I've stayed in numerous KOAs during almost 3 years of traveling. This KOA is by far the most awesome one. The staff is incredibly helpful, the restrooms/showers are clean, and the environment is so incredibly peaceful.

Beautiful tree lines. Gorgeous, large deck with beautiful Polywood furniture (Two Adirondack chairs - my favorite, and a large round table with 4 chairs). Full amenities at my site which was pull-through (senior citizen!). Great staff support.

We absolutely loved our stay at Houghton KOA. They have the best bathhouse/bathroom anywhere I have ever been in the country. This was our third stay so we picked our favorite site. There is cable tv and you can tell that they invested a lot in wifi as that worked perfectly. My favorite is fishing. The pond is not huge but it has a healthy population of fish for catch and release fun.

We enjoyed our stay. Nice level large lots. Camp hosts very friendly and accommodating. Will return in the future.

Deluxe cabin very nice - tiny house! Campgrounds very clean, quiet & beautiful. I stayed alone 2 of 3 nights & felt very safe. Would definitely recommend to friends. The shower head in Cabin 2 worked but might need to be replaced to be considered "deluxe". Great time Thanks!

Wonderful camping!! Host was delightful and friendly! Sites were groomed and clean, well set up. Restrooms were clean and accessible! Can’t wait to visit again. Less than 2 hours from Niagara Falls!!!

The campground was clean and quiet, even on a Saturday night. Our hosts were professional and patient with our questions about the area. Beautiful new bath house! Highly recommend a stay here!

Nice and quiet, great corner lot and dog friendly. Girl at counter gave us a great spot to walk our pups, will return in the future for sure!

Great facility. Clean, spacious. Tom, Karin, Haley, were always pleasant, helpful & friendly. They made us feel very welcome. The other staff helping were the same, though I didn't get their names. Overall great 5 star service. Our site was large, & well maintained. We look forward to a return visit in Fall 2023.

Great place to camp. Owners are friendly and the area is very clean. They had 2 bands come play and quite a few other activities along with a couple nice pools

We had a great time sat and sun with the bands playing on a holiday weekend you should have them play a little longer we enjoyed it very much. The only downfall was the grass should have been cut (because of ticks) on site

This is our second time staying and we had a BLAST! Clean campground, clean and new restrooms, family activities, bands and playground! Always a great time. The Strohs are always so nice and accommodating!

The staff was very friendly and welcoming, the grounds were nicely maintained, there were plenty of fun activities, and for a holiday weekend, it was very peaceful! We will definitely come back again!!

Campground is beautiful. Not sure why there’s an extra sewer sticking up on campsite s3 - it is a fall/ trip hazard. The outdoor pool is gorgeous. Wish roads weren’t one way. Made it hard to get moneys worth from renting a golf cart really can’t drive it around. But these things would not stop us from returning or recommending to friends.

Houghton KOA is our favorite rv spot as the facility and the family that runs it are top notch. Love how the facility fosters family interaction and activities to help bring folks together. Also, we really appreciate how the facility has preserved much of the natural scenery. Highly recommend this place if you’re in the area!!

Beautiful campground! Everyone was so nice and our kids made a ton of friends. We had a minor issue with our trailer and the "neighbors" came right out to offer help and tools. Great entertainment, fun crafts, awesome pools and lodge. We all agreed this was one of our favorite campgrounds ever!

Our host helped us out when we needed it. The bathrooms were kept clean even though it rained and people tracked in mud. Great activities/bands. I'm going back 3 more times this year.

Very nice site that backed up to wooded area. Lots of birds, peaceful and pretty grounds. Clean restrooms and pleasant owners. We hope to be back soon!

Camp sites are very tight. Fire rings are poor quality.

Thank you for your comments and we are sorry that you did not like any of our sites. We drove you around so you could choose a site. You decided to stay in the pull-thru which has plenty of room. Although your fire ring did not have a grill, it was more than adequate. Thank you for staying with us.

We enjoyed our quiet stay. If we went during a busier time, our site would have felt extremely cramped. Bathroom were very nice and new. But we were disappointed that the bathrooms were not wiped down or replenished the three days that we stayed.

The campground is beautiful. We loved our campsite, and especially the view. Our neighbors were all friendly, considerate, and helpful. We appreciated the space between campsites, in contrast to some other places we have stayed. We also appreciated the ongoing work to maintain and improve the campground. We hope to return in the future.

Always a nice stay. Owners are very accommodating and you can tell the work they put into the grounds and facility to keep it nice. Will return again.

Nothing for the kids to do. No activities planned except Bingo but there was no schedule so we had no idea. Bathrooms and showers were absolutely beautiful. Clean and well kept

Our Event Schedule is located on our website. During our shoulder months we do not have planned activities, except on holiday weekends. Bingo was a spur of the moment idea and we gave your children money so they could play a board.
