Excellent amenities and proximity to historic sites. Harpers Ferry was a great location. Kids enjoyed the arcade area; as a family.

The park is clean and the staff is friendly. Unless you pay for a premium site, the sites are small and the one we were in was difficult to navigate a 30ft trailer into position.

Nice clean campground. The site we stayed on was a pull through and the connection for the sewer was higher than the outlet on the coach. Ran the hose under coach and dumped in the adjacent site.

The evening store staff needs to be better trained. They don’t acknowledge you when you walk in, mumble when speaking to you and play on their phones. BUT, our stay is always amazing!

Detour to get to the KOA and no directions sent so we could get there. An email was sent and it said to follow detour signs which got us lost. Terrible drive to get in, I would avoid it until it was done or call and ask for detailed directions.

I am very happy with your reservations system - I upgraded my tent site to a cabin and was still charged a cancellation fee. I believe this should have been waived and will need to think about using KOA in the future. In rating just Harpers Ferry/Civil War Battlefields, it was the best KOA we have stayed at. It was clean, it was well staffed, and it had pretty of extra activities.

One of our favorite camp grounds! Plenty to do and nice sites. Easy walk to Murphy Farm, White Horse Cafe and the bus that takes you to Harpers Ferry! Great camp store too!!

Proximity to Harpers Ferry NP is great, which is what we were here to do/see. The camp store & the staff is friendly and helpful. I think if you’re here when the amenities are open, it could pretty fun/lively. The bathrooms and laundry were tidy. We stayed on one of the new premium FHU sites and found it to be pretty unlevel. Overall, a nice place!

Great location,helpful staff! Just can’t understand why they tacked on a $10 resort fee per night. Can’t be for the pancake breakfast- we paid for the bacon and coffee. And the pool was closed for the season.when asked,I just got a shrug.

We had a great time even with the rain. My only complaint would be security didn’t exist and the shower houses need a lot of work the water laying on the floor not properly draining

We were camping in a 5th wheel and our friends were in a Class C motorhome. My wife and I have been to this campground many times. This was the first time for our friends. We had adjacent sites in the "new Deluxe Patio section, sites 110 & 111. The sites are so unlevel side to side and front to back that you wonder if the person designing them knew what they were doing.

We have visited HF KOA several times and stay cabin section K127 - K136 b/c they offer prime privacy and are set back in the woods. We "upgraded" this year to a double cabin (K233) and were severely disappointed in the hazards of the cabin site. There is a sever ravine and drastic hill. Very much a tripping hazard and danger to comfortably gather around the fire. These sites need attention.

First time I was charged for my dog. Been to a lot of KOA never paid for my dog. First you have to pay for reservation and now dog!!!!

Many things to do. Could be a great place to stay. We we're put into a space that was suppose to be a pull through but really only way to get into it was back in. Space was too short for our rig. Acrons dropping from trees constantly on to our trailer. Spot was rough and not to level. Pay more attention to info you request. Length, pull vehicle length etc.

Pros: Great location, nice facility overall, friendly staff. Cons: arrived 9/9 to pool closing, all week temps in 80s no pool disappointed. Site 49 low water pressure, had to fill tank & use pump. Cable TV quality poor. Bathroom near site 49, door closure required extreme work to get door open, then slammed shut quickly - actually dangerous!

Don't understand the neg reviews. We were in the back, site 107 and only very distant train noise. Yes, could use another dumpster in the front, but no a reason not to stay. Only complaint is the cable. Goes out every single day and you have to restart/rescan. Went out on day 3 of 4 day stay and would not come back on. Others have complained about that, so something you should look into

Gravel pads all around: some were level, ours was not. Utility connections were not placed well, notably the sewer opening was 8" or so above the ground making it hard since my dump valve is low. Great laundry room with plenty of machines and decent rates.

As always, the area is beautiful with lots to do. The staff is friendly and helpful. The camp store is nice and has lots of supplies and merch. There are a lot of nice amenities here. We have been here several times, and will return.

Stay there Friday Saturday morning. Very nice clean and well organized campsite. It was very peaceful and relaxing, We will be back.

Learned that we shouldn't have camped there till the warmer weather when they open the whole campground. All campers were in one location, close to road and local homes. I didn't enjoy my view of the locals homes that were less than 100 ft from our site. I was hoping to be in the wooded area . But service was great. Employees were friendly. I would go back when they open the whole facility.
