These are very tight campsites,with many trees. I felt like I was a sardine separated by toothpicks. The people were friendly. It's a very family/ 5th wheel place. We stayed in a 45 ft motorhome and don't recommend it.

Amenities are good, clean, staff is helpful and friendly. The campsites are way to close, pull thru sites a must, barely room to pull out camper avg size (26’) Great for kids, lots to do, very peaceful at nite

Love everything about the park except the size of the sites. I get it, its revenue, but I don't see myself coming back due to that. I had to park my truck in the lot not on the site due to this, and my trailer is a 29ft.

Office staff was pretty unhelpful, no one to take you to your space which was a shock as this was the first KOA that did not have someone take up to our space. The campsite is very busy and lots of activities for children, which makes this campground a good place for those traveling with children, but maybe no so much with those who are not.

The roads where so dusty during our stay that we could not sit outside or open any windows on the camper. Also the holding tanks did not empty completely because the dump station area wasn’t level. Speed limits need to be enforced also

The staff was nice. The Hayward Koa needs many updates. The camping spots are way to small. People are on top of each other. Plus you can hardly get into your spot it's that tight. Good luck getting out of your site as well. I notice many RV's that couldn't have their slideouts out all the way because of trees being to close. Definitely need to cut some of the pines down. It does get muddy too.

Only real complaint is that my site was very narrow. Couldn't even open up the awning fully and the slide outs hit the tree trunks.

They said they were full when I stopped in. Then the other lady co-worker said they had a 20 amp only open. She said would probably have to run one thing at a time so we wouldn't blow a fuse. But we had no problem with it. So glad they give us a chance on it.

Warning! This campground is too small for RV’s over 32 feet. There isn’t enough room for vehicles in the tiny spots, so people park them in the roads, making moving your RV difficult. The “Pull Through” spots don’t actually allow you to pull through because of the tiny spots, too many trees and posts, and narrow roads. I had to back out of my spot. Staff is not helpful. Never again!

We had a fantastic stay in Hayward! Absolutely beautiful setting with tall pines,clean /well kept campsites & buildings, and friendly helpful employees everywhere! There was so much to do in the park! Our grandsons loved the water slide, pool, bouncy mat, pedal bikes, arcade, and playground area. We felt so at home and highly recommend this campground!

One dump site is not enough for the size of this campsite. Fire wood is expensive when compared to other KOA sites. $5.00 per bundle is the norm.

This was our second year staying at the Hayward koa. Always so much to do for the kiddos and fun for the adults too. Internet was out which made for a few mistakes on our charges and seemed to make the staff not as friendly as usual but all was resolved. We will be back again

Didn’t like the loud side by side vehicles in the campground!! Going to fast! And campers too close couldn’t even have a fire any of the six nights we were there! Both sites next to us had to park there trucks in our site!! Not happy!! People racing on Motorized Go carts that were stay there!! Not a good first experience!!!

The new management is outstanding! We absolutely love coming here with our granddaughters! The staff is very fun and every is very clean. We will continue to come back every other weekend to the Hayward KOA and will bring our friends and families along too. We just love it here.

We were there with our granddaughters and there were activities for them. Also, many things to do in Hayward that were within 10 miles. The staff at the campground were exceptional. We liked it so much that we booked again for next year.

GREAT if you have kids/grandkids. Relaxing Sundays Thursday, EXTREMELY BUSY CAMPGROUND Fri/Sat. Campsites WAY to packed together making for EXTREMELY SMALL campsites. Staff was GREAT. Bathrooms clean. If you are planning a family get together with kids ages 2-17 this is the place for you. If you are a couple looking to relax in a Northern Wisc centralized area, might want to look somewhere else.

Our campsite was too small for our camper. There was a stump right outside our door so we couldn’t put out patio rug out. Made a mess in the camper with all the dirt. We were disappointed in the mini golf. My grandkids didn’t go on the water slide because of the line of kids waiting. The public was able to use it too. The bathrooms were outstandingly clean. Spur the moment weekend camping, plenty of things for the kids to do and fun family things in town Hayward. Awesome pool and good ice cream! Huge playground and decent arcade.

Been coming to koa for years. Realizing you really need to pick where you want to be. 25 was noisy and could hardly hear conversations. Preferred 401 but that was reserved. Rules seemed lax. Dogs in areas where sign says no dogs. Kids biking in your own lot. It was hard this time. Will try harder to reserve ahead of time.

Pool was a great temperature but VERY crowded. You had to bring your own candy prizes to bingo. Showers were clean but a bit dated. Over all a nice campground but a few improvements would make it unbeatable.

The staff were so kind and welcoming. They were very knowledgeable about the campground and were super informative when we asked questions. The grounds were really well maintained and beautiful. The restrooms were clean and cleaned often. The pool was area was inviting and staff let us know when it was time to clean the pool and get it ready for the next day! Even our dog had a great time!

We had a wonderful stay at the Hayward KOA. Everyone had so much fun and there was so much to do. The kids really enjoyed the pool and trampoline. All the employees were great, especially the gentleman that drop off firewood. They were both so nice and stopped to chat with us about the weather and answer our kids questions about the golf carts. We had a great time and can’t wait to come back!

We go every summer and it's one of our families favorite place to go! I've gone every year since I was a kid and now I love seeing my kids enjoy Hayward KOA. We love it here!

I come to Hayward annually to ride MTN bikes and gravel, and just recently bought an EV. Hayward is short on reliable EV charging stations, and the closest supercharger is close to 140mi away. The staff were so gracious to let me charge my car and keep me from having to wait over 24+ hrs while charging on a household 120V plug! Even though I wasn't staying at the campground. I love people who continue to pay it forward!
