We've stayed there twice and have enjoyed both times. Had a little Incedent with someone with loud music all day and half the night made a quick call and it was handle fast.

We loved, loved, loved our stay. We spent three weeks there and it seemed like our own little paradise. Beautiful peaceful area to walk around, awesome views of the lake even from inside the RV, the employees are very friendly and helpful, etc. we will definitely consider staying there again and I highly recommend a stop for anyone.

Stay was very peaceful and relaxing. Campsite were a little crowded with site so close together. And parking per site should be better marked per site. Someone came in late Saturday night and parked truck across the area to park at our camper. Also, the showers near the teepees need bench or something to place clothes so they don’t get soaked while showering. But all in all a great camping trip

This was our third stay, and it definitely was not the charm. We arrived late because of unusual traffic on the interstate, but this in itself would not present a problem. When we reached our site you could not tell the boundaries of the graveled parking area due to the amount of leaves that covered the site. The roadway and about 4/5 feet off of the road was cleared of leaves and that was all.

Great campground. Nice spots with easy hookups. Beautiful views. Good space for your RV and the check in/ check out process was really easy. Will def stay again and recommend to others.

First time staying and we will absolutely be back. It was so relaxing and more “natural” than most koa’s, it felt more like a state campground which was amazing

It was raining the 1st day but after that the weather was nice. The campground was cleaned after the rain by the staff and all the areas were blown off. The restrooms were very clean and the campground was very nice. Great place and I will return.

The tent site has a great view of the water and is spacious with plenty of trees to hang a hammock. The staff was friendly, the haunted woods trail was fun. But the bathroom was horrible. They have a serious spider infestation. Far beyond normal for a campground in the woods. I don’t have enough characters to describe how bad it was. Dozens of webs all over. I don’t think they clean regularly.

We stayed in one of the mini cabins but also had a lakeside rv lot. It was Halloween weekend and we had an awesome time. Ps it was Ga Fla football weekend. Go Dawgs.

Our site was beautiful. Right on the lake. However site 26 was extremely hard to get into. The neighbors had to move their vehicles to pull in as well as hook up. Also the water didn’t work very well at this site. The bathrooms were extremely inconvenient for campers in the RV sites. You should really consider putting a bath house with the campers. We will probably not stay again because of this

Beautiful location and sites. Very well maintained. Our 40’ class A fit nicely on the waterfront site, but only 30service at this site. Surrounding sites had 50amp service. Would stay again WiFi signal was not available from our site. Only acceptable signal was near the two bathhouses

Gate too small for RV's. It also closes too quickly for a longer RV. No daily trash pick up. Will not return.

We had a wonderful time. On site 5 there were some washed out places but we managed. The site needs leveling but it has a beautiful view. We will be back!!

We had the best time. The hay rides and the spooky trail were fantastic. All of the staff were extremely nice!! Beautiful campground. Love the Teepees too!

The staff was great very helpful , the park was very clean and quiet. The kids loved the bounce pad, the view of the lake from camp site 6 was absolutely Beautiful. I will definitely be back next time for a longer stay, and the hiking trail was fantastic.

We enjoyed site #2. It was level, large, and had an excellent view of the lake. It also had easy access to the lake. The location was close to the playground and dog park.

Loved the sites along the lake, which we were lucky enough to get. The staff were friendly and very accommodating to what we needed and made our short stay a great one.

Gorgeous lakefront lots - well spread out. Very quiet and peaceful! Internet was spotty to non-existent but we understand that the new KOA owners are working on that issue. Better internet will help when we need to work remotely while enjoying the fresh air and beautiful views at this campground. We plan to camp here again at least twice in 2023!

It was a beautiful place. We enjoyed our stay. Some of the sites were hard to get in but not terrible. The roads going in and out were tight but manageable. The water front sites had railings and stairs down to the water. Some of the sites were close together but most were not. Bathrooms and showers seemed clean but we didn't use them. We enjoyed our stay.

This is one of the best camping places we have been to. Hartwell lakeside KOA has excellent camping options. Great Lake views. Restrooms are clean. Kids play area. Dog park. Variety of sites to fit your camping preferences. The staff is really friendly and provide great service. We have camped here 3 times and always recommend to our friends and family. I would anytime come back and camp here.
