Great staff, very helpful and friendly. Had pizza delivered to the campsite through KOA. Reasonable price and good quality. Bacon and egg breakfast the next day was the same. Our only negative was the distance to the bathrooms.

Hot Springs itself appeared to be a dieing town with places boarded up. The distance to Custer is a little far if going there each day. The campground was very nice and well maintained. Staff were very helpful. Roads within the campground were very dusty.

I always love my stay at KOAs, when it comes to the staff and the way they treat eceryone like family almost. Althought at this one in particular, I would have to say that the placement of the firepits were rather close to low hanging branches on trees.

Charming campground, gracious hosts, lots of fun activities and good food. Clean, well-kept cabins and bathrooms, good water pressure. Lovely quiet forest setting at the base of the Black Hills, southern gateway.

We stayed T cabin #2 last year and loved it. This year we were very surprised to see the new deck and fire pit. It was awesome not having to having stairs to deal with. Great place to stay. The staff is so helpful and has great local knowledge!

Great place. Our setup is just way to long to go there. But they did everything they could to make it work. I had to back out but it was fine. Nobody’s fault but my own. I should’ve called instead of booking online. The staff was great. If it wasn’t for our setup we’d definitely be back. Great experience. Thank you.

Best one so far! Love the friendly and helpful staff. Grounds were clean and well maintained. Superb site if you are camping with children, lots of different activities. Having breakfast available on site along with pizza delivery by golf cart was a nice touch!

Our site was on the small side level enough for our small trailer but sloped off a around it. One of the best staff of any KOA. They really went the extra mile. Facilities were good and clean.

The campground may be the best location for a base camp for seeing Wind Cave NP and Custer SP. You are on the right side of the parks to see all of the wildlife the area has to offer and all of the Custer SP beautiful drives. The staff are very friendly and helpful, another plus is the morning breakfast, big time saver and very good. Negatives, some sites are not very level and some road noise.

We had a very enjoyable stay. The site, and all facilities, are very well maintained. As a special note, I have to really express my appreciation for the convenience of the patio site. It may not be exactly “rustic”, but it’s sure nice to have a clean pad, furniture, and ( especially) a grill available. A new standard has been set, the patio site is great!

Friendly and helpful staff. Did not use any of the amenities. Sites are fairly level, did need to level up one side a little. We will stay here again.

Everyone was very nice, but the sites are crowded without privacy. Not our type of camping, but needed a quick place to stay for the night and it filled the bill.

We have stayed here before, we really enjoy the pine trees and views around this area. Great staff, clean park, will probably be back soon.

Everything was awesome except we hit a period of heavy rains and our site just turned into a muddy mess. More gravel was needed to use the site. Nice smmdnities and facilities. Great staff!

We stayed for two nights and although it's not that far away from home, it was the perfect 'getaway'. Our kids loved the playground and put-put golf. It was too chilly for the pool, but it looked inviting, as well. Everyone on staff was incredibly helpful and friendly- our kids knew them all by name. To top it off, breakfast was delicious. We will be making this a yearly stop!

Loved that the cabins were nestled in the trees. Staff was super friendly and welcoming, however we had a hard time checking in at 2pm because the office was closed until 4pm. Nice playground for kids. Clean bathrooms, but the air freshener was overpowering. Quiet, easy access to Hot Springs Town. Cabin was fine and had heat and AC.

Family of 4 adults, 2 kids and 3 dogs and our stay was September 9, 2023 to October 8, 2023. All utilities were still on and working great. The site we stayed in was #18 which was a gravel pull through. The hosts and their family were very helpful, friendly and great! The laundry room was good but due to us being a large family we went into Hot Springs (short drive) and used the Hot Springs Laundromat, and it was great. Hot Springs has everything you need but a bit pricier due to the touristy nature. We used the dog park (which was great f/the dogs to run), mini-golf and playground. Pool was closed to being off-season. You can purchase firewood at the front office, and they will deliver to site and also cleaned out all pits early in the morning (had never seen that before). We will definitely stay here again should we be traveling through.

Stayed here in September 2023. The cabin was clean, and the breakfast served was very good. Staff were friendly. It was nice having breakfast at the campground as options nearby are limited.
