We stayed on a pull through site. It was a combination of gravel and mostly dirt and very unlevel. Bathrooms were in bad need of a refresh - fine for toilets and sinks but I would not take a shower there. For $105 a night, I expected a better experience. Not horrible, just not worth the money paid and the quality expected. There is lots of construction happening so it may be better in the future.

Beautiful background setting. Difficult to imagine a better campground in the U.S.. But, pulling my car behind a 40' pusher, up and down those little mountains, and unsure of where I'm towing it to, this was well worth the effort. Don't be afraid, even the snow geese playing in the river, right in front of the sight was worth it.! GO, GO, GO!!!!!

The rates are high compared to other KOA’s and there is slow or limited Wi-Fi. It’s good to see all of the additions under way which may put them closer to their price point. We were, unfortunately, very disappointed with the new menu at the Miners Table. Other than an aged dry Delmonico steak, the rest of the menu is like your typical pub menu. Pizza and Burgers.

2 nights to rest up after long hard travel. Beautiful and extremely interesting Campground. One of the most unique I’ve ever stayed at. We hope to make it back someday. Good luck!

Came up with a bunch of scouts. They all enjoyed themselves very much. Next time we would prefer if you could do something about the horrible thunderstorms that got everyone soaked it would be great

There is only one word WOW!!!!! camp ground is clean and all the staff are friendly and helpfull. Shout out to Harold im glad I met you. The mines are awesome again great staff and very helpful and knowledgeable. Yes we are going back in May and June.

Sites are very expensive compared to comparable or better campgrounds. We always go at the end of October and use our KOA points to offset the additional cost of the sites. A plus is being able to order from the Miners Table and have it delivered to your site.

I was impressed at how clean the campground was and how new everything looked. The campground was much bigger than I expected and seems to have lots of activities outside of the mining (across the street). We will definitely return. Staff was also pleasant to talk to. One of our better stays, and we were there only for a weekend. Peter

Last minute reservation and short stay but excellent in every way! The view was amazing. Clean shower house. The young man who checked us in was very helpful and friendly. This was our first stay at a KOA and it did not disappoint.

We had a very nice stay. Very friendly workers. The only down fall is the Dump station is on a hill. Luckily they did let us dump in a empty pull through full hookup site.

We decided to do one last camping trip using our tent for season, not realizing that weekend was boy scouts of America weekend. There were 250 boy scouts there and without even asking, Koa took the initiative ahead of our arrival to put us on the other side of the campground so we could have a quieter area. This was one of the more uninspiring campground stays I have had in 49 years of RVing. What makes it more so is that the site was $107 for the night. The park was loaded for the weekend and multiple tenters were parked in FHU drive-through sites around me, and they had their flood lights illuminating my coach all evening. The site wasn't very level and was gravel and dirt which was mud by AM. $$$$

The Staff was amazing both at the diamond mines and the KOA. My Scouts are already talking about next year's Merit Badge event. As a Leader hearing my Scouts say that Warms my heart. Thank You

Wonderful camping resort. Used it as an overnight while traveling. If we lived in the area would strongly consider using it as a destination vacation.

Beautiful campground/resort. Loved being close to the river. Breakfast at the cafe was wonderful (biggest burrito I have ever seen)! Staff is pleasant and helpful and the restrooms are clean and well-maintained.

Definitely a destination in itself. We had lots of fun at the mine. The restaurant was excellent. Campsites were nice. Staff was very friendly and helpful

We loved staying at Herkimer Diamond KOA! Campground was well kept and facilities were nice and clean. It was a beautiful fall view from campsite 69. Kendal the activities director was amazing with our kids!

This a first time for all of us and was different. I had fun even though the rain had to remind us that we're powerless when nature brings the rain. Several diamonds were found including several decent sized ones. Prices in the shop were a bit steep for my budget but the little experience I've had with Crystals kinda shows what we all know...quality is not cheap. I do wish I had brought a few larger rocks back as I now have the means to cut into them. I did grab a few that should look nice after a session in the rock tumbler.

We camped here last weekend for their season opening. The staff was so very nice at both the Campgrounds and the Mines. Everyone we met was just absolutely just the most friendly and welcoming that we had an amazing time and immediately rebooked to come back when it's a tiny bit warmer. Despite having a rainy and cold weekend, the view of the creek was lovely and my kids had a ton of fun at the mines and my little guy loved the playground.
