We love staying with you, however this stay was disappointing. When I made the reservation I expressly asked for a different cabin than Cabin 15 I wanted a better grill/fire pit. We got cabin 15 for this visit. Only one outlet worked in the cabin. We were told that maintenance would be there to fix it, we waited, they never showed. The wifi didn't work. There was little food service.

Due to unforseen things, arrived a bit later than office hours. Was able to connect by phone w/ an after hours staff. Who guided me to my site. The cabin was very clean and the amenities were great. Yes, i will return again, and also visit other KOA. Thank you to all the staff. All very nice individuals!

It would be nice if you would provide check out instructions. All staff that we worked with were very helpful and friendly. Also may be a good idea to put a sluicing station down in the mine. We spent more time at Ace because of that. Thanks

Solar 1 was fabulous, with the following suggestions: - The beds are as bad as you can get. The master had a box spring on top of another box spring. - The addition of a microwave and even ice cube trays would be a good addition. - Please label the switches. There we so many light switches and no idea where any of them went to. - Lets get the TV's working, come on now.

We arrived after dark and the office was closed. Getting a key to our cabin was easy. The cabin was clean and came with some unexpected bonus items. The map to the cabin was easy to follow. Our overnight Stay was great. We had a river edge cabin which was great when the sun rose.

Had a great time! Cabin was clean and cozy. The bathrooms by our cabin were clean and nice. The only reason for a 4 star was for the other bathrooms, especially the one by the pavilion, it had clogged toilets and wasn’t clean. The prices continue to go up every year. Otherwise it was a relaxing weekend. The creek is always nice and relaxing to listen to. The mines were nice also. Be back next ye

Solar Lodge 3 - cabin was nice. air conditioners didn't work very well. Fridge/freezer too small. Grill was all rusted, maintenance swapped it out for me. Check in efficient. New garden behind the store was awesome. LIve music was great. Pool was dirty. Love the tubing and mining.

We had a great time. Staff is super friendly. We go yearly to this location, sometimes multiple times a year and we love it here. We have stayed in tents, cabins with no bathrooms, birds of paradise cabin, astronomer's cabin, mine cabins, and this time the tree house. The location never disappoints with the river tubing, pool, mining, disc golf, and other activities. Can't say enough good things.

Had a blast! Every Labor Day weekend my extended family and I go camping at a different campground. We enjoyed Herkimer so much that we actually chose to back next year instead of trying somewhere new! We're already booked and looking forward to next year's memories and experiences.

We have been coming Labor Day Weekend for numerous years and we always appreciate how accommodating you guys are. I love the new Garden Area you've added - it is a great spot to hang with family of all ages. Suggestions: Garden should be a non-dog area for numerous reasons and there should be playground equipment added for younger children ages 5 and below.

We stayed in the windmill lodge. It was small for 5 adults but we made it work. The large deck and additional patio was great. It was very nice. Well kept and clean. The employees were polite and helpful. We had a great time.

Way overpriced for everything. Our cabin was supposed to have a queen bed, it was a full, so we had to rearrange sleeping arrangements and my poor husband had a very uncomfortable 3 nights because of that. It also was supposed to come with a gas grill, so we left ours at home. It did not. So we had no way of cooking our food. TV never worked the entire time we were there. So disappointing

Love the addition of the garden area. Could use a bigger exit sign for the river tubing and a catch rope if you have a hard time getting to the exit. Site K1 has a bit of an issue with ponding right in front of the porch when it rains. Some additions of stepping stones or just better drainage would be helpful.

This was our first time camping besides in our backyard. We had such a great time, adults and kids loved it! There were so many amenities! We will be back next year.

The campground is wonderful. The grounds are kept very nice. Love the garden area with the trailers. Every employee I dealt with in the store/office were extremely polite, knowledgeable and helpful. The only negative I could say is the cleanliness of the bathrooms at night. For anyone, like me, using the showers after the dayshift they got dirty showers with muddy floors.

We have been going to the mines now for 12 years and we used to have a camper but we sold it. So we now stay at the cabins once a year. We also come to day mine during the season because we only live a-few hours away. The staff is very helpful, friendly and really respectful. Our cabin was number 5. It was nice a few ants but it’s the season for bugs. All good �

We stayed in the treehouse. It was a very cool little cabin and nice and clean. Some things to keep in mind if you want to stay in the treehouse - it is SMALL! I would consider it a studio, not a 1 bedroom. There is zero closet or storage space except a few little spots under the sink in the bathroom and the towels are infant sized lol! Tricky for 4 people but ok for two!

The campground is just a little overpriced, I know things nowadays are inflated but 2 pizzas and 10 wings shouldn’t be 60! The store there too jacks up the prices, but other then that great campground

The Kabin was neat, clean and well equipped. We liked the river ride, but it was too cold for us to experience this stay. The staff was warm and welcoming and helpful in answering questions.

All went well although PRICING has increased dramatically and they DECREASED activities - no more rock bingo, no more ice cream social or dj, no more pancake breakfast or tie dye...VERY disappointing

We had an amazing time!! Stayed in one of the cabins with no bathrooms and found the outdoor shared ones to be extremely clean and the cabin to be very comfortable! Every worker on site was extremely friendly and respectful. Our first time at a KOA site and hope to go back again!

Timing is everything? KOACompany party first night. No food on site open. (Thought there were 3). Checked in @ 4:30 Had to leave to find diner in town. Cabin -up next to the mine. That was convenient. getting down to the pool, water, food trucks needed car. Mining is $18per person. Less than 1/2 roll toilet paper for 4 of us, very dirty silverware- It really was a Nice cabin. I expected too much.

we had a fantastic time. the activities were great. we loved the bonfire and music on friday night. the cabin was decent. what i’d expect from glamping. the staff went above & beyond to get us blankets and a propane grill to use to cook our dinner. HUGE thanks Josh ! my boys (and husband)!had a great time mining for gems. we will def be back.

Cabin was clean and ready for our stay. Pool was very dirty. Both the on-site restaurant and Scoops Ice Cream truck were closed when they should have been open. I asked why icecream closed /guy said I dont know We visited the Camp Store 3/4 times during our stay. I was with my 9yr old one of the times and they were blasting inappropriate music. Music with profanities like F**k. I was shocked.

Had a nice stay in RK5. Although the furnishings were not quite what was posted online we made do just fine. The staff was very friendly and got us what we needed. The weather for mining was great and we found some very nice clear and smoky gems. Wish the lapidary booth was open though - been here 2x and haven't had a chance to see what can be made out of our finds. Hopefully next year! Thx!

This a first time for all of us and was different. I had fun even though the rain had to remind us that we're powerless when nature brings the rain. Several diamonds were found including several decent sized ones. Prices in the shop were a bit steep for my budget but the little experience I've had with Crystals kinda shows what we all know...quality is not cheap. I do wish I had brought a few larger rocks back as I now have the means to cut into them. I did grab a few that should look nice after a session in the rock tumbler.

We camped here last weekend for their season opening. The staff was so very nice at both the Campgrounds and the Mines. Everyone we met was just absolutely just the most friendly and welcoming that we had an amazing time and immediately rebooked to come back when it's a tiny bit warmer. Despite having a rainy and cold weekend, the view of the creek was lovely and my kids had a ton of fun at the mines and my little guy loved the playground.
