We stayed for 2 nights/3 days and we had a wonderful stay. The staff were very nice and friendly, a lot of activities in the campground for kids and families to enjoy, the toilets and showers were a walking distance to our site which was very convenient for us. Finally our camping site was big, which we loved! Amazing stay!

The only thing I did not appreciate is the cleanliness of the pool. The water was not clear and the Poils were too small. Staff amazing and cool activities for the kids.

When the power went out at the campsite and my husband (who is an electrician) offered to assist and fixed the issue there was no appreciation or offer to discount our stay. Calling an electrician for an emergency call on a weekend would have been at least $200 or more expensive. So he worked on his holiday to help restore power to the campground and got nothing.

Activities for older children were missing such as gaga ball and basketball. The pools were smaller then we expected. Overall stay was ok.

Entretien des douches et toilettes pas assez fréquent et en plein heure de pointe. Trop petite piscine pour le nombre de campeurs sur le site. Nous avons attrapé la Covid !!

Lots of activity for the younger people there, which is great. Camp grounds could use a little move maintenance, ie. grass trimming, etc. We had a patio site and the grass was quite long and needed trimming. Also the site needs some TLC. We still enjoyed our visit and would return again.

Very quiet and clean. Loved the activities for kids and the park area. The pools and the pool area needs upgrading. The slide doesn't seem safe...very loose. The handles to get in the other pool is not well attached..loose as well. I was disapointed that these pools are so small. I have seen people trip on the interlock which needs to be repaired as well.

We have been coming to this campground for years and really enjoy it. Unfortunately during our stay this time the grass cutter was cutting part of our site as we were sitting outside in the afternoon. Then later that same evening he started again at 7 pm while people were cooking and sitting outside.

Staff are friendly and helpful. Amenities needs some maintenance and updating but still a great place. The kids had lots of fun. Great activities for kids. We would choose a different site on our next visit. One with a little more shade.

Every one on staff very friendly and helpful....we needed an emergency pump out....and was done within an hour....received info for seasonal camping and spring and fall camping...hoping to get lot 97 come August for next Year...was hoping for pump out site on that side like lot 98...but overall amazing

We booked a premium site and were given site 82. It was full of weeds on the patio and the furniture was very old and outdated. We requested to move to a regular site with sewer and the staff was very accommodating. This KOA seems to need an upgrade in all areas except the kids playground. If we compare to other KOAs this one needs some work. The staff however were very friendly.

I love the campground but you seriously need to re do that pool area I saw a child have to go in an ambulance because he fell in pool area My husband hit his head last year at pool because pavers are overhanging pool ! It’s a tripping hazard around that pool area ! Unfortunately it’s very run down and unsafe

The Koa has lots to do and is always clean, staff are awesome! My only complaint is it was 32 degrees in those cabins and that ceiling fan does nothing! Other koas I stay at have ac. I won’t be booking again unless they get ac cause it’s too unbearable for sleeping when it’s mid summer. Otherwise I really liked my trip!

Very nice stay, great pool and park. Would be helpful to have some parking near the main building, pool, park so those who cannot walk from camp site can still go and enjoy. However, the gentleman there allowed me to park on the grass line across from the park for a bit. More washrooms �� would be amazing as only washro9m is at entrance and again walking there was hard with a bad knee.

Pretty typical of a "Holiday" KOA, with all the family amenities you normally find. Nice big sites with plenty of room to move around. The premium sites have umbrella tables with chairs as well as a picnic table. Lots of trees and perennial beds scattered about.

Everything ran smoothly - staff was friendly and helpful! My kids enjoyed the pools, play structure and large jumping pillow! Only frustrating thing was the unreliability of the wifi - it really did not work at all! Very difficult for those trying to work remotely!

The area is great. The resort has gone considerably down hill s8nce the new owners have taken over. The pool area is all heaved and weeds growing between the interlock gardens have more weeds then flowers etc staff is very friendly and helpful but overall the campground needs work. The garbage bins at the back of the property needs to be farther away as all smelled during our stay

We have stayed here a few times, but it has been about 9 yrs since the last time. We noticed that the campground has declined in up- keep. The pool & showers were not very clean, and the main building looks like it needs some "sprucing up". However, as always, the staff were all very friendly , the campsites well maintained, and the activities were great for the kids.

