Higgins Lake / Roscommon KOA General Information

In an effort to protect our forest from diseases, we only allow kiln dried firewood. All kiln dried wood brought in must be declared an inspected prior to entering the campground. As a service to our campers, we offer at the Camp Store firewood for a reasonable charge which we deliver to your campsite.

Check in starts at 3pm each day. If you are arriving after store hours, please call the front desk to let them know you will be after hours. We will leave a late check-in packet for you. Early check-in may be available for RV/tent sites please call or email ahead. Early check-in is not available for accommodations.

Check out is at 11am for all accommodation and 12pm (noon) for all RV/Tent sites. Late check-out may be available for RV/tent sites please ask the front desk. Fees apply. Late check-out is not available for accommodations.

11:00PM - 8:00AM. All daily visitors/guests are required to leave by 10:00pm. Activities and volume settings must be contained within your site at all times. Please be aware that normal speaking voices carry. Our quiet hours are strictly enforced.

Facilities in this park are for use by registered guests only. Visitors are required to register and pay day use fees at the office before entering the park. All visitors must leave the park by 10:00pm, unless registered as an overnight guest. Please register overnight guests before registration closing. Valid vehicle pass must be visibly displayed on driver side dash for security purposes.

Each site allows only one RV and one vehicle per site.  A “pup” tent is allowed for children of the immediate family currently living at home. Maximum limit of people per site apply.  Clotheslines are not allowed to be tied to trees. Please hang under RV awnings only.

Playgrounds and activities are provided at your own risk. We strive hard to follow strict safety guidelines but due to the outdoor rugged nature of camping, we ask that you inspect all equipment and activities for safety. Please report any concerns to the office. The activities require staff monitoring when in use. Please do not play on or near equipment after dark or when un-staffed for your and others safety. Certain activities require armbands and/or releases signed by parent or guardian prior to participation. See the Office for schedules and details. All playgrounds close at sunset.

We love them when leashed and picked up after!  They must be accompanied by their master when outside. Pets must not disturb others.  No aggressive dogs allowed

All slow and medium speed vehicles are required to remain on roadways. All vehicles require insurance and licensed drivers. Proof of insurance and Driver's License must be presented to Security and/or staff upon request. Speed limit is 5mph throughout park.

All vehicles are required to be registered at the office for security purposes. Please inquire at the office to receive proper passes and assistance with parking/storage.
