This KOA is quickly going downhill. It was not our first stay here but, will be our last. From trash left and tore up on assigned lot, bathroom locked, a lot dog poop left in the small dog park (not fresh, fresh and old), and a perceived general lack of care.

Great place if you like mud. Mud everywhere, mud tracked on to my steps. Oh, and did I mention that there is mud everywhere.

Great stop. Well cared for KOA. A few mud puddles and ruts from all the rain (4/24). I little grading of the sites and roads is needed. Otherwise outstanding

Nice facilities but noisy and front desk wasn’t very friendly.

We were only there for one night and we felt very comfortable. We wish we had the grandkids with us to enjoy the campground amenities. So much to do. And the campground is convenient to so many attractions. We will definatly find a way to spend more time there when we tour central Arizona

Delightful owners! Park was clean and easy to move our rig throughout. Plus our fur baby received a dog treat!

We had a very pleasant stay. Thank you!

This campground was very disappointing. It was dirty, especially the men’s restroom. The grounds are a muddy mess after rain. There were non-stop barking dogs. Also, rude neighbor parked w/in a ft of our trailer. Would NOT return here.

Great stay - my 1st time at any KOA. Everything was simple and I felt safe with my family.

While it is a 25 minute drive to Petrified Forest Park, was a pleasant stay. Also, very helpful when we had to adjust our arrival date due to snow on I-40.

Very clean campgrounds. Staff was very nice and helpful.

We stayed in a trailer and our spot was very unlevel side to side. We used all 10 of our blocks and wasn't even close, but that's all we had. Disappointed that pancake breakfast doesn't start until May, but somewhat understandable, although they are serving breakfast at Tucumcari KOA. I would still stay here again as it's well situated for travel from Phoenix. Nice showers, store/office.

Great friendly check-in, nice park, quite pricey @ $71 for a regular pull thru full service. We stayed in a 39 ft 5th wheel.

Nice K-9 camping area. The sites were nice.

Easy access to Interstate 40, and just down the road about 20 miles from the Putrefied Forest, The Putrefied forest was fantastic, with painted canyons and several excellent hikes. The KOA was clean and well maintained, with an excellent staff. The perfect place to stop and "catch your breath" as you head east or west on 40.

I was lied to and I don't like liars. When I checked in my site was changed. I asked about sites 31 & 32 (which I was told I was reserved for), and I was told 31 & 32 were booked and could not have either of them. During the entire time I stayed, only one of the sites was booked one night. Very sad.

We stayed to explore some of the National Monuments in northern Arizona. The park is easy to get to from I-40 or highway 77. The sites are big enough but the park is all gravel and the rain made it muddy. We stayed last year and visited the WigWam Motel museum, quite a surprise. There are a few murals along Route 66 to look for, too.

Friendly hosts, great little store. I travel with two working dogs, so I love the extra space their own dog run provides, and the big dog park. Restrooms always clean and stocked.

We tent camped here for one night while on a longer roadtrip, overall pretty decent KOA. We really liked the tent campsite we booked with privacy fences. Only downside for us was we were told the site had running hot and cold water in the little kitchen area within the site but the water wasn't running or set up so we had to go use the other sink by the bathrooms, no big deal overall though. If you plan to set up a tent on the tent pads filled with rocks be prepared to not be able to stake it down due to the rocks only being about 2 inches deep with solid ground under it, we set up in the wind so that wasn't ideal but we just weighed the tent down inside with our duffle bags. Bathrooms were nice and clean. Location is near the highway and right behind a McDonalds so you'll hear some noise at night.

Nice staff and everything was made simple. I'm not sure I've seen a bad KOA come to think of it. The location is very close to Route 66 and Petrified Forest/ Painted Desert. I should probably mention that Romo's restaurant is about 6 minutes away. If you're RVing, great location.
