Firewood

We always encourage a campfire while staying at our park, it's just part of camping. We are restricted by the Department of Environmental Protection and the Forestry Department from the transportation of firewood across state lines, so we do ask that you not bring your own firewood from other states.  Firewood is for sale at the camp store for $5 per bundle.

Visitors

Visitors of our camping guests are always welcome, however, there is a $7.50 charge for all visitors who utilize the campground facilities.  Visitors must check into the campground office and obtain a parking pass and determine where the appropriate parking is located.

Quite Hours

Enjoyment of camping for all guests is required, please respect your neighbors by keeping any noise and volume to a minimum.   Official Quiet hours are enforced between 10 pm and 8am.  Bicycle riding is prohibited after dark for everyone's safety!  Likewise, children must be on their respective campsite during quiet hours.

Swim Lake

We are proud to offer a very clean and refreshing swim lake with sandy beach.  While the beach and swim lake is a natural body of water, the fun comes with rules.  ALL swimmers, regardless of age or ability, must sign a waiver of liability.  Children must be signed in by a parent or guardian.  Once the waiver of liability is signed an armband is issued to each swimmer. Life jackets are provided in all sizes for any swimmer that goes past the shallow markers.  The large inflatable "toys" are located in the deep end of the lake and require life jackets to enjoy.  This year we will have the water trampoline again, the jungle jim and the rocket for guest enjoyment.

Rules on Personal Golf Cart Use.

We understand that many guests like to bring their own form of transportation to use during their stay at a campground. Our park is small and make it a safer environment for families with children to walk, and to reduce the road traffic, we ask that only licensed and insured golf carts are brought into our campground. All others will be asked to remain on your site at all times. We thank you and appreciate your understanding in this matter.

Meet Your Hosts

Brent and Sheila

It's not work if you're having fun!

The Andrews family has taken the "Life is Good" motto to heart. They resigned from their corporate jobs as a banker and engineer, sold their house, and bought a diamond-in-the-rough campground. Since purchasing the park in 2007, the owners have put a lot of blood, sweat, and tears (and money) into the park to restore its natural beauty and wonder.

Southern hospitality is the name of the game for the Andrews family. They couldn't imagine running a business any other way. With all the friends they've made, every year gets better and better. "We don't call our campers 'customers', because they are our guests. We make guest service our number one priority!"

We invite you to come out and camp with us at Huntington KOA. Be sure to stop in and say hi, we would enjoy meeting you and your family. We'll have a sweet tea or ice cream on the front porch. See you soon!
