This was our second family trip here. It's a very clean and fun for all ages campground. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We love coming here.

Stay was good, came to atv. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. Would stay here again. Kids enjoyed pool, jump balloon, and ice cream. Mosquitos were awful on our site all day long though. didn't realize that we booked next to the swamp, however they were pretty bad elsewhere too. We were told that you did spray for them but that is just how bad they are this year. Thanks for trying!

Rented a cabin, costly cabin! Arrived to find no toilet paper or soap for hands. That was brought to us but then after told the pool would be closed all weekend due to waiting on a part! Come to find out that management loves to blame everyone else for mistakes or things they haven’t done!! Very disappointed with nothing offered but a sprinkler, the pool is the reason we go! Hot water in cabin did not work-they fixed it. We got a text message as soon as we arrived the pool was not going to be open due to a problem. They ran out of craft supplies for the craft they were doing with the kids. Our futon in our cabin was broken and the best they could do was put wood blocks under it for support. It felt very unorganized and some staff seemed irrited to be doing their jobs

Very disappointed with our stay. The campground failed to let us know that the pool and water slide were going to be closed for the weekend. Had we known that we would not have come with all our kids. Those are the main reasons we come to the campground and to not be warned about that was a dirty trick and bad business. We had friends that we encouraged to go and for their first trip/last trip!

We had a great time. We enjoyed the Mario Bros movie under the stars and all of the new experiences since we were last here. Cabin and facilities were clean. Staff at the front desk seemed overwhelmed and non-attentive at times. We do wish that we had been notified that the pool and water slide weren't going to be open for Memorial Day weekend instead of needing to ask when they'd open.

The pool wasn't operational for Memorial Day and while it seemed outside their control, it was a disappointment to find that out after we had made the long trip to get there. Quiet hours were supposed to start at 11 p.m. but the movie Saturday was still blaring sound until nearly midnight and our young kids couldn't fall asleep. Also, a nearby campsite had party lights and music blasting past 12pm

The staff was friendly, the facilities were clean and well kept. However, the pool and water slide were not open for memorial weekend. We booked our stay and called a few days prior and none of the staff told us there was no pool or slide. If those would have been open I would rate higher, I just wish we were told they were not opening. They gave free mini golf and BOGO tubing in lue closures.

There was no communication that water stuff would not be available even though they knew ahead of time. I would have canceled & booked somewhere else had I known. The staff was very unorganized & were not prepared for the weekend. Some of them were also very rude!

Worst time ever. We've stayed here for years and most likely won't be back. The campground is in need of many repairs. My grandson was not able to swim or go on waterslides because of your negligence in not being ready for inspection . Your compensation of going tubing 2for1 was not okay for we are in our 70's and your mini golf was falling apart. I would like my points back I used for this trip.

We were under the understanding the pool would be open for memorial day weekend! When we got there we found out it was not. This was one of the main reasons we chose this campground. Otherwise everything was clean and staff were fairly friendly. Kids have a good time here!

Very disappointed pool and water slide both closed for repairs, seems stuff maintenance related should have been checked out in April/early May to ensure ample time for repair prior to memorial day weekend.

First off, we specifically booked here so the kids could swim and were told that it would be open. To get there and find out a day later that they cannot open the pool. TO say my kids were disappointed was an understatement. Also on the way home found out they had charged us to re-book which we didn't ask them, and they charged for things that we had already paid for with cash.

We enjoyed our stay but will probably not be back nor recommend it to anyone because of the quiet time not being enforced. Loud music and yelling was still going on all over the campground at midnight. It was impossible to sleep and was waking up my kids. Most KOAs are good about quiet time, not this one.

Coming from 2 hours away to find out the kids could not use the pool all weekend on memorial weekend was a huge disappointment as well as the constant noise as late as 2am. We left early so our kids could sleep the next night.

This is a spot we go to every year as a tradition for memorial day. There were a few things I noticed that have changed. The pool was not working, they apologized and said it might work. My kids were pretty disappointed by it. There was very rude employees employees in the gift shop. I left like we were a burden to them. One big shout out I wanted to give is to the maintenence and cafe

Nice and quiet! We knew it was early season and the campground would be less crowded. Enjoyed watching the campground crew getting the sites ready for Memorial Day weekend. Facilities were clean and well maintained. Thank you for an enjoyable week! We'll be back.

Very friendly staff. I would suggest though it might be easier if you could purchase a wrist band to use all of the things in the park instead of having to purchase individual things (example: the bikes, the rock thing (by the playground), mini golf and then also purchasing a band for the jumping pillow. If you have only so many bikes, you could have the kids sign up for 2 times/day or somethin

We stayed at Hayward KOA so we could go to the Cranberry Festival at Stone Lake. Did it last year also. Great campground lots of trees and shade, big sites. There are a lot of things to do at the campground and in the area. Will be coming again next year.

The area is great for children except for the fact that the sites are very small and crowded. We have a fifth wheel with slides and our one slide butted right up to the picnic table. There was one site that had a dog that barked all the time at everything and no one did anything about it. I have stayed at many KOA's and they are usually spacious and quiet. That is definitely not this one.

Just a short overnight, but we've stayed here before. Well kept grounds and buildings. Plenty of family activities. Hayward is a great area to visit.

Sites are tight but you all put us in the tightest spot you had despite us telling how big our camper was during the reservation process. Propane was an issue to get, carried the tank there 4 times before I was able to get it filled, we have been in 7 KOA's so far on our trip and this one is the worst by far. Staff wasn't the friendliest either but not too bad I guess

Everything was clean and nice. I had great neighbors but my Uncle and Aunt's site as well as my cousins's site had a rowdy group playing Cornhole all night and when the bean bag hit the board it would make a loud noise besides the group noise. Management did come once to hush them up but that didn't last. We all like to have fun but after 1am can be late. We all still had a great time! ���

We go every summer and it's one of our families favorite place to go! I've gone every year since I was a kid and now I love seeing my kids enjoy Hayward KOA. We love it here!

I come to Hayward annually to ride MTN bikes and gravel, and just recently bought an EV. Hayward is short on reliable EV charging stations, and the closest supercharger is close to 140mi away. The staff were so gracious to let me charge my car and keep me from having to wait over 24+ hrs while charging on a household 120V plug! Even though I wasn't staying at the campground. I love people who continue to pay it forward!
