Good location, stopped for one night. We didn’t want to unhitch, original pull through site too short, changed us to longer site but completely unlevel both side to side and front to back. Lots of dead trees, one fell next site over during the night. Friendly staff. Great showers.

Our new favorite place to stay when traveling the interstate 81 route (3x now). So quiet, pleasant staff, great pizza! We hope to make a vacation of this KOA in the future and explore the Shenandoah area.

We had tire problems on our way to the KOA and we needed a spare tire. The people there were very helpful directing us somewhere to go. The people at this KOA are very friendly we would stay there again.

Stayed 7 nights. Very clean and well run camp. It was very quiet at night. The only odd thing was the locations of the water, sewer, electric and cable. I would stay there again.

Great place! Loved all the hand carved signs throughout the campground. We enjoyed the well marked short hike up to the Shenandoah national forest.

We enjoyed our vacation here in the Shenandoah Valley. The campground is close by to the major attractions. Staff is friendly and helpful, sites are roomy with plenty of shade, campground is clean, organized and quiet. We also enjoyed the comical squirrels who live at this KOA. They provided us with nightly entertainment!

Beautiful campground with lots of mature trees. In a very nice area of Virginia fairly close to Shenandoah National Park. Park was quiet but very full. Stayed 2 nights and really enjoyed to time there. Staff was very friendly and attentive.

We were on our way to Texas from NH and needed to stop for the night. The booking process was great, we had an extra truck and trailer they accommodated in their dry storage area, the showers were immaculate as was the campground, super nice people in the store and an overall great experience. I highly recommend

The grass area for dog walks was next to the dump station so very buggy and odorous and there was really no other grass area to walk our dogs. Also the dog park had no grass. Otherwise this was a great KOA.

Our first time camping there, really nice, clean, many activities available for adults and children. The staff were very friendly. We would definitely stay there again.

Excellent camping experience. Nice sites, WIFI that works, super clean bathrooms. Might be the best KOA of the year so far.

This was our first time staying in an RV, and we had a great experience. The grounds were well maintained, no shortage of activities for our kids, and the people were wonderful! We enjoyed taking advantage of ice and firewood delivery daily. Our family can't wait to come back!

We enjoyed our brief stay. We had camped there many times while our daughter attended JMU. We had a favorite site, but it was not available when we called to make reservations. Michelle was kind enough to spend time on the phone with me to help me fine another perfect spot. We now have a "new" favorite spot! I truly appreciated her kindness and efforts. Hope to be back this year!

We were only there for an overnighted but the KOA was clean , bathrooms were great and the laundry facilities were perfect. We will definitely be going back for a longer visit !

We have stayed here three separate times during our travels. Typically we are late arrivals, and this campground makes it so easy to check in and get our van parked in the nice level sites. We love seeing all the wood carvings throughout the campground.

What a fantastic experience. My family has been to countless state parks and KOA’s camping. This is one of our most favorite campgrounds. The staff was fantastic and the entire campground was clean and tidy. Bathrooms were excellent and showers clean. It was the perfect quiet stay even with most sites being booked. The pool was a blast and activities were awesome! The hay ride was great too!!

Harrisonburg / Shenandoah Valley KOA is set in a beautiful location. The campground is well maintained and the staff is friendly. I look forward to returning again.

This is our second time back. The new management has really impressed us and turned this place into top notch. On top of the appearance being perfect the staff was amazing. Every time we needed ice or firewood they were quick to deliver directly to our campsite. The campsite had a bunch of people working on upgrades and keeping the camp clean. We loved that they had pizza as an option for breakfast and dinner.

Campground has a homey, woodsy feel. Sites are gravel and level. Staff is very friendly.
