We love Hayward KOA! The staff are friendly and fun and the campground is clean and welcoming, we come back year after year!

What a wonderful experience our entire family had!! We had our children and grandchildren for the weekend and we all loved the Halloween themed weekend, the ice cream, the areas to walk our dogs, and the large pool. We hope to plan another annual trip together back at the this location!

Our stay is always amazing! I can't wait to stay again. The staff is always friendly and helpful amd I love how kid centered the campground is. Makes it very enjoyable for adults as well!

Stay would have received a higher rating, except on Sunday night I had to remind the night staff that it was 2:00 in the morning, and they were very loud that I could hear them in my pop up camper.

Koa had power issues, pool issues. Bathrooms were dirty or unavailable. It just not fun at all this time! Dogs tied to a tree right next to us. Kids running in back of our site.

I have no issues with my stay at Hayward KOA. The staff was friendly, and they did a great job keeping people informed of a power issue that took place. My only complaint is the campground is now requesting a $20 fee for reserving a spot for next year on top of the deposit that is normally required to reserve a spot. I don't think that is good business practice for keeping long term guests.

Excellent stay! 1. Props to Terri, the arts and crafts lady! She was simply AMAZING (super accommodating, FUN and nice to see kid friendly, open-ended crafts) 2. Super to see updated bike rentals! 3. Super glad we rented cabins rather than staying in our tents when it ended up being so warm. It was nice to have the waterside open the full weekend and the end of season Halloween activities were a hit with our kiddos!

Way over priced for a place that is that packed and run down. Bathrooms were gross, pool was small, dog park was tiny and full of dog crap. Our site didn’t have a fire pit and hardly room for a slide. It was very disappointing for the price we paid. Never again for us.

Great family destination but facilities felt dated and tired. Bathrooms weren’t always clean and also inadequate facilities for a full campground.

We have been coming to the hayward Koa for the past 10 years. This trip was much different then the past ones. For the first time EVER we were met by someone very rude while booking. Upon arrival the staff wernt rude but not friendly either. There was nothing for our teen to do not even some kids games or bingo. This forced us to spend more $ outside the park. The wood was so wet it didn't light.

This was the first time I had ever stayed at a KOA. I would highly recommend to all my friends and family. Definitely a 10! The staff was very friendly and kind. 5 Stars! I was there with my sister and her kids. The children had a blast from sun up to sun down. Thank you KOA of Hayward for the everlasting memories!

You have a awesome & friendly staff & everyone is always very helpful ! We really enjoyed doing the tie dye T shirts & the dance that evening ! We will be back for sure ! Thanks again for a fantastic & relaxing weekend see you in the spring !

Four families, three with children, and one with a dog, enjoyed three sites next to each other for a week! Staff all stopped to visit, see if we needed anything and were having fun. Felt like the whole place was there just for us. Kids all had wonderful time: pool, jump pad, water slide, bikes, massive playground. This was the best place to close out summer. Please put better lighting in showers!

This was our first stay at a KOA and I'm impressed! The people working there were all very helpful and friendly. The grounds were immaculate, evidenced by the people I saw out picking up garbage daily. The pool was spotless. Terri did a great job with the crafts. The play areas were safe and fun for my son. We especially loved the pedal go-carts that we rented. We will definitely be back!

We did not stay due to very cold weather with a 2 year old, we had a tent site and the weather turned quickly and we were not able to tent camp with a 2 year old. Things happen, we did not plan on the cold weather, otherwise we would have camped. I would really like to see some of my money back since we did not check in or stay on the grounds. The location would not work with us.

This was our first experience at Hayward koa in many years, but first time bringing our children. There were a lot of activities, but the place was very loud into the night, which made it difficult for my kids to sleep. The bathrooms were very gross and we did not dare using the showers. I don’t know that we would be back.

Elevated angled stump at back of RV site that is short enough to fit under trailer but tall enough to engage my septic structure underneath trailer. Please cut this down more flush. Campsite 209#

Very cute area for tent camping in the back left corner of the park. Lots of stuff going on for kids and families. Bought coffee in the morning on Sunday and it was great. All the staff was kind and helpful. Buy firewood and they deliver it to your site for you. Bathrooms and showers were clean and locations were close by. Had a great stay and will be back soon.

Friendly staff, nice and clean campground and awesome for kids!! Nice cabins, will say I just wish it felt a little cleaner in the cabin itself we had someone else’s used soap bar in the shower, the counter and sink were dirty. Otherwise such a fun and memorable trip we will stay again!

Very nice. clean restrooms! Great fun for kids. Nice large pool and playground. Only complaint was they put another family of 7 right next to us with no barrier when the campground was only 1/4 full.

We have come here for 7 years...we will NEVER come back. The grounds were filthy, the staff were beyond rude and we were not notified the slide was closed and the restaurant only had ice cream till we arrived. Bait and switch. Its one thing to say ahead of time the slides were closed and the rest. had no food before i paid...another to say it after when there is no refund. We are telling everyone.

We had a great time at the KOA. The campground was clean and well maintained. The bathrooms could definitely be updated. The women’s shower near the waterslide would not drain.

The KOA was great! It was very family friendly! There is a lot to do for young kids, and our kids had a blast. The campsite was clean, and very well done. I loved the café and food options. Our kids loved the bouncy pillow. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and decided to make it a yearly tradition!

We go every summer and it's one of our families favorite place to go! I've gone every year since I was a kid and now I love seeing my kids enjoy Hayward KOA. We love it here!

I come to Hayward annually to ride MTN bikes and gravel, and just recently bought an EV. Hayward is short on reliable EV charging stations, and the closest supercharger is close to 140mi away. The staff were so gracious to let me charge my car and keep me from having to wait over 24+ hrs while charging on a household 120V plug! Even though I wasn't staying at the campground. I love people who continue to pay it forward!
