This is our 5th year staying at Hayward KOA and we booked our trip for next year when we were checking out. It's a great place for families as there are many kid friendly activities going on and things to do. And the tubing is always one of our favorites. The KOA employees are always friendly and seem to love their jobs!! Thank you KOA from the Chicago group!!

GREAT if you have kids/grandkids. Relaxing Sundays Thursday, EXTREMELY BUSY CAMPGROUND Fri/Sat. Campsites WAY to packed together making for EXTREMELY SMALL campsites. Staff was GREAT. Bathrooms clean. If you are planning a family get together with kids ages 2-17 this is the place for you. If you are a couple looking to relax in a Northern Wisc centralized area, might want to look somewhere else.

Our campsite was too small for our camper. There was a stump right outside our door so we couldn’t put out patio rug out. Made a mess in the camper with all the dirt. We were disappointed in the mini golf. My grandkids didn’t go on the water slide because of the line of kids waiting. The public was able to use it too. The bathrooms were outstandingly clean. As always the campground delivers on a great time! The grounds are clean, the staff are great, the new ice cream sundaes are delicious! Always a family favorite, if I can just get a patio spot I'll be as giddy as ever! :)

It would have been nice to more bathroom stalls in the men's bathroom. My husband mentioned the lines of men waiting to use the stall in the bathroom and that there wasn't enough of them. Also, we are potty-training our daughter and he was unable to help her use the restroom due to the lines or not having a stall open when needed. Otherwise, very good experience.

These visits are all about the grandkids! They had a blast and so did we. The staff was incredible, even while working through the internet outage! We were thankful to get a site with short notice.

Spur the moment weekend camping, plenty of things for the kids to do and fun family things in town Hayward. Awesome pool and good ice cream! Huge playground and decent arcade.

Been coming to koa for years. Realizing you really need to pick where you want to be. 25 was noisy and could hardly hear conversations. Preferred 401 but that was reserved. Rules seemed lax. Dogs in areas where sign says no dogs. Kids biking in your own lot. It was hard this time. Will try harder to reserve ahead of time.

While, the amenities are great and most everyone is incredibly friendly, the cabins are in desperate need of updating. The mattresses were so bad, my kids had to double them up just to have a little bit of cushion to them. I know it’s expensive to run a campground but we could have gotten a higher end hotel room for the price we had to pay for the cabins.

Pool was a great temperature but VERY crowded. You had to bring your own candy prizes to bingo. Showers were clean but a bit dated. Over all a nice campground but a few improvements would make it unbeatable.

The staff were so kind and welcoming. They were very knowledgeable about the campground and were super informative when we asked questions. The grounds were really well maintained and beautiful. The restrooms were clean and cleaned often. The pool was area was inviting and staff let us know when it was time to clean the pool and get it ready for the next day! Even our dog had a great time!

We had a wonderful stay at the Hayward KOA. Everyone had so much fun and there was so much to do. The kids really enjoyed the pool and trampoline. All the employees were great, especially the gentleman that drop off firewood. They were both so nice and stopped to chat with us about the weather and answer our kids questions about the golf carts. We had a great time and can’t wait to come back!

The facility is very nice with trees between sites. The amenities for families is outstanding and everything is well kept. It was quiet at night and we had a very relaxing stay.

Very busy campground but, seemed like staff was keeping up with the flow. Staff was very attentive to our needs. Pool was clean and very inviting. Good communication. We’ll definitely come back.

We had an amazing stay as always! I’ve been coming since I was a kid and now I bring mine. The staff in charge of taking care of and cleaning the campground kept everything looking wonderful and we’re so friendly and helpful. There’s so many fun things to do to keep the kids entertained. 10 out of 10

We stayed for 1 week and it was peaceful for us. Friendly staff, liked the conveinence of honeywagon for one's without full hook-ups. Wish it came as part of the lot rental, but realize what making profit is in all business. Thanks for a great annual vacation. Next time we'll have to bring the grandkids.

We stayed primarily for the location. The site we had was extremely helpful as we were close to the entrance and to the showers/bathrooms.

Very overcrowded for a campground, everything to do there is an additional price. Although, rain is out of a campgrounds control - it started raining pretty hard the day we were there and there was no where for the water to go, so it pooled up in our campsite like a lake - so we ended up leaving early.

All KOA employees were fantastic! Our lodge was clean and supplied with all the necessities. Comfortable beds. We booked for next year as we were leaving. Same cabin! We had a great time! Thank you!

Our family has stayed at the KOA for a few years as a family reunion weekend. We are never disappointed. The camp staff is amazing and the campground is always clean, safe and fun.

The sites are way to close together with way too many trees. There is no grass. There is also no space next to your camper for any outside activities. And the trees...way to many, you can barely get your slides out and forget your awning. Also, getting out of your spot with that many tress is impossible. No where for people to park so they park on the road and right next to your fire pit.

The Hawyard KOA was disappointing. The spots are very very close together with no play room or privacy. While there are many activities, most of them are extra. If you want to play candy bar bingo you need to bring your own candy bar. The "DJ" dance was a worker trying to play songs off her phone on pandora and kept getting commercials. Don't forget the 7am text on a Sunday thanking us for stay.

We go every summer and it's one of our families favorite place to go! I've gone every year since I was a kid and now I love seeing my kids enjoy Hayward KOA. We love it here!

I come to Hayward annually to ride MTN bikes and gravel, and just recently bought an EV. Hayward is short on reliable EV charging stations, and the closest supercharger is close to 140mi away. The staff were so gracious to let me charge my car and keep me from having to wait over 24+ hrs while charging on a household 120V plug! Even though I wasn't staying at the campground. I love people who continue to pay it forward!
