1. Cherokee Forest

2. Sycamore Shoals State Historic Park

The point-to-point trail is about 8 miles long and starts at Chestoa Bridge near the Nolichucky River and continues until you reach the Indian Grave Gap. If you get tired or don't want to go the full trail length, you can turn around and walk back to your starting location.

Appalachian Trail near Erwin is about a 15-minute drive from the campground.
