Bathrooms and campgrounds were very clean and tidy. Staff was not friendly or outgoing whatsoever. Customer service while onsite was minimal-to-rude. New policies eliminating all early check-in and late check out are too strict.

This is our 5th year staying at Hayward KOA and we booked our trip for next year when we were checking out. It's a great place for families as there are many kid friendly activities going on and things to do. And the tubing is always one of our favorites. The KOA employees are always friendly and seem to love their jobs!! Thank you KOA from the Chicago group!!

These visits are all about the grandkids! They had a blast and so did we. The staff was incredible, even while working through the internet outage! We were thankful to get a site with short notice.

Very overcrowded for a campground, everything to do there is an additional price. Although, rain is out of a campgrounds control - it started raining pretty hard the day we were there and there was no where for the water to go, so it pooled up in our campsite like a lake - so we ended up leaving early.

Most staff was rude and disrespectful. Didn’t feel welcomed or know what was going on when for activities. Went into office about jump pad and was asked if we were even staying there. Need to be polite, smile, and be warm and welcoming. Water slide life guards were on their cell phones and not paying attention to kids. Didn’t appreciate paying extra for amenities at this KOA. Too expensive to stay with kids as everything that is more fun than a pool costs money. One family was denied because they had more than 6 in their family and would’ve had to book 2 sites. Kids are too young to tent by themselves. Large families shouldn’t be discriminated against with limits and should be welcomed in one site with all

The camp kitchen are was the nicest I've seen, so that was great, and the staff was friendly and check-in was easy, but we hated everything else about our stay. Tent sites are EXTREMELY SMALL, and full of trees, so if you have a big tent, no luck. There were so, so many people, and it was LOUD LOUD LOUD until about 11, when most people settled down, but one group stayed up YELLING past midnight

My family loves Hayward KOA! However this last trip there was a staff member super rude to my 5 yr old for playing with a toy that we were in line for purchasing. Another staff member that was rude to me for charging items to our site. This was a new experience for me. I always loved the friendliness of the staff but this last time was not the same so I was really disappointed!

This was our 2nd trip out and it will continue every year. My girls absolutely love "camp KOA" and there is so much for them to do. We opt to tent right now just for ease and love that we can be close to the playground for them. They love making new friends and within an hour of checking in, they are off playing with new friends they made. Everyone working is amazing, kind and helpful.

The kids loved Mr. Fun and his cool tricks. They loved all the sports stuff too! We played in the pool and went down the waterslide so many times we lost count! The kids loved jumping on the pillow too. Every staff member deserves a raise for how kind and helpful they were! Our littlest says he would like there to be a tub next year because he loves tubs :) The theme nights were super fun too!

We go every summer and it's one of our families favorite place to go! I've gone every year since I was a kid and now I love seeing my kids enjoy Hayward KOA. We love it here!

I come to Hayward annually to ride MTN bikes and gravel, and just recently bought an EV. Hayward is short on reliable EV charging stations, and the closest supercharger is close to 140mi away. The staff were so gracious to let me charge my car and keep me from having to wait over 24+ hrs while charging on a household 120V plug! Even though I wasn't staying at the campground. I love people who continue to pay it forward!