My stay was good until Neibour’s started burning plastic and styrofoam in their fireplace with kids riding up and down the road. This made me sick. I complained to the office and was ready to call the environment office. The office didn’t do anything. So I won’t ever be visiting this KOA anymore.

First time staying, noticed several comments re. decline under new ownership. The fence around pool showing it's age and extreme trip / fall hazards ie pavers in the pool area. Some TLC would go a long way eg. not just cutting the grass but trimming around objects, rocks, trees etc. on sites.

The campground is great, the amenities are top notch. My site... not the same. Size 70. The site slopes so hard from front to back that I had to drop the tongue of my trailer all the way to the ground to get level. Also was told the site was big enough for a 32' trailer yet there were large trees that prevented me from putting my awning out.

We thank our hosts at the Thousand Islands/Ivy Lea Koa for our first visit to Canada since the pandemic shut downing Feb., 2020. The staff was welcoming and provided services seamlessly. Our site was spacious and at an agreeable distance from our neighbors; it was level, shaded, and the utilities in working order. The location to the bike path , the marina and the national park was ideal.

We found the site way too small. Campground as a whole is nice just so many people crammed into such a small space. Glad we didn’t come with our 3 kids there was barely enough room at our site for two grown ups and two big dogs.

I did a lot of comparing to other KOA’s in terms of amenities and events. Ivy Lea seemed to have the most to offer. When we arrived however, we were left disappointed. The activity schedule was pathetic, a scoop of ice cream or a bag of popcorn is not an “event”. My kids and the others we met were bored. Several amenities were not working. Not worth the KOA prices. I was taken aback when I found out that you do not follow the KOA National policies and go ahead and make your own. I understand you are a franchise and are entitled to do so. I was also shocked when my family was told that we could come to your campground with COVID 19 because you "DON'T CARE". You have a wonderful campground but my family will no longer be visiting you due to these points.

We are sorry to hear that. Our cancellation policy can be found within your reservation confirmation email. If read, the policy clearly states that we require 7 days notice of cancellation. We did and do offer to change the date in such circumstances, no matter the reason for cancellation.

Patio was very disappointing. It was dirty, the umbrella was ripped and the surrounding area was very untidy. We chose Ivy Lea because it allegedly was in walking distance to boat tours , fishing, marinas and restaurants. The marina was closed no restaurants in walking distance. We drove approx. 10 minutes to closes restaurant. The adult spa needed a good cleaning. Pool paving stones needed work

Staff were friendly and welcoming. I think we had the best accommodations in the resort. It was a deluxe cabin at very end of the street. It was secluded, well shaded and spacious. We enjoyed sitting around the campfire and watching the fireflies. It would’ve been nice to have an electric kettle though. Très beau site! Propre! Toutefois, nous avons trouvé que les toilettes( surtout les douches) laissaient un peu à désirer côté propreté! Le personnel est très courtois. La piscine est un peu petite et quelque peu sale! C’est un terrain idéal si vous voulez sortir du site pour allez visiter les alentours qui en vaut vraiment la peine!!!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Ivy Lea KOA! This was our first time visiting a KOA so we weren't quite sure what to expect. The staff at the front office was very welcoming. We stayed in the 4-person cabin with the full bathroom. It was the perfect size for our little family. It seemed pretty clean at first glance but I would suggest a bit more attention to detail go in to cleaning between guests. We found quite a few mouse droppings in the cabin, though we appreciate that the cabin was equipped with pest repellent plug-ins. The staff was prompt in addressing an issue with the toilet in our cabin not flushing when we first arrived. After that, we found that the shower was also not draining. Those are probably a couple of things that could have been addressed when the unit was being cleaned before our arrival. The grounds were pretty well maintained, but some work could go into revitalizing the flower beds and areas around the pool and parks since there were a lot of overgrown weeds in those areas. Our toddler enjoyed the park and the pool. We would definitely return for another trip!

This is a fabulous KOA. The pools are clean and safe the park and bouncy pillow are huge! The staff are helpful and kind. Our site was fantastic well kept and very big as well. We really enjoyed our stay here.
