again one night on our way home, great place to stay! We highly recommend Joplin KOA!

It wasn't easy making a reservation, but after that all was good. It was easy excess to & from the highway. Plenty of walking opportunities even on a cold night and morning. I would recommend staying there

Positive: clean and well-appointed kabin, with mini-fridge, microwave and climate control. Negative: incredibly noisy environment after sunset, due to a very close by fuel station which probably serves as international headquarters for the open-pipe society. I feel for the owners but they should consider putting up some sort of noise screen. Could not sleep very well.

Staff wasn't very friendly, the park is in need of some ground maintenance, and updating. Pool fence was half there, with old picnic tables blocking the remainder. Park is very loud with the interstate close and a 24 hour truck repair business right next door. Will not be back.

Very large campground with plenty of space between campers. The restrooms were clean and warm. We will definitely stay there again.

After staying at many campgrounds we appreciated how lighted up your park was for finding your spot. We felt you were very overpriced for this time of the year.

If you have to stay there, it not a bad place. It is more expensive than other KOA for your site. Stayed at Durant Journey KOA $20 cheaper for a lot better site,.

This is a convenient place to stay, right off of I-44. It is reasonably priced and the staff there is nice. It is not a "fancy" campground, but it is functional and does the job with no hassles. If we are in the area again and need a place to stay for a night or two, we would not hesitate to come back here.

We stayed one night on our way to Tucson. Check in was a breeze. I highly recommend KOA Joplin, very clean and had a great fenced in area for our dogs!

Over priced and we were overcharged for a standard 50 amp site when compared to on-line booking prices.

The staff were very kind and knowledgeable. The grounds however were in bad shape. Tall grass and just shabby looking. The pad site was not level and the sewer hook up stuck out of the ground to high. Even though we had sewer line supports it was difficult to drain.

Very easy to get to right off the freeway… however it’s a bit too close for our liking. Your sandwiched between the freeway and a trucking company.. so sleeping can be challenging because of the noise.. cabins looked cute and has a nice pond.. sites are wide open not many trees for shade or privacy for the pull through sites.

it was a nice clean campground. nice area to walk my dog. They were very accommodating. I was only supposed to stay one night but the winds were awful. So I checked with the office and was able to extend my stay to three days.

Check-in was quick, nice escort to site, site was level. Water spigot was too close to the ground at this particular site, other sites looked fine. Turns exiting site were a little tight but manageable. You could hear I44 and big rigs nearby. Suited our purpose with zero issues.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Sites were level but closely spaced. water spigot was very close to the ground fortunately my Wye splitter gave just enough room for hook up. Even though close to the highway there was not much vehicle noise. There was some industrial noise at night from an adjacent plant. reasonable for overnight stop or if your activities are elsewhere in the area. not fancy.

We stayed for 2 nights the campground host were friendly and helpful campground very well kept my granddaughter loved the play ground. We did not use the shower facility but they looked nice and clean. Our outside grill was not working at the time of our stay so we were a little disappointed to find out there was no outside grills at the campsites. So I give it a 4 stars for no outside grill.

The staff was very rude. When I pulled in I parked beyond the stop sign to prevent blocking the road. I was instantly met by a gentleman who immediately started chewing me out for going beyond the sign

I like the trees and long drive thru sites. I do think it has gotten overpriced at around $80 per night, and you have to bring your house with you. They also allow extended stays, and some of those RV/campers are not well maintained.
