Meet Your Hosts

".. to give families the opportunity to create memorable experiences is what truly holds value and fulfillment for me."

The Higgins Lake / Roscommon KOA is owned and operated by the Taylor Family. The onsite General Manager is Megan Ehlen. Her expertise with campgrounds dates back to 2016 when she entered her first leadership role working with the Taylor Family. We know that she is a great fit for this position and will do her best to meet the needs of all our guests. Here are a few words from her:

I look forward to serving you as the General Manager of the Higgins Lake KOA. Being born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, my heart is tied to the American Midwest. I was working for the Taylor Family when I moved to the Pacific Coast to pursue a new opportunity. I was living in Orange County, California when the pandemic started. It was at that time I began to realize that taking a step back from the hustle and bustle to give families the opportunity to create memorable experiences is what truly holds value and fulfillment for me, not to mention the added bonus of diverse responsibilities the campground holds. It keeps me on my feet, with continuous room for improvement, to ensure you are provided with a premier camping experience. Please, never hesitate to find me around the campground if ever you need anything!

Sincerely,
       Megan
