Very helpful, friendly staff! Enjoyed live music in the garden July 4th. Only complaint is the dump station, situated on a hill. Ended up dumping at a vacant full hook up site per staff. Will stay at this KOA again!

We’ve been here many many times and love it You say you are a resort but yet you don’t keep your property looking like a resort. Our site needed a weed wacker very bad. The grass had not been cut and our fire pit was loaded with garbage. Normally this would not bother me but your rates have gone up so much. At least let me get what I am paying for. The site should be perfect

The employees are absolutely wonderful. They were always willing to help and went above and beyond for us. The garden was super adorable and loved the activities and gatherings. The kids had a blast riding their bikes and tubing down the rolling river. We also went home with quite a few "diamonds"!

We just stayed overnight in a pull through site. My only complaint was that our site had a very large tree that was in the way of one of our slide outs. Our reservation stated we had slide outs on both sides of our camper and the site was good except for the tree.

I'm very disappointed they got rid of the playground near the pool. The other one is too far to send the kids to alone where the last one we could see from our site. The bathrooms should be cleaned more than once a day, they are absolutely disgusting except for the 10 minutes after they are first cleaned. We won't be returning as we are so disappointed that there aren't any fireworks on the 4th.

To be honest, we have not had good luck with KOA campgrounds. Herkimer diamond resort was a completely different experience. The resort was clean, the spaces were good, everything worked, there were plenty of activities, and the layout let us have the quiet experience we wanted while also joining in when we were in the mood for more noise/activity. In fact, we have already booked for next year!

We had a pleasant stay, with great neighbors! Love the addition of the garden. Home made waffle cones were awesome! The 1 thing I noticed is the bathrooms don’t get as much attention as they need. We booked already for next year!

We had some electrical problems from the post and we ended up moving to a very small spot for the night and a bigger spot the next day. The staff was great and tried the best they could on a busy holiday weekend. We enjoyed the "garden" area with food stands. Lots of families but not noisy. Overall very relaxing stay.

One night. Terrible . Smoke from Canada natural disaster, amplified (tripled) by local people campfire lovers. No respect for anyone . 30 Amps promised were barely 16Amps as the power dropped below 103 Volts when turned on our microwave. The rest is typical .Dogs, driven by nonrespectful people, peeing everywhere, no enforcement. Too expensive for this crap. No, will not recommend

We stayed as a last minute thought, just a stop off to break up a long drive. OMG - so glad we did! We camped at the side of a gurgling river which you could tube down, there was the Diamond Mine over the road, a food truck that had just got its alcohol license and an ice cream truck, and it was so peaceful, it had a lovely vibe, friendly folks. Wish we had stayed for longer! We will be back!

Me and my fiancé Love coming there and mining. Despite the fact the last time we visited he shattered his big toe. However, it has gotten pricy. I mean it cost us a family of 4 well over $300 to go camping. Then another $62 to mine. I feel if the camping prices are going to be so high then a multi day pass should be included or at the very least highly discounted for the mines.

We spent 19 nights June 2023. It was the very best campground ever. Easy to get to town , people, Staff , facilities are all top notch . Clean , manicured, beautifully, the firework show on Saturday night prior to Father’s Day was the best I have ever seen in my 61 years of living. I absolutely love the Herkimer KOA.

Love this campground. Reason for a 4 start is that need to work on power and ice cream either give a larger scoop or lower the cost. Worker are friendly and very helpful. Your hours for ice cream need to be better. Have early afternoon for ice cream after spending time in pool. The river view is the best. Lots of things to do on campground. Yes we will return. Another wonderful stay at Herkimer KOA. We love what you've done with the garden behind the office with the repurchased ice cream and food trailers. The outdoor furniture and fire pits are so cozy. Immaculately clean as always. Friendly staff and happy campers!

Absolutely a beautiful campground, with nice amenities; chairs, games, and it is river front! But is has nearly zero wifi or cable, the worst we have encountered, and the toilet/shower facilities are in serious need of competent cleaning; cob webs and mold are pervasive in the showers.

We stay at the Herkimer Diamond KOA every year and sometimes 2X because we have family nearby. We travel from Alabama in a motorhome. This time our stay was disappointing. Water pressure was extremely low, never a problem previously. Internet was terrible. Prior, we could pay for high-speed internet and it was fast enough that we could telework from the camper. It was not possible this time.

Herkimer Diamond KOA is a beautiful campground. We stayed Father's Day weekend and our kids absolutely loved it. Plenty activities for the kids to do; crafts, games, biking, and floating down the river. They have a beautiful area with lush green grass and beautiful landscaping with 4 gas fire pits each surrounded by cozy patio furniture. Fireworks were a great touch,We will be back! Thank You!

We love everything about the Herkimer KOA - other than sites book so fast we have difficulty getting in. It's beautiful, clean, ....I'd move right in if I could!

Everything was good except in lot 83 there was zero WiFi … nothing would connect the entire time there. No phones, no laptops and no TV so that was a complete bummer!

Was a resort. But didnt see hottub Had fireworks that night with no warning, nice. But our dogs dont like them should have had signs or told us on checkin. Other than that. Nice koa as usual

This a first time for all of us and was different. I had fun even though the rain had to remind us that we're powerless when nature brings the rain. Several diamonds were found including several decent sized ones. Prices in the shop were a bit steep for my budget but the little experience I've had with Crystals kinda shows what we all know...quality is not cheap. I do wish I had brought a few larger rocks back as I now have the means to cut into them. I did grab a few that should look nice after a session in the rock tumbler.

We camped here last weekend for their season opening. The staff was so very nice at both the Campgrounds and the Mines. Everyone we met was just absolutely just the most friendly and welcoming that we had an amazing time and immediately rebooked to come back when it's a tiny bit warmer. Despite having a rainy and cold weekend, the view of the creek was lovely and my kids had a ton of fun at the mines and my little guy loved the playground.
