People were nice. REALLY need an upgrade in the showers/restroom. Need to do something about the awful water (sulfur smell!!) Bring your own fresh water to drink.

We love staying at this campground. It is so clean and nice.

Nice clean with easy access. Sites could use some gravel, too much sand being tracked into the RV.

Some Sites very dusty

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Yes, this happens when we don't have rain for a while. It has been a very dry Spring for us. We appreciate your business

All of the staff, including the new owners were very helpful. Looking for to our return next winter. Don&Peg

Our site was long enough for our motorhome and toad, and wide enough not to feel crowded in.

Wonderful stay, great staff and location. Only reason it's not a 5 Star rating is that we had a terrible time getting steady hot water in the cabin. There was a sign letting us know it was an environmentally friendly heater, but never a real hot shower.

very friendly and good breakfast
Apr 03, 2017
The cabin was comfortable but had two flaws: no hot water and the water was unusable do to heavily chlorinated.

This campground was perfect! We arrived near midnight and was easily able to put up our tent with no hiccups. We have two small children and there was plenty to entertain them, the pool, playground, games, bounce pad and the pet playground was wonderful. The KOA served a complimentary pancake/waffle breakfast and all the amenities you will need. It was very comfortable, friendly and quiet.

Love this campground. First time at this one, but will definitely stay again on my way back to Florida
Apr 03, 2017
We stayed one night on return to Canada. Unfortunately the site was not level which caused more work for a one night stay.

I would like to see the breakfast start at 7.30 am so that the people could get a early start

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

You need to come for our Easter breakfast. We are extending the hours from 7:30 until 10:30 and offering eggs, sausage, bacon, sausage gravy, biscuits and mixed fruit for $6 (plus tax) per plate.

One night stay, picking up grandson to take to Florida for spring break 👍

It was too expensive for a one night stay. And it was a dumb

Nice friendly staff. Clean restrooms. The pancake and waffle breakfast was great! Pool was clean and good chemical Balance.

they parked us in a field , the breakfast was great tho

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

I was confused since we do not have any fields here. I see that you were parked in a wide 30 amp site that has everything except sewer. So glad you enjoyed the breakfast.

Great place to overnight on the way to/from FL.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Try to stay a couple of nights on your next visit. There is so much to see and do in this area, from Cumberland Island, the turtle rescue hospital on Jekyll Island, the Okefenokee Swamp and so much more.

I applaud the new owners for all the work they are putting in to what is still our favorite KOA. It would be nice if some of the projects could be finished though... The men's new showers were never completed and are already showing some signs of wear an tear as a result.

Really enjoyed staying here. Ready to book again. Great Location. Great Park, wide spaces, clean bathhouse. Easy to get to. Very Helpful staff.

Good service, wi-fi and thank you for complementary wafle/Pancake breakfast.

great place to stop on our way too and from florida, love the all pull thru site s and breakfast in the morning

Overall, it was an enjoyable stay. The one "negative" was when we checked in, on Sunday 3/26 at approximately 1 pm. The young woman who checked us in was not really friendly. Didn't smile, say hello, welcome or thank-you. She simply went through the motions of the process. Thank goodness we were familiar with checking-in as she offered zero, positive, customer service.

After checking in I was told that Doug would guide my 28ft rv to the site. As I entered my rv I see Doug down the road waving his hands frantically! It takes a few seconds to get in my seat! He could not wait! He drives his golf cart at high speed towards my rv and turns a few feet in front & stops by my window & asks "are you coming to the site"? Talk about being impatient! Not very courteous!

Was nice .Only one thing one lady Im office was rude to me when I asked about WiFi . She said the owner spent alot Money on . I ask her help with she said I got paperwork when check checked read it. She act like the boss older short blonde lady . Was rude . My look for me please to camp . Mike Spencer 765-894-0351

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

I apologize if you felt that I or any of our employees were rude. We do go over the Wi-Fi during check in and give written detailed instructions, especially since it is new. Hopefully all employees answer questions to the best of their abilities.

the only negative point is the poor quality of the water with it`s very high sulphur content
Mar 29, 2017
The ammenities here were wonderful. They had a pool, games, waffles for breakfast and a jump pad. It was very clean but the water stunk like rotten eggs. Ewwwww. I probably would rate it a four star but the people who worked here should find different jobs. One person said hi to us on a Sunday afternoon. he was off duty. No one in a yellow shurt said hi to us our entire stay

Awesome hospitality.

Great, accommodating and friendly staff.

We had a great stay this last weekend. Cabin was confortable and had what we needed. The camp was clean and well maintain. The one problem was my husband could not get any hot water when he took showers. It seemed to be a general problem as he saw others trying all the stalls without any luck. Other than that we would stay again.
Mar 28, 2017
Always friendly and inviting! Picnic tables need replacing. Some site are a bit close to each other.
Mar 28, 2017
Had a problem and it was corrected
Mar 28, 2017
Thoroughly enjoyable!
Mar 28, 2017
Great KOA activities for kids, including pool, ladder ball, connect 4, horseshoes, corn hole, playground, big jump pad, even Ping Pong and Pool table for the older people. Would love to see them add the large size outdoor Jenga game. Seems like it was the only one they did not have there.
Mar 28, 2017
Wooded, rural feel but noticeable road noise from 95
