We've stayed a few times at the Hayward KOA but this time felt different. As always the place was clean but the staff this time seemed to be annoyed we were there. I could give a list of different situations but not with a limited amount of characters. My kids love visiting here almost annually but we would likely seek out other places if it continued to feel so unwelcoming.

We had a good time, but sites were narrow. The extra amenities ( water slide, mini golf) should be a one time fee for the length of your stay.

I've been camping most of my life and I've never had a better time than my stay here. If you want a old time, friendly, clean, respectful, family orientated great vacation... stay here! I've already recommended this camp ground to my family and a couple of my close friends.

Crowded, packed in like sardines! Trying to be an amusement park and a campground all in one just does not work. Campfire smoke in the park was so thick you couldn’t even stand to be outside. The KOA buggies running around outside or more intent on selling firewood than seeing to the needs of the campers. Busy park...nice clean..sites were spaced nice with the pine trees....the perfect place to bring kids or grandkids...lots of cool activities plus the little ice cream shop...

We had a great time staying here. I came here as a little girl and it’s still just as clean and fun as I remember. The bathrooms and showers were always well kept and staff was friendly and helpful. We will come back again.

Loved it as always. Seven years running except for last year. Wood for campfire was poor the first night. Better the next couple nights. Could use some more activities for teens. My 13 and 15 year old still had fun but could use more options. Great for kids 12 and under.

My 4 year old had so much fun! The park was always clean thanks to the hard working staff! The pool was a little cold despite being heated but we had fun despite!

It was very nice, all the staff were extremely nice! The ladies inside were very nice (even though it was very busy!), the employees driving around always waved with a smile ~ very friendly staff! The caricature lady was a little short with us, she was very busy though.

This would have been a 5 star rating except the fact that our bed frame broke at 3am, and had to move our kids around so that we could sleep on bottom bunks. They did repair it, but did not reimburse us at all for the huge inconvenience. We lost so much sleep due to that! It would have been a nice gesture to comp us a night's stay. Otherwise, we love love Hayward KOA.

Very family friendly campground! Our kids loved this place. There is so much to do! The events for the the Guest Appreciation Themed Weekend were well organized. We enjoyed that there was a dog park and doggy walking path for the dogs that our group had. The campground is well taken care of and maintained and the bathrooms/showers were very clean. We would stay again.

We rented a small cozy cabin for 2 kids, 2 adults and a puppy. We had a great time! So much stuff for the kids to do we were busy all day. The pool was heated which was great. It did get a little spendy on some of the amenities like renting the bikes but it was worth it. We will definitely be back next season!

Kids had a great time! The wood bundles are fairly expensive and they must have been a bit "green" yet as it was fairly difficult to get the fire going, especially since there was no twigs around to use. Campsites are fairly cramped but can't expect much else at a campground such as this so I can't hold that against them.

We missed the field games on Saturday and the s’mores around the community fire this year. Pool was frigid on Saturday, but better Sunday. The movie went way past 10 and no one enforces quiet hours. Took 40 minutes to get food at the Red Pines and no one was in front of us! �����‍��� A plus was the new bikes, and the grounds were nice. In general, we always have a good time during our

I give it an overall 5���� , lots to do and lots of fun to be had and well kept facilities. The only thing that I wasn’t a fan of was our campsite #65 was on a slight slope and it was very hard to level out or camper on. But other then that it is a great campground .

Great place to stay! Not like most other wide open flat campgrounds. Plenty of tree coverage, but ample room on each site. Plenty for kids to do! Staff was great!

The staff is really great at this KOA. The restrooms are kept clean and we noticed the staff cleaning them several times a day. The grounds and landscaping are absolutely beautiful. We loved the cafe. However, you are really packed in (very close to your neighbor). We did have problems with people walking and biking through our sight on several occasions.

Our family absolutely LOVES this KOA! Clean campground and great rates! Nanci the Manager is so wonderful! She makes a great place even better! We will definitely keep coming back! So much to do for the kids, the jumping pillow tires them out for sure! It’s usually quiet well before the ‘quiet time’ hour, that makes it really relaxing. Thanks for a wonderful time!

Loved everything! Tubing down the Namekagon, swimming in the pool, eating ice scream, roasting marshmallows, visiting downtown Hayward, eating at local restaurants. We had so much FUN.

We had a very nice time. Beautiful area. Gravel Roads in campground are very dusty and uneven but most people probable overlook that.

A VRBO or resort would’ve fit our families needs better especially at over 500$ for a 2 night stay. The campground is nice and clean. We stayed in a deluxe cabin, the shower was very small had low pressure and ran out of hot water quickly. There were spiders and other bugs in our cabin. I know we were camping but expected a little bit more considering the price of over 250$ a night.

LOVE the Hayward KOA. Lots of stuff to do, nice sites, clean facilities. Newly remodeled and well stocked store. Ice cream and a wide variety of options at the grill. And Brian and Nanci are the best!!

Stayed for 2 nights. Ice KOA with a lot of things to do especially for 10 and under. Tons of kids! Nice pools and friendly staff.

All of the workers were very friendly and helpful. They kept the whole campground including the bathrooms extremely clean. Lots to do and was a fun time for the kids and adults.

We go every summer and it's one of our families favorite place to go! I've gone every year since I was a kid and now I love seeing my kids enjoy Hayward KOA. We love it here!

I come to Hayward annually to ride MTN bikes and gravel, and just recently bought an EV. Hayward is short on reliable EV charging stations, and the closest supercharger is close to 140mi away. The staff were so gracious to let me charge my car and keep me from having to wait over 24+ hrs while charging on a household 120V plug! Even though I wasn't staying at the campground. I love people who continue to pay it forward!
