I had a good, clean RV site, the amenities were wonderful and the KOA staff (Vickie and Todd) were exceptional in their service to me. I really enjoyed the hot cooked breakfast all three mornings!

The park was decent, but the site we were at was very small (we couldn't put our awning fully out) & all of the campers were very close together. Our site was a pull-thru and was a hill. We had to place the camper at the top and park the truck behind, it barely all fit. Our camper is 22 foot long, which is how it was registered. For the price, we expected better.

The first site was just too small and too tight for us for four nights. They were fortunately able to move us to a larger site. The wi-fi was awful and inhibited my ability to do work. That said, the trees and setting are lovely, great location, beautiful area.

We stayed 4 nights and visited Black Hills, Mt Rushmore, Windcave NP, World Fossil Finder Museum (great location for those sites and attractions). Nice park and very nice staff, walking path and dog park. Made-to-order breakfast was delicious. The only thing not so great was the extra narrow pull-thru RV site we were assigned to. If we return, we would be sure not to be in that row of narrow sites

Really nice but new owners are not up to the task. Community grill was disgusting so I left the lid open thinking someone would clean it. No she just shut the lid? I returned and to cook it off and she shut the burners off??? Toilet was plugged and she recommend using another vs unclog???? Too far from all the sites.

The campgrounds were very nice and well maintained. We really enjoyed the staff. They were friendly and knowledgeable about the area and gave us some suggestions about things to see. My main complaint was the internet. We were not able to get service at our cabin. I had to go up by the office to be able to connect. This was a big problem when we didn't get back until 8 or 9 o'clock.

My first disappointment in a KOA. Pool was closed, KampK9 area was closed, and nothing was said about it. We paid close to $100 for this site (twice what I've paid everywhere else) in which 2 main amenities were unusable. I will not be coming back to this location.

Very good reception upon arrival. Lots of tall pines, level sites, cool nights. Great if you’re interested in the nearby spa and the mammoth bones. It’s not very convenient for other points of interest in the area.

This is one of the nicest KOAs that I’ve stayed at. The campground is clean and well-maintained. The pool was crystal clear. The RV sites are shaded by tall ponderosa pines that cover the property. The breakfast was a great deal and delicious!

Rain and some muddy roads and pull through spots. Our spot was on an encline and not very level - took some work and moving the trailer around to find a somewhat decent level part .. Our slide out is in the rear, and really had to extend the rear Jack's down on the trailer and even more so on the slide out to support it all. RV park is clean and well kept and staff was friendly and lesson to me.

Brand new owners this year, not quite as good as previous. Not one single employee stayed on with new owners. Pool pretty dirty and not heated. Freezing cold, and not once did anyone test the water or tend to the cleanliness of the pool. Seemed like they were very shorthanded. We will come back again this summer, but hope to see improvements.

Easy check in/out... Clean showers... Well kept grounds. Loved the whole stay! We were tent camping and had the smallest spot.. they only spot left ... But it was perfect! The women in the store were fabulous and helped us find local things to do! We have already booked another stay in the campground and planning our day trips around the stay.

was their for 8 days wanted to stay longer but in may when they opened say they didn't have anything but was able to get into hidden valley for another week the staff was great location was good a little small for big units but manageable. the overall stay was good but probly wound not come back

Everything was great. The bathrooms were clean, the pizza for dinner was awesome, and hand delivered. The breakfast was the best!! Todd was a great cook, and a great conversationalist while cooking. His wife, Vicki, was great at check in and the store as well. Everything was perfect, but the people made the place better. Thanks for a great trip, and Todd, don't forget to look up what Goetta is!!

Cabin was clean, comfortable and well maintained. Beautiful view and great price. All the camp amenities made for a wonderful stay. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Looking forward to staying here again.

The cabin was adequate. The breakfast was adequate. The ladies bathroom seemed to always be a little messy. The managers were friendly and helpful.

Nice folks running the KOA, which was clean and quiet. It’s located far enough from highway to reduce noise. Great trees. Sites are gravel, and some slope front to back—so bring extra blocks.

Family of 4 adults, 2 kids and 3 dogs and our stay was September 9, 2023 to October 8, 2023. All utilities were still on and working great. The site we stayed in was #18 which was a gravel pull through. The hosts and their family were very helpful, friendly and great! The laundry room was good but due to us being a large family we went into Hot Springs (short drive) and used the Hot Springs Laundromat, and it was great. Hot Springs has everything you need but a bit pricier due to the touristy nature. We used the dog park (which was great f/the dogs to run), mini-golf and playground. Pool was closed to being off-season. You can purchase firewood at the front office, and they will deliver to site and also cleaned out all pits early in the morning (had never seen that before). We will definitely stay here again should we be traveling through.

Stayed here in September 2023. The cabin was clean, and the breakfast served was very good. Staff were friendly. It was nice having breakfast at the campground as options nearby are limited.
