The folks here were very friendly. We camp in a dry camper van, and sometimes end up in spots that are not great for us. This one was lovely- pretty, shady, still close to the bathrooms, did not feel too crowded. Clean restrooms, firewood delivery was great. The hash browns we got for breakfast were great. It was the jumping off point for our vacation, and was a very nice beginning.

We were very happy with your staff's successful effort to move us, after our first night, to a full hookup for our next 3 nights. The KOA was very clean and maintained. Office staff excellent with directions and suggestions.

I was there for two plus weeks. While my husband participated in a motorcycle challenge. The staff was fantastic made me feel safe and very friendly. Also, the campground is clean and well kept. The breakfast they offer is yummy!! Pizza is too. We love it here!

This is my second stay, one last mid September and recently, mid July. The staff made efforts to be friendly, welcoming, and informative. I felt I could always ask questions, get clarifications, etc. When traveling, these efforts make a positive difference.

Very nice campground. Lots of amenities including breakfast, pool, playground, putt put golf. We had a tent site w electric. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Bathrooms could be updated slightly but were still in good condition and clean enough.

Very clean and organized. Staff was very professional and courteous. Site looked to be well maintained. Only complaint was that the fire ring was a little small and since it was an old brake drum it let too much air under the bottom. Other than that it was a wonderful site.

Loved the spots! The pool was wonderful, everything was clean and the workers were all super kind and helpful. We will definitely camp here again.

Our favorite KOA of all time. Staff is so friendly and helpful, pool is amazing and well kept, facilities are always well maintained. We have stayed 3 times, and will be back!

Your shower curtain we’re to small plus they were moldy.. the parking stop was uneven on a hill it was difficult to park our RV… good was great.. park was nice an clean.. gift shop… not enough souvenirs.. people were very nice an helpful… Your little town is full of wonderful gift shops… feel free to tell people to explore…

My stay was fine for a night. I feel I overpaid. No linens which I knew when I booked, no paper plates, napkins, paper towels, coffee or simple amenities like soap bars. I guess I viewed the deluxe cabin as more like a hotel room and I was wrong. The property was maintained but didn’t have a lot to do. A playground, very small pool and if you want to call it mini golf sure.

So friendly and accommodating. Helped us tremendously when we got rained out of our tent. Provided great tips for day trips nearby. It was a wonderful experience.

We had a wonderful 5 night stay at the KOA in Hot Springs. Beautiful and clean campground and the pool was the perfect temperature.

The amenities were great - nice pool, nice breakfast, and fun activities for the kids. We liked the dog run so our dog could have some exercise. We would love to see a bigger area for dogs or more fencing along the “pet walk” so the dogs could have another space to run. The staff at this KOA were so helpful and kind! Thank you for a great stay!

My wife and I LOVE this campground! This was our second time visiting. The first trip we visited was back in 2019. The only change we noticed is the the campground got even BETTER! Seriously folks, the owners and staff make this place a “home away from home.” If you ever think about visiting South Dakota, make this place a priority! You’ll be glad you did!

We had a great time. The pool was a really good temperature. the prices inside The KOA store and for breakfast were very well priced. Nice clean facilities, and very friendly and helpful staff. We look forward to staying there again

I would like to say a very big Thank You to the staff at the KOA camp ground. They were very professional and extremely nice. The 2 days my family and I stayed there it rained hard. The staff went above and beyond the call and made the stay pleasant. On the 2nd night we were able to switch from our tent site to any open cabin, so we could get a good night sleep. The Staff made the move smooth.

This is the most delightful campground! We have stayed at the Hot Springs Holliday KOA twice now (with more visits to come) and everything is just always perfect, from the moment you check in, until you (regretfully) pull away. Wonderful little campground with a helpful friendly team. Tasty breakfasts, uncrowded pool, firewood delivery, great advice, lots of trees. Near Mammoth dig site which is definitely worth a trip, cool for all ages, from 10-82, we all enjoyed the recomended mammoth site.

This was our first RV trip and the stay at the KOA just put the trip over the top!!!! I would give it 10 stars. Host Todd and Suzanne are amazing!!! The breakfast was delicious and the coffee made my man very happy!! When ever we are going back throught South Dakota we will be planning a stop at this KOA.

Family of 4 adults, 2 kids and 3 dogs and our stay was September 9, 2023 to October 8, 2023. All utilities were still on and working great. The site we stayed in was #18 which was a gravel pull through. The hosts and their family were very helpful, friendly and great! The laundry room was good but due to us being a large family we went into Hot Springs (short drive) and used the Hot Springs Laundromat, and it was great. Hot Springs has everything you need but a bit pricier due to the touristy nature. We used the dog park (which was great f/the dogs to run), mini-golf and playground. Pool was closed to being off-season. You can purchase firewood at the front office, and they will deliver to site and also cleaned out all pits early in the morning (had never seen that before). We will definitely stay here again should we be traveling through.

Stayed here in September 2023. The cabin was clean, and the breakfast served was very good. Staff were friendly. It was nice having breakfast at the campground as options nearby are limited.
