Well maintained campground with great customer service. Additionally we loved our camp spot! Would recommend this campground to anyone who wants to visit Shenandoah National Park.

Spot 49 was close to exit -one of the more sloped sites, which was a bit more challenging to level. It was a nice, clean, well-managed KOA with wonderful wood-carved signage and statues throughout the park. It was fun to see the chicken coop -they had 12 quiet ones! Needed our 50 to 30 amp converter since 30 amp was out of service at our post. Stayed 2 nights in our travel trailer.

This is a half way point traveling to NJ. Have stayed her many times. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Nice camping spaces for any size camper. They are always improving the campground. I highly recommend this KOA to everyone .

Great stay! Friendly helpful staff! We were there in April and it was super quiet. A perfect get away for us for a week. The breakfast pizzas were yummy, and they even delivered the pizzas and wood to our campsite.

Restrooms were clean and nicely keep.. The facilities and grounds were what I would expect from a KOA.

We enjoyed the high presence of employees and the apparent care they spend on different aspects of the campground. It was small and quaint. We enjoyed the "forestry" of the park rather than having wide openness. The free coffee bar in the morning was awesome. My boys enjoyed the playground, the lifesize checkers board. The bathrooms/showers were clean and warm and well maintained.

My daughters and wife gave the bath house a 10 out of 10. This is VERY high praise from them and is not given lightly. In their words, "the cleanest we have seen since we started camping!" We will be back as our youngest starts at JMU in the fall and this is the closest campground we could fit in! Look forward to seeing the place when it isn't a high of 40 outside!

Staff were nice and happy to help. Camp site was clean, level and laid out well. Power, water and sewage are good. Campgrounds was well maintained and easy to navigate. I am not a fan of the cuties decoration, signs and lights, and there was a lot. I assume this is their customer. The trail info from the staff was not accurate. The trail is heavily sign with no trespassing. It felt unsafe to hike.

The campground was great. The employees who approached me very rude about pulling past the stop point kind of set my trip up negatively. He was an older gentleman who clearly had no ability to speak to people. His less than desired attitude was replicated right back at him. The rest of the staff was great. They were all very pleasant and helpful.

Great campground that is well organized. I have two complaints though. Our site was very pitched and it took 4 blocks under each front tire (van) to get close to level. My second issue was $9 for five pieces of wood. Consider getting yours ahead of your stay.

We only stayed the one night, but we definitely will be back to stay again longer next time. We loved how it was secluded in the woods, great find! Everyone was very nice and pleasant to deal with!

Location was central to sites and shopping. Front desk ladies were very friendly and helpful. Sites appeared to be mainly level. Turns were a bit tight coming into the campground and the roads/sites were all gravel.

This is our second time back. The new management has really impressed us and turned this place into top notch. On top of the appearance being perfect the staff was amazing. Every time we needed ice or firewood they were quick to deliver directly to our campsite. The campsite had a bunch of people working on upgrades and keeping the camp clean. We loved that they had pizza as an option for breakfast and dinner.

Campground has a homey, woodsy feel. Sites are gravel and level. Staff is very friendly.

Great campground conveniently located near Route 81 but far enough away to provide a quiet, peaceful stay. Great for a quick stop on the way or a destination itself. There is plenty to do for recreation including playground and pool. Can accommodate even the largest rigs with plenty of back-in or pull through sites. The staff are incredibly polite and helpful. They work hard to meet your every need. Terry was a delight to work with and made our stay wonderful.
