Beau camping, par contre, nous avons eu droit à des commentaires racistes à l’égard des Québécois. It was ok. For 350$ weekend my expectations where a little higher. The staff was very nice but the spot we had wasn’t necessarily worth 350$. It was noisy at night. Speed limit didn’t seem very controlled. And some child engraved their name with a rock or a key on our camper(TYLER). we wanted to leave early but staff said that because minimum stay requirements they couldn’t reimburse us our

Site was very small - difficult to park SUV along with trailer. Fire pit almost on the road. Management of field activities could have been better. A family playing baseball on the field had toy rockets launched right into their game without any warning. Tie dye table was unsupervised at one point: dye was flung around onto people’s clothes. Kids activities were otherwise lots of fun.

Sunday we were having a friendly baseball game (with several children), the campground decided to set off plastic rockets directly at us. Althought this was a planned event that we were not aware of, the civil thing to do for a campground that prones to be so family-friendly would have been to advise us so we could get out of the way. Multiple anti-Quebecois comments were also made. Disappointing

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

It is nice that your group felt so free to use the activity field most of the weekend. Everyone who checks in receives a detailed event itinerary that lists all scheduled activities and location. It is a good idea to check this so as to avoid frustration with others who respect rules and regulations

Facility is nice but in need of investment to repair a number of small issues. Decking around pool is in sore need of relevelling, jets not working in hot tub. Scheduled kids cartoon time was not run one day. Hours for store and pool being reduced before Labor Day seems unnecessary and inconvenient for late summer campers.

Site was great. Pool and office switched to “fall hours” the last week of August meaning they closed at 6. Would have been great if they could have stayed open later. Hot tub was hot but jets didn’t function. Staff were friendly and very helpful

The site was a good location in campground. We had booked a tent site, grass pad, but wasn’t what we had though, even still I wouldn’t hesitate to go back. The facilities were top notch and had incredible playground for the kids and a relaxing hot tub for the adults….all together great service, very personable staff too.

Made a reservation for a pulled-tru site and the site was not long enough for my rv and my pickup truck. When I complained about it and was told that they did not have a site long enough. I have never have this problem at every KOA campground that I visited before.

We had a wonderful weekend at the 1000 Islands/Ivy Lea KOA. Compared to other KOAs in Canada and NE USA: - Store/Hours (3/5 suggest more stock) - Activities (5/5) - Pool (4/5 main pool could be bigger) - Site 78 (5/5 Nice size lot) - Wifi (3/5 Needs better strength/range) - Staff (5/5) - Shopping/Attractions (5/5)

The staff is very friendly. Great activities for the youth, but not a lot for adults except to watch the grandchild's activities. The park is a great location for visiting tourist sites like the Tower, boat cruises and near by towns. The only complaint is some sites not very level makes it difficult to level RV's.

It's nice how many activities there are for the kid, but the tight scheduling makes it overwhelming, stressful, and not a relaxing camping experience at all. Perhaps you could run events from x time to x time, instead of just "starts at 2:00", and then you show up at 2:10 and its completely over and your kid is bawling :( Just a thought, the staff were very nice. Thanks!

This was our first time at KOA Ivy Lea and we will be back. Our site 21 was amazing. Loved the patio/fire pit area and swing; close proximity to the pools and field area. The facilities were clean and you could hear a pin drop after 9pm. We biked the Parkway one day to a Ivy Lea and drove into Gananoque for music in Joel Stone Park one evening. Close to many amenities. Loved our stay!

The site we got was not as nice as the advertisement said it would be. Payed extra for the flower garden but garden was half dead. Out fire pit was right next to our neighbours dump station. Not a very nice view by the fire. Our neighbour played loud music all afternoon until 10:30 pm with no one from the grounds telling them to turn it down. Looks like a great place for kids though.

Very good but we had a very muddy patch on our site of 111 right beside the area for the trailer. It rained while there so it was a problem. Loved the pool and hot tub. Nice washroom facilities.

What a fab place, lovely sites and a very friendly welcome from everyone involved. We particularly liked the kids activities, so much for them to do. Would definitely recommend this for any families. The whole place is very well cared for and is obviously managed by a team who cares about the experience of their campers.

The staff were great and accommodating. The property could use some maintenance and upkeep. The pools were great but they get dirty quick due to the dirt etc around the pool deck. The garden beds should also be cleaned up to have more curb appeal.

The worst KOA we stay and we did a lot. We ask to the owner some help because our 45 feet and 13 feet high need 2 branches to be cut if not we scratch the motorhome but he refuse. After discuss and lost 30 minutes we decide to try another way because the other site was empty. This is the first time we didn’t get some help when asking for. We will NEVER go back.

I arranged for a group of 12 to camp. We were able to get sites all together which was nice. Even though there is quiet time we were still able to sit around the campfire and chat without any hassle. Would be nice if there was a group discount. Thanks!

Our kids had a lot of fun. We did find the grounds to be tired and not maintained. The washrooms were clean. The bikes carts we rented were broken. Our money was given back but our kids were disappointed.

We came here in May to check it out. And there were NO handrails going to the main office and Landry room and game room They told us in august when you come there will be handrails installed so we booked for 1 week. When we came there were still NO handrails and NO handicap bathroom on the main floor. We try to talk to the manager and he walked away from me I need bathroom on the main floor

We really enjoyed our stay at the Ivy Lea KOA! This was our first time visiting a KOA so we weren't quite sure what to expect. The staff at the front office was very welcoming. We stayed in the 4-person cabin with the full bathroom. It was the perfect size for our little family. It seemed pretty clean at first glance but I would suggest a bit more attention to detail go in to cleaning between guests. We found quite a few mouse droppings in the cabin, though we appreciate that the cabin was equipped with pest repellent plug-ins. The staff was prompt in addressing an issue with the toilet in our cabin not flushing when we first arrived. After that, we found that the shower was also not draining. Those are probably a couple of things that could have been addressed when the unit was being cleaned before our arrival. The grounds were pretty well maintained, but some work could go into revitalizing the flower beds and areas around the pool and parks since there were a lot of overgrown weeds in those areas. Our toddler enjoyed the park and the pool. We would definitely return for another trip!

This is a fabulous KOA. The pools are clean and safe the park and bouncy pillow are huge! The staff are helpful and kind. Our site was fantastic well kept and very big as well. We really enjoyed our stay here.
